Very tired needs refurbing in and out. A lot of steps. Food luke warm and not up to standard. Staff nice. Beach is down a big hill and only shingle. In general would not recommend the beach for children. Entertainment poor. Drinks very poor not allowed glass even in evenings all served in plastic glasses except in restaurant. In general not at all worth the money we paid .

First time at this hotel. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. Clean, but very tired. Only one restaurant, but the food was varied, tasty & plenty of it. We were there for Christmas. Decorations were sparse, but the Christmas day food was delicious, with a welcome cocktail while we waited to go in. Pools looked lovely, but water too cold to go in. We counted 96 steps from our apartment to the restaurant. So not suitable for disabled or those who have problems with stairs. I was shocked to see that you had to pay to view the TV in your room. This wasn't a problem for us as we don't watch TV on holiday. Positives = Clean, large accommodation. Food was of a good standard, plenty of it & lots of variety. Negatives = Too many steps. No snacks except tubs of ice cream and biscuits. People coming into the restaurant for dinner in swimwear and flip-flops. Sitting on a wet seat after taking the time to dress (casual/smart) for dinner is annoying. Live entertainment, especially Christmas Day, would have been nice (even just singing)

Overall, I was satisfied with the apartment. The apartment was clean, organised and with an amazing ocean view. Dont get a room next to the pool as you wont be able to sleep because of the noise from the bar. The things that I wasnt satisfied with was the poor variation of the food, it tasted very bland and didnt fill me up. I ended up going to the supermarket in the local area. You had to pay for the wifi but there is no guarantee it will reach your room (we couldnt get it in our room) TV is not for free. 1Eur per hour.. Really?? Hotel and the area is perfect for couples and familys but not for people that are looking for a party. Area is quiet and very welcoming and close to good restaurants on the beach. But we enjoyed our holiday!

We booked late for a Christmas getaway so was not expecting too much and steeled for the worst. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall holiday. Ok the rooms were well used and some what dated but we are not talking 5 star here. The food was well cooked and varied (better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in by far). Evening entertainment was limited but the young lady did her best and the kids enjoyed her antics. The staff were very friendly and dinning room staff very efficient in keeping the tables made up for the next guest, Drink were plentiful with the barman pouring very generous measures. Overall value for money, would I go again to this hotel....given the same circumstances definitely.

Apartment was very spacious. Unfortunately the wardrobe smelled awful, kitchen utensils were sparce (luckily we were not intending to cook), no kettle on arrival (we asked for one & it arrived quickly). Different members of staff on reception, some were friendly & helpful, some were not ! When we arrived at 2.30pm we were informed our room would not be ready until 4pm despite our paperwork saying from 2pm. Also that lunch had finished & we could not get any food until dinner at 6.30pm despite being all inclusive (we had breakfast at 5am & nothing else !). Bar was good. Alcohol being served but could help yourself to soft drinks & lager any time ! Well until the bar closed at 11am. Entertainment was not my sort of thing (karaoke & a bird show) but New Years Eve was better than expected. Food had a good selection unfortunately it all seemed cold !

I’m not one to write reviews normally but felt I had to on this occasion! We stayed at the blue sea Callao 26th Dec -2nd jan arrived late 26th due to airport staff being very unhelpful and not being able to get our transfer! Once we eventually found it 6 people on a huge bus! Dropped off tired hungry and we get told restaurant closed and handed a warm bottle of water apple and something that resembled a sandwich. Went to our room, very disappointing - very old and in need of a total overhaul! Sofa falling apart, bathroom dirty no soap only 2 satchets of shampoo?! Holes in walls only bonus it had a fridge. Tv was €1 per hour! Seriously?? Went to bar which is mostly self service, hardly any branded spirits to choose from so if you didn’t like beer, cheap vodka, rum, Malibu and whisky you’re pretty much screwed! Breakfast was edible but not much choice usual hot selection, bread and meats . cereal one end of service milk the other people just push their way in no manners (not the hotels problem I know) didn’t eat lunch there nor dinner. We were all inclusive but after breakfast decided to go elsewhere, unfortunately not much else to choose from as only a few restaurants. Very quiet area and very little going on. For the money we paid for this holiday VERY disappointed to say the least, this was a special treat and feel let down my both the travel agent who told us we were in Costa Adeje and walking distance to beach (we were but it was to rocky!) shops pubs and restaurants. 2 Supermarkets a couple a shops with usual tat and handful of pubs! Would not recommend this hotel or area. Very hilly and wouldn’t suit older or less able walkers.

The staff is very friendly, hotel is close to the beach. The apartament was good, only the balcony door was broken. There is no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom (soap is provided). Food was not very enjoyable, the selection was good, but its more like cantine. The pool is cold. Location is bad - nothing is happening in the area, there is even no shopping centre (only small supermarket and a few restaurants). If you want to go to bars/clubs, you need to take public transport in the evening, and taxi, if you come back during night (which is expensive!). The bus stop for public transport is very close to the hotel.

Well it was an experience to sit in the sun on Christmas day. The studio apartment was spacious but unfortunately we had ants everywhere but as we weren't cooking we didn't bother complaining.the buffet service was very good and there was plenty of choice. Wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone with walking difficulties as there are lots of steps. Very enjoyable holiday and good value for money.

Definitely not for those who don't like steps and slopes. Our apartment to the restaurant was 90 steps. Then downhill to the beach. That means uphill all the way back to our apartment. Very enjoyable with a fitbit... The staff were helpful and friendly, and always very well turned out. The food was not Michelin but was tasy, varied and plentiful. Christmas dinner was a real treat. Apartments are a little tired - could do with some TLC. Views over the sea and La Gomera more than made up for this. The only real negative, if it can be called that, is the lack of a Christmas entertainment program, but on the positive side it encouraged us to walk more and to explore this part of the beautiful island. Temperatures were perfect - we measured up to 29 in the day and down to around 14/15 overnight. Positively tropical considering we have to return to snow in UK. We would go again.

Just got back from callow garden Tenerife well here goes first we got there at noon couldn't get in are room till 4 o clock all those the room was clean we then when for lunch oh dear what a let down only salad but no cooked meats to go with the salad only meat in some short of sauce it was the same for evening meal as well the food was very poor all week apart from Christmas dinner that was nice the only thing missing was gravy and stuffing then we when to the bar which shuts at 11pm on the dot everyone had to leave a 11 15 pm so they could lock up .to top it all there was no security on the bar or pool at night with bar being at the side of the pool we had to pull a drunken women out of the pool one night if we had not she would of drown this hotel needs up dating and there was no entertainment on Christmas eve or for the children on Christmas day
