Saw Lake Annecy on TV and had to go. Picked out Hotel Beau Site and had an excellent week, beyond expectations. Really could find no fault with the staff, food and hotel in general. Talloires is a lovely spot and Annecy itself, reached by ferry boat or local bus if no car, is a must visit.
Very charming and nice place. Hotel clean and well furnished. A piece of paradise on earth. From the Junior Suite, you can enjoy a wonderful lake view! Staff very welcoming and professional. Definitively a place to visit and where to spend a good time with family and in couples.
We spenthere 2 days . We choose to stay here due to its location and reviews of previous visitors. Our personal experience was beyond expectation. The room, Hotel facilities and grounds, and above all warm welcoming owner, and very helpful, friendly and professional staff make our stay a real pleasure. Breakfast & Dinner (The delicious menu) are highly, highly recommended. In one word:Delight !!!
Fantastic location, great service with rooms that were very nice . Lots of nice restaurants around the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Choice of limited vegetarian food but restaurants nearby had a variety of choices.
Love this place, great location super friendly staff and owners. Big recommendation. We have stayed at far more expensive hotels but this hotel has got the edge. Lovely village with great restaurants and cafes at walking distance. We will be back. We only supposed to stay for one night but added extra. Dont forget the beautiful Golden Retriever 😇.
Amazing place to stay near the lake. Not far from the city of Annecy - only 10 minutes drive. The hotel was renovated recently. Rooms are large, almost all of them are "Lake View". Breakfast is perfect! The restaurant is very good with extensive wine card and wonderful cheeses) Owners are super friendly. PS: you can find a cute bonus - Figaro - the dog who is always willing to be petted )
We stayed two nights and paid extra to have the beautiful view we were fortunate with the weather on the day between we went into the mountains we stopped at a ski resort in Manigod. Snow and skiing finished but we had fondue for lunch! The air was so fresh Lovely stay comfortable nice food The door is manned by dog Figaro the retriever very friendly but that is his space Helpful staff
We loved the hotel and the magnificent location. The service was impeccable, the rooms cozy and tastefull, the bathrooms a pleasure, and breakfast with the amazing view of the lake was out of this world!
Really nice hotel with a private garden and lake dock. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Amazing view over the lake. Staff at the reception and restaurant (lunch and dinner) were very friendly and helpful. Improvement points: the breakfast was not so generous. We had to pay extra for eggs. There was a lady who monitored how much food we took from the buffet in order to quicky bring new items to replaced them. It felt a little wierd, like we were not supposed to take too much, even though the breakfast was included and it was buffet style.
My husband had been to Talloires as a student in 1974 and wanted to share it with me. He told me what a breath-taking village it is and he was spot on. We were finishing up a month-long trip to Italy and since we were flying out of Geneva we decided to spend the last two days of our trip just relaxing. I searched Trip Advisor for every hotel in Talloires and we decided on Hotel Le Beau Site. We’re so glad we did! From the minute we pulled into the parking lot we were absolutely delighted with our selection. What a charming boutique hotel it is. The interior has recently been renovated and they did a terrific job - it is very inviting. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake with a gorgeous view! We spent the afternoon sitting in the sun on our balcony enjoying the beauty and tranquility. The room was modern and clean-lined – a style I like very much. The bed was very comfortable with really soft sheets and my husband loved soaking in the bathtub. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. When we asked if we could borrow a fan as “white noise” so we could sleep-in late the following morning they went above and beyond to find us one and even placed it in our room while we ate a delicious meal in their restaurant. Although the following day it rained buckets we nestled in our room relaxing and reading books. We did try to take a quick stroll through the town, which I’m sure is lovely, but we ended up scurrying back to our haven at Hotel Le Beau Site in the downpour. Would I come back or recommend to others? Absolutely!
