Hôtel Beau Site3.0 out of 5.0

My husband and I recently returned from a visit to beautiful and picturesque Talloires, France. We chose Hotel Le Beau Site because of its website and because we heard it was recently renovated. The hotel itself has lovely grounds and a beautiful private beach on the lake. However, the Tournette rooms are noisy and face the main road- they have no view of the lake and they are located at the entrance to the hotel on the main street. As such, if you have your windows open, cars, delivery vans, and garbage trucks, will disturb you early in the mornings and in the evenings.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms beautifully refurbished, modern and coomfortable. No noises from other rooms make for a restful stay. Extremely welcoming staff, doing their utmost to make the stay as comfortable and to your personal wishes. The food is excellent. All top class quality, fresh local produce. We also had diner at the restaurant. Great choice and very lovely dishes with fine taste. Top class stay!
I have just returned from a 3 night long weekend at Beau Site, Tallories. We were visiting Tallories for a wedding. It was the most fantastic getaway and a real treat for us. The setting is gorgeous and the views from the hotel are spectacular, we had breakfast on the terrace looking out at the breathtaking views. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff at Beau Site, made our stay extra special and were so accommodating, friendly and attentive. The private beach and facilities were fantastic and very exclusive! I wish we could have stayed for longer and I would certainly return to this beautiful spot. I am back at work now and have the holiday blues and wish I was sat back on the sun terrace. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
The hotel was extremely welcoming and the décor, room etc was all of a very high quality. Service excellent and the management extremely helpful. Wonderful views over the lake and very well equipped lakeside beach. Extras a little pricey (restaurant, leisure etc). Would recommend this location for a stay at Lac de Annecy rather than staying in Annecy itself. far quieter and yet only a short drive to Annecy.
Very nice recently renovated "boutique" type hotel in a lovely situation and great views of Lake Annecy: Excellent breakfast and apparently the restaurant is good too, although we didn't try it as we were only staying 1 night.
Received a warm welcome, was shown around & told about the facilities. We had a family room bedroom. Space quite small but the hotel building is old & in its original layout so you would expect this. Our view was stunning over looking the lake & the bedroom was immaculately clean with a good size bathroom. Staff here were so friendly & bent over backwards to help you. The bar was informal & had lots of family board games to play. The grounds are beautiful & the area by the lake stunning. Lots for children to keep them occupied-trampoline, tennis, small football area. Annecy is about a 20 minute drive away- go the scenic route which hugs the lake & you'll travel through lots of small villages. Geneva about 45 minutes away. The one thing I would say to bare in mind is the hotel evening dinner menu very fancy & certainly didn't appeal to my kids. There are limited places to eat in Talloires.
I stayed in September 2016 as part of a wedding party. I was blown away straight away as arriving out of my cab to the reception area I have booked a room as a single person which meant I had a double bed to myself LOL One thing I would say is I wish the room had Aircon as it was a really hot weekend that was supplied with a van waiting for me If you going to stay here they might say hello to hotels dog so cute and friendly I want you to take it home Perfect location as it has its own private garden with access to Lake can jump straight in, we hired out the paddle boards for a couple of hours and I went off swimming she's a favourite pastime of mine Beautiful gardens the food was amazing and should I find myself going back to the location I would definitely rebook this hotel
Even if we live close by in Geneva, our stay here made us feel like we were on a true, relaxing holiday far from home. Extremely helpful staff, very clean, big and newly renovated rooms, excellent breakfast and great gardens and quiet beach/swimming area. Dinner at night was excellent, even if rather high priced.
We appreciate a little luxury, and stayed here because we thought it necessary to stay near the Grande Chartreuse museum (which is really a half day trip). The Hotel Beau Site is clean and friendly, but suited for outdoor/hiking people. The room bed, pillows, bathroom etc were just barely on the side of clean and comfortable. Yes, looking out the window at the terrific geology takes the sting away, but we can't imagine ever recommending this to others. The town is cute and very small - kind of hard to find a restaurant open. We did, though, and had a nice local experience. For travelers that like nature, scenery, history and a little luxury: organize your trip to this region by driving through it and sampling the best with some breaks.
We came to stay for two nights from Geneva with our two babies. Elinor at reception was incredibly helpful when we called to make a last minute reservation - she squeezed us into a room with a terrace and provided two travel cots and a bathtub. The view from the communal areas and our room (Privileged Room) was gorgeous, and the direct access to the lake was really special. Rooms are very well maintained, the facilities are beautifully put together and we highly recommend the restaurant. The half hour boat trip was a little pricey but in our view well worth it - the owner takes you out on their beautiful boat and gives a tour of a section of the lake. We can't wait to come back.
