Clean, quality hotel with a professional staff in a convenient location.

Everything was fine. The was litter in the hallways and especially the stairs but it was probably the fault of careless guests and their kids spilling cereal taken from breakfast and discarding wrappers in the hallways.

Extremely dented beds, asked to change room, same condition. Stayed 5 nights bad had very poor sleep quality and killed my back. Want to have fun at Busch Gardens, not recommended to stay this hotel.

I would rate this hotel 3 stars, but I had a sleepless night thanks to a faulty air conditioner that kept changing speeds simulating the sound of a motor boat. I got perhaps an hours sleep. The other negative was that the floor above me creaked whenever the people on the floor above me moved around. I told the hotel staff about my experience in the morniing They made a note to the maintainance dept. but did not offer any compensation. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The staff was professional, but not terribly friendly. My experience may not have been the norm for this hotel, but I can't imagine that I am the first person to ever complain about room 236 at this hotel. The slogan at this hotel is "wake up on the bright side". It should have been "why sleep when there are so many things to do in Tampa". I should of packed more NyQuil. Good Night!

The room was great as far as comfort. It could have been a little cleaner and it's a little old.

Toilet ran a lot. Seems like people live at this location. I felt unsafe going outside they were sitting on the curb by my vehicle.

Very large and clean room. Comfortable and clean bed. Excellent front desk staff. Close to interstate, restaurants and shops.

Room was clean, Beds made up nice... hallways were filthy as well as stairwells. Saw several holes in walls with molding folded back. Sounded like I had a heard of elephants in room above me. Gap under room door so wide I slid my Ipad (in protective case) underneath door from outside in. Walk down the hall and plain as day you could hear every word, every moan , everything going on in rooms. I spent 20+ years in music business & stayed at hotels all the time, this was almost as bad as any I stayed at.. I won't say anything about rude desk clerk other than that. AVOID staying here unless your desperate, have earplugs and enjoy listening to the world through the thin walls, floors and gap under door.

Our stay was awesome!! We stayed there for a family vacation and to visit friends in the Tampa area ,the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful!

This hotel is good if you're traveling on the highway and need some rest for the night or here on business for a day or two. It's not too expensive and it's in a very convenient location, right off I-75. Bob Evans is right next door which is good food fairly cheap, $20-$25 for two people. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and they offer a free breakfast from 6am to 9am.

It was a last minute reservation and I didn't research the site thoroughly. The room smelled of cigarette and the bathtub had some hair in it. Jumped in the small pool near the parking lot so our view was of parked trucks, not appealing but whatever. After a long busy day came back to hotel to a quiet sleep thankfully, as I thought we would hear sirens as we did throughout the day since the hotel is at the corner of a major intersection/highway. Didn't do breakfast because we got up too late at 8:45 and breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. I would not choose this location again, different La Quinta maybe but just not this location, too noisy for me.

Great location...clean... great breakfast! Would recommend to others!

It was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb. The property is old and shows it especially in the hallways. The swimming pool is in the front right next to Highway 60, not real comfortable. But for the price it is OK.

We just needed a "home base" for our vacation in the Tampa area. This La Quinta served well in that role. It's certainly not a resort. It's more like a Motel 6. I don't think it even had a pool. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was adequate, the King bed was great. There was a microwave and mini-fridge and ironing board/ iron. The free breakfast every morning was scarce but better than nothing. Waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, yogurt, and toast. Only about 10 minutes from Ybor City and the aquarium. Maybe 45 minutes to Anna Maria Island. 45-60 minutes to Madeira Beach. If you plan on going to the beach every day you might want to be farther west. Overall, worth the price.

Was in town for a dive class and this was close to my class and at a good price. Good trip, good stay!

I waited to the last minute to find a hotel close to the Fairgrounds and when I did try to find a hotel there were no rooms available at the closest hotels or their rates were higher than I wanted to pay for one night. We then found this hotel that had what we needed for amenities at a reasonable rate for the area. It was a short easy drive from the Fairgrounds It was clean and comfortable and we always enjoy the free breakfast bar. The only draw back was they were out of non-smoking rooms with king beds and we had to take a smoking room if we wanted to still have a king...which we did. The people that make last minute reservations can't always get what they request...regarding this point. Otherwise - all was good.

I needed a room in the last minute. The hotel was clean and the front desk people were very professional.

The staff went out of their way to correct mistakes in booking, both by myself and Bookingagency.

very accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice - liked the waffles

My toilet ran every 15 minutes. I told them about on Jan 8. I was told it would be fixed. It never was. Had a good breakfast. Bob Evans is right next door, so that was nice. A lot of shopping within a couple of miles from the hotel.

Thank you for your review. We sincerely regret the poor impression that was made during your stay with us. While an apology will regrettably not alter the outcome of your experience on this occasion, I do extend it with all sincerity. This level of service is certainly not acceptable and will be addressed with our maintenance team. I hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity
