My friend and I have just returned from a week here. The rooms are basic, clean and spacious. The pools are clean and huge and I have never seen so many spare sunbeds ( no silly early morning towel claiming needed!) and they were all newish and fit for purpose. We stayed self catering so cant comment on the AI food or drink. Its very central for the local restaurant's and bars, ( Route 66 is great for live msic and atmosphere). The area is very quiet so if all you want to do is chill its great. We took the boat trip from Los Giantes for 2 hrs and saw Pilot Whales and Dolphins ( both swam right under the boat) and was well worth the 15 euro each we paid! The staff we came across at reception and elsewhere were all helpful and polite. There was a little maintenance building work going on but it wasn't intrusive. The Canaries are all year round open so it has to be done sometime! We enjoyed our stay here as we paid 3 star and we weren't disappointed as we didn't expect 5 star luxury but did get a clean, quiet central hotel.

Everything pays extra here. Staff was decent, but not what you can expect for in a hotel. Maybe in a local market, but not in a hotel. Some rooms were renovated and some were not. The renovated rooms were ok for three stars, but the shabby ones were MAYBE a two stars quality. There was also a cockroach on one hallway. The pool closes at 18.00 which is insane in my opinion.

We stayed here with our two children aged 10 and 6 for week. We chose a two bedroom apartment and were self catering. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We were given the opportunity to pay extra to be all inclusive on our arrival at a reasonable price but we declined as we preferred to explore and eat somewhere different everyday. Our room was on the ground floor opposite the kids club which initially filled me with fear of it being noisy, but there was no need to be worried as the noise was minimal and unnoticeable. Our balcony opened out onto the main pool which was the favourite thing for our children. There was always room and sun loungers free throughout the day. The pool was well cared for and not too cold at all. We did not attend the evening entertainment as we were not all inclusive and opted to go out in the local area which has lots of choice of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Our favourite was bar Torreon literally next door to the hotel which is a family run restaurant with a lovely friendly atmosphere and great food. The entertainment around the pool followed a timetable and offered red some light entertainment. Our 6 year old son especially enjoyed the Pétanque. He was the only child with mostly French players but, they were all very inviting and encouraged us to play along with them. The rooms were cleaned daily, the kitchen area was fairly minimal but had all we needed for the week. Reading the reviews before we travelled made us apprehensive but there was no need to worry. This hotel was a perfect place to stay and we would definitely go back.

Just spent the week at this fantastic resort, cannot tell you what a great time my family and I have just had. Booked with Tui and the on site rep Margaret was amazing too. Staff were extremely friendly and catered for all the different nationalities that were there. The entertainment guys were just awesome and were the guys who really made our holiday from the pool side games and dancing to the evening shows they were just awesome and cannot thank them enough. We had a great room 315 with good pool view and cleaned daily. Food was good and for a all inclusive hotel very variable. This is not a sole British hotel but in fact is mostly French but this only added to our experience and met some great people I can honestly say we loved it, even my children were in tears when the time came to leave. I highly recommend this resort and would love to think we will go back in the future. If you are thinking of booking JUST DO IT and if you book with TUI Margaret will look after you. Thanks again to Cinthia, Marco and all the entertainment gang Missing you already

My family stayed here last week and really enjoyed our stay. The kids were thoroughly entertained each day both infant pools were perfect for our 4 and 2 year olds. The two big pools were great for them with close supervision. The entire area was spotless and the pool area was spectacular. Our apartment was perfect and very clean. I was very happy with the entire complex and the kids entertainment. Staff were very friendly. We were self catering as we wanted to try different restaurants each evening. The area outside the complex is quite and the restaurants serve mostly english food of poor enough quality. Of the restaurants we visited 2 were very good. El meson at the top of the steps across from the main reception was very nice and the staff were amazing. Very good with my children and very friendly.would highly recommend. La pergola was also fabulous. The food was fantastic and the view was outstanding. Otherwise the food in the other restaurants we visited was poor to ok. I would highly recommend the hotel complex.

Visited last week with my husband and 2 grown up children (17 & 20). Reception area lacking in atmosphere and comforts. Some of the Reception staff had poor English skills. No toilets on that level. Lifts available to the rooms but there are still some stairs to negotiate to some rooms, so not fully wheelchair accessible. Rooms adequate but mattresses not good quality. Cleaning was ok but wasnt everyday. Small kitchen area with double hob and microwave. Full sized fridge and plenty of cutlery and crockery. Stools and breakfast bar area. Large flat screen TV in lounge area. Balconey was small with 2 chairs and small table with an airer. Now, what can i say about the restaurants... "adequate" about sums it up! Plenty of salad and chips, rice ad pasta with some meat and fish dishes. Not much imagination and limited choices for children. The plates were often dirty and we found hairs in the sauces and croissants. Poorly laid out restaurant with tightly packed tables and poorly labelled food. My son and husband struggled to find a decent meal most nights. BBQ pool restaurant ok, but bread dry and burgers undercooked. Food cooked throughout the day. Italian restaurant was very basic!! Lasagne, spaghetti and unimaginative pizza. Only advantage is it is quieter than main restaurant and good if kids like pizza! Two great main pools, but recently tiled with sharp areas. Saw several cut feet, and a notice at reception recommends wearing pool shoes. Pools say they range from 21-24 degrees but felt much colder. Loads and loads of spare sunbeds, even at midday. No need to rush out at the crack of dawn! This was possibly the hotels redeeming feature! Lovely quiet resort but not accessible for those less mobile. The hotel is situated a 10 min walk from a small volcanic beach, but dangerous waves and currents. A natural sea pool a short walk away but accessible via many steps. Locals said to avoid, as last year there were several deaths caused by waves. Pool bar was busy with only one staff member most of the time. Only small plastic cups used, but you could collect 4 each at a time! Poolside entertainment was repetative and very few participated. Sales reps mainly, modelling clothes for sale or a skin specialist selling tanning lotions! Evening entertainment area very poor, uncomfortable plastic chairs in rows around a small stage area. One professional act, flamenco dancers, then just in-house dance competion...two cringe-worthy shows etc..... Evening bar ok with quick service and friendly staff. Overall not a cheap hotel, pretty, with nice pools but really needs alot of improvements.

Excellent staff very helpful nice pools although they close them at 6pm should really be 7pm. Very rude life guard here so be warned, kids can't play with balls in or out of the pool, this particular life guard upset a few parents with his attitude. He tripped a man up & gave him a dirty look & didn't even apologise. Other than this we enjoyed our stay, food was good & u always found something u liked. Staff again very helpful, rooms always cleaned. Pools were nice, good all rounder really, would I visit again, yes, but they need to deal with this bad mannered rude lifeguard.

My friend and I recently visited the hotel for a nice relaxed week in the sun! The hotel was lovely and clean and the entertainment team did a great job at keeping us happy (although their evening shows weren’t the best)! Because the evening shows weren’t the best we took the 5 minute walk around the corner to a local bar called Route 66 that had live rock n roll bands every night! They were brilliant. The pool is great and the selection of drinks at the bar too. We went all inclusive and there was a great range of different food every day all well cooked! There’s lots to do if you are willing to explore. All in all it was a lovely get away.

Great accommodation great complex the food was very varied and lots of choice great for kids and adults loved it the staff were very friendly wherever you went in the complex. Entertainment in the evening was brilliant one of my children dietary requirement staff catered excellently for all her needs absolutely amazing

When we booked the holiday there was no mention of building works going on! Sat by the pool was very noisy with them going on. Woman on reception was damn right rude and called me a liar, all over a room number 😡. Entertainment team are fantastic and the evening shows are a must watch! Lion King is especially brilliant!! My hubby was amazed with what they managed! The food is what you expect from a 3 star hotel and this is exactly what it is. Our room had cockroaches but the minute we mentioned it the staff did their best to get rid of them! It’s a hot country and no amount of spray is going to get rid of them completely!! Would I return? Yes if I had to but I would know I would have a fab time with the entertainment, would I choose this hotel again out of many others as our first choice? No.
