Came here for a week with my boyfriend, sat writing the review waiting for the bus to go home. Less than an hour away from the air port and easy enough to navigate to thomson reps. On arrival we were allocated a room on 7th floor, I had emailed the hotel before to enquire on an upgrade (I did superior upgrade with thomson when booking but looking at the website for the hotel directly I seen more rooms were available) I paid for upgrade and off we went. Room was amazing. Junior deluxe suite. Sockets coming out of wall a bit and docking station was for an old phone however had towels and pool towels robes and was lovely and spacious. Sun sets at this place is amazing. Just great. Couple of restaurants bars and shops outside, there is more if you venture further but very hilly so we didn't bother. Food is repetitive but as would expect. Thought that the all inclusive should continue and not be have a limit of 11pm on it. On lunch and dinner in restaurant you get given a slip where waiter writes your drinks on it. We seen people hand these in but we didn't- didn't really get it, we ordered water and all inclusive drinks, think that there could be a bit of guidance on this. Think in the restaurant the food needs to be labelled better. Wider range cocktails would be a good idea. Trips we went on poor parque and premium tour. Amazing defiantly recommend but 7.25 pick up in the morning. Leave 4.30 to come home. Fab. Market on a Sunday bus with thomson 22 euros each. Worth going. Teide by night. Pick up 2.30pm and got home around 12.30am. Amazing but long and not many toilet stops for the all inclusive drinks. Lot of space around pool for sunbeds. But at 3pm when looking was a bit hard. Cleaners good. No beach but good views. Pool games going on but no pressure just go and join in if you want to. All very popular. Wide range of people here young couples, families and older couples. Staff all seemed friendly. Entertainment we only watched once so couldn't really comment too much but it was nice when they did it outside too. Romantic meal by the poolside we didn't do. Wednesday evening and have to pay extra but not private really. Didn't use the spa. Would come again if came to this area of Tenerife. Beautiful place.
Great hotel - amazing views and pools. Food was excellent and varied - all inclusive drinks also good. Great service from waiters and bar staff. Only downside was paying for a sea view room, however being on the second floor, sea view was very limited. However, views from pool/bar areas are amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Amazing location enjoyed our stat better than Mexico will definitely be going back, great value for money, lovely staff that spoke good English. Would recommend. We were in our room within 7 hours of leaving UK. Everywhere was so clean. If you like the beach then you will be disappointed, pools were lovely.
This was our first holiday together as our kids are now grown up with there own kids so it was important to me and the wife to find an ideal place, it took us a while as there is so much to choose from but we decided on the barcelo Santiago and where nervous as you get mixed reviews but I'm happy to say this was above our expectations, I could go on and on but to be frank there was no negative, food, drink, service and entertainment where all fantastic and we only wished we booked longer as we only stayed for 7 days but we will defo be going back 👌
Place, views, food, friendly and nice staff, very good entertainment. We spend a wonderful 25th wedding anniversary and will definitely be returning as soon as possible. We strongly recommend .Much above expectations.
I spent 3 relaxing nights here with 3 of my friends. The hotel ticked every box for good food, drink and ambience. We were pleasantly surprised to be given an upgrade to 2 superior rooms, right next to each other. The rooms were spacious, clean and served the purpose well. Bed was very comfortable, didn't miss my Tempa mattress at all. Food was very good, always something to eat but would have been nice if the salad was replenished more often, the lettuce bowl was often empty and some choice of herbs maybe. Wine was ok and it was a nice touch to have a bottle on the table instead of having to ask for another glass all the time. More seats outside would also be a plus, that is one of my main pleasures on holiday, to eat outside as it's a rarity here in England. It did mean a short wait each meal time to sit out. There are a few bars outside the hotel, tried the one with the live music, entertainment was dire and cocktails were 7 euros! We watched the entertainment during the evening, Tina Turner was very good. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends as a good quality all-rounder hotel.
As always did not disappoint. Lovely hotel and excellent food and service. Lovely setting away from the hustle and bustle of the South. Many of the staff still there from previous visits which makes for good continuity of service. Food choices varied and excellent.
Siam park is a must if you come. Food was good. Get waited on. plenty of sunbeds. relaxing and not noisy. some local bar near by with shops. very hilly. views are amazing. staff works hard and kept everywhere clean.
Had the best holiday, and can't wait to return hopefully for longer next time! Rooms may need a lick of paint, but for the time spent in rooms this can be easily overlooked. Hotel is lovely and clean , just perfect!
We stayed at the hotel from 13th-20thJune 2017. We stayed in room 557 which is a twin sea view room, it was a good room with great views of the rocky shores even though basic, like the other reviews have said, you do not need any other amenities. The hotel grounds itself are spotlesss, the staff work tirelessly to keep the area clean and tidy around the pool and in the restaurants etc. There are lots of different areas to get food and drink or to sunbathe, near or away from the pool. We hired one of the beds overlooking the rocks one day and was lovely, but if you're going to pay for it make sure you stay there most of the day. Like other reviews have said, their is lots of choice of food in the restaurant and pool bar however, it is the same array of choice each day. Therefore there is lots of food I like but some I do not want to eat everyday for lunch and dinner... but the food is very very good. The jelly is great. The food needs to be labelled more, if I was vegetarian or gluten free etc. I would struggle to know what and what not to eat. We ate outside in the patio area most days which you have to queue for but for a maximum of 5 minutes even in peak times. The majority of staff were incredible and remembered us and knew our orders and joked with however some waiter/waitress staff were rude and push in front you when getting food or push the food trolleys near you and do not apologise. The customer facing waiter staff who Served us were incredible. Thank you David at the pool bar and Nancy on reception! The entertainment team were lively and had events planned all day every day! The evening performances varied... the mamma Mia night was good but the performers lip synced to the songs and dialogue which wasn't great but still enjoyed the night! This hotel is brilliant and we really enjoyed our stay - only a few minor improvements to compete with other 4 star all inclusive hotels I have stayed in.
