We stayed parents weekend and paid $270 a night for the room. The receptionist was friendly and checked us in quickly. We were given an exterior room by the busy road. Room was clean but had a musty smell. Once we turned the a/c on the visit went downhill fast. The a/c system sounded like a helicopter was landing. We called down to the front desk and she sent maintenance, who came in less then 10 minutes. He fixed the a/c but it only lasted for 5 minutes; and the noise was back. Called front desk and they told us to come back to the lobby and they would assign us another room. This room was an interior room that had been updated. It was clean and quite. Wish they would have started us in this room. We were exhausted and it took an hour and a half to end up in a decent room. Not sure why you would put a guest checking in at 9:30 pm in an exterior room when you had an updated one available with a newer a/c system. On a positive note, my sister and I were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt.

We paid over $280 for a room, an outrageous price for such a dismal hotel. I know there was a football game at FSU the next day, but why gouge customers the night before the game? We'll tell everyone we know what a bad experience we had.

Great location, easy access to I-40, close to the Casino.

Found a roach in the bathroom and the room had a old smell to it.

Last minute booking for game day. Room was as expected for the brand and location. breakfast was better than expected. Desk staff was very pleasant and acommodating. I would book again as a last minute option.

It was a good value and a great location. I would recommend this hotel.

Even if you have to pay a little extra, find a different hotel. The room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking. There was grime on the walls, the beds were cheap and uncomfortable and the carpet was FILTHY!! It is an older building and in desperate need of a remodel or renovation. Too many bad thing to list all. Upon checkout, the staff didn't even ask how our stay was - they knew it was a poor quality hotel. Considering the location, a serious renovation and increased room charge could really boost the bottom line and occupancy for this property. But, unless there is a major change, find another hotel.

On a recent stay to Tallahassee, found this hotel to be a great value for the amount of time spent here. Although the room was not ready to be occupied for early check in, the staff checked us in and gave us our keys so that upon arrival back from the FSU game, we were able to go right up to our room. Convenient to many restaurants right across the street, made it nice to enjoy dinner and hit the hay after along day!

I was looking for an inexpensive motel near a test site. This hotel came up with the best price. Although old, it was clean and it met our needs for a one night stay. It was only 1.2 miles from the testing site. The crew were nice and the continental breakfast was okay, nothing to brag about. Would I stay there again? Yes, for short stays. Did I feel safe in the area? Yes.

Well I arrived late to my room due to delayed flight. Once in my room getting ready for bed I felt something bite my leg. It was an ant. In fact a lot of ants were swarming my carpet. So I changed rooms and then in the new room found dead roaches in the bathroom. At least they were dead. Need new carpet, new paint and is begging for a major overhaul. Location is great.

I had to check in very late due to the time my flight got in, and they had everything waiting for me. The man at the reception desk was very pleasant and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable.

couple bugs in the room. Guy came in and sprayed, and I had him leave the bug spray in the event, I needed to use again. Out side my door, was very load. You can hear people walking etc, talking, and some strange dude that keept saying his was the enforcer and he had a knife to keep everyone safe. Needless to say, I did not open my door to check this dude out. This was the only joint I could find for FSU parents weekend. They clipted me 150 per night. I think the room might be worth 30 per night. Had offers from others to get me some hookers if I wanted one or two. I was with my dad and son, do I declined to take the offer.... Sitting and thinking about all this, was kind of funny.... The bugs did not bother me. Funny as all out when the dude came in and started spraying... Guess you just had to see with your own eyes....

everything was fine

Stay was not long enough to write an essay

On our first day wew had to wait over one hour before we got to our room at 3:45 pm. once there we found the toilet kept running, lights not working in one area as it was not plugged in at the socket that was behind a king size bed. the air conditioner was too loud. They came and fixed the problems. later we were unable to flush the toilet. They came back and said it was now working. we went out with my son and family for dinner as our grandson was graduating from Florida State the next day. When we got back to our room, the toilet was running and our tv was not working. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. We had to move our things to the room they assigned us. It was not a very good day for us. I asked to see the manager before we headed for home and told her about our problems. We had prepaid for our room and was told we would get 15% off our room on our next credit card statement. I feel that with all we went through,we should of gotten the first day free. I will think twice before I stay at another Days Inn.
