Didn't like anything about my stay. There was black mold in the tub!!! I was alone and had to wait for my husband to arrive from the airport after 9:00 pm and did not feel safe at all !!!

There was rust on the towels and the towel holder. The doors were very thin and the motel is in a very bad area of town. There were bugs crawling around the walls and floor. Very scary to stay here.

This was the dirtiest, filthiest, most disgusting hotel that I ever stayed in. It was worst than a flea bag motel. On entry to the room, there was a huge dead roach. The intake receptionist was cold and not at all welcoming. The room smelt like wet carpet. Then the toilet clogged so we had to move to another room. That room was even worse than the first. The tub was filthy. The ceiling had mold. The toilet bowl had yellow/ brown rings, the sheet had big holes. I have pictures as evidence. I have NEVER stayed in a Howard Johnson that was this AWFUL. I FEEL LIKE I WASTED A GOOD $100.

From the check in to the filthy room to the check out, it was the worst experience of our lives. No hot water, room was dirty and smelly, water went down slowly in the sink, water dripped from the tub all night, the bottom of the tub was black and the people couldn’t speak English. Everyone was RUDE

When I booked the room thru Orbitz the site said it was the last room available. Immediately upon entering the room I noticed a terrible smell like a combination of vomit and smoke with pine which was probably an attempt to cover up the smell. The smell made me nauseous and my eyes burned. I aired out the room for as long as I could, but I checked in late due to bad weather in my departure city. I noticed two fleas when pulling back the covers. The room is in bad shape with burn marks on worn out lamp shades. The bathroom ceiling has an unfinished substandard repair. This is the worst hotel room I've ever seen and I'm 71 yrs old. I want all my money refunded. PS. I complained to the manager who said I should have asked for another room. I didn't because Orbitz noted I booked the last room. It was too late in the evening to try another hotel and I was traveling by Uber waiting to pick up my rental car after the stay

It is a dive. The pictures of the hotel are not what you see when you get there. The room smells and there was so much noise. I slept with a piece of furniture against the door. I felt better that I was with my dog. The only reason why I picked this hotel was because it was just blocks away from the stadium and I was going to the game. Next time in Tampa, will stay farther away and drive to the game. One night I looked down to see what my dog was playing with and it was a cockroach. Disgusting !! I killed it and couldn’t sleep a wink the rest of the night. Horrible accommodations.

im waiting on my refund. i never stayed in the rokm and had to be relocated. orbits has not called me back yet as promised.

Make it a bit more clean. Take care of the property

The room is dated and the tub is cracking. The breakfast doesnt have ANY meat and the parking lot is kinda dirty. My husband saw a flea and we were completely grossed out. The only good thing about the hotel was the plentiful food places close to the hotel.

Crappy part of town. Orbitz customers get the beat up rooms because of the discount. Front door hard to clise. Bulbs burned out in the room Beds seem kind of worn out

Stayed there for the first time. Area around the hotel is, so, so.

My first stay of one night went well. Room furniture was beat to hell, but room was vlean and quiet.

By far the worse experience ive had. This place was under staffed the poor girl had a myself and someone else to check in and had to put 4 calls on hold! Once we got to the room we noticed the place was gross. The bathtub was disgusting, the shower curtain had holes in it and there was an outlet hanging off the wall. Unfortunately this was my last night in Florida, it was late and most affordable places didnt have a room available. This places simply did not feel safe.

Horrible conditions. Needs updating. No water pressure & rust in shower. Afraid to sleep under the covers.

This hotel is disgusting. The hallway smells like garbage, I had to push the door open after swiping the card, the bathroom tub was yellow. I was put in an non smoking room but the entire hotel itself smelled of cigarettes. There were no towels in the bathroom. I was bit on my knee by some kind of insect! I checked in at 10:20pm and checked out at 10:45pm. The front desk manager who was of Indian or middle eastern descent treated me very poorly. He said he would have to prove that there were bugs in the room in order to refund me ONE night. Mind you, I paid for TWO nights. I said no that’s not fair, I am unhappy with my room and service here I want my entire refund being that I spent only 20 minutes here. He told me to have a seat and wait until he’s done with everyone behind me then he’ll go check the room out himself. Furious, I walked out and came back in with my friends who were sharing the room with me. After he saw us come in together he immediately went to check the room and submitted my refund. I have not received my refund yet but if I don’t by the end of this week I will be doing a complaint through Howard Johnson because this is unacceptable.

Aside from the fact that the person that checked me in knew nothing about the airport shuttle, and the fact the bathroom was just a large room with a closet converted into a shower with no difference in the floor, everything was filthy and/or broken/rundown. There was a moldy smell, the bed was dusty and possibly not cleaned, and various things like the door hinge and shower head were either busted or taped together. All of that is not to mention the may flies in the room and all the roaches in the breakfast area, especially around and on the food stuff. (Also woke up to a pair of filthy used underwear on the outside handle of my door, so that was fun.) Will say the wifi was the best I have seen at a hotel in a while though, so that's something.

great location for food, stores for shopping. easy to get on and off hwy. A/c loud in room.

Very dungy room. The shower was broken, just taking it off the cradle it came to pieces. Was barely able to shower with it in this accessible room. Room had amenities but overall was unclean and very very old.

Bed clean: clean sheets, clean towels all readily available. Room temperature comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Walking up to a "night window" felt awkward as opposed to walking in the lobby. Bathroom was cleaned, yet unsturdy toilet and tiles in floor. Water temperature and pressure excellent. Breakfast was underwhelming. It was more of a Continental breakfast: hard boiled eggs, and a lot of bread goods. Fruit, juices and coffee.
