When I called to get directions to the hotel, the clerk had no idea where the hotel was located in conjunction to where I was calling from. Sent me in the wrong direction on Appalachee Parkway. The ingress/egress to the hotel was totally confusing and a little dangerous. In fact, it is the worst ingress/egress I've ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast was too costly for the quality (of lack thereof) of the food.

There are not enough superlatives I can employ to express my total satisfaction with this hotel and subsequent staff. My visit to Tallahassee was a delicate and personal one. Room 339 literally gave me the home-away-from-home that I needed to be able to complete my tasks successfully and with joy. The staff was friendly, efficient, and went that extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. I am a super happy camper! I can hardly wait to return.

Clean, Comfortable friendly staff and convenient to the locations involved our mini-vacation. The St. Marks Bicycle Trail was 10 minutes away and we rode it twice for more than 30 miles each ride. St. George Island with its' beach is about 1 1/2 hours away. Plenty of restaurants gas stations and a Walmart within a four mile radius. Iwill probably book a room here the next time we visit Tallahassee.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was generally OK

Excellent stay, rates could be more competitive. Two days stay, leisure trip.

The room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff. No free breakfast, but they have a "bistro" with Starbucks coffee and a small variety of breakfast and lunch selections. Nice pool, but no shallow part for small children (at least 4' deep throughout, other than the steps).

The hotel staff was very nice. Location to the capitol great.

Lobby was recently renovated and the rooms have been painted and have new carpet. Anyone who has stayed in Tallahassee before knows most hotels are old and run down so it was a nice change to have a room that wasn't musty and the carpets were clean. Staff was very friendly. Only issue I have was they now have a "Bistro" were you have to pay for breakfast, and it was not inexpensive.

Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable.

Accomodations were very nice; however, the acoustics were terrible. I could hear every word from the people in the room next to us. I heard their phone ring and could hear there conversations when the air conditioning was not running.

Lobby was nice and staff was great; however, the rooms definitely need updating and carpet needs to be replaced.. Not worth the price, but it was enough to survive.

I checked into this hotel when traveling to Tallahassee for a conference. The staff was not very helpful and did not seem to understand the common questions that out of towners ask. The room was nice, but I changed to another Marriott hotel were my colleagues were staying. The location was horrible for people who enjoy touring a town by foot.

Rooms could be much better. The hotel is nice though.

This property is overpriced. The facility is clean and the bed was comfortable but....for the price the amenities are sorely lacking. No bar and no room service, the "special offer" included a free breakfast but that was more trouble than it was worth. They did provide a WSJ for me to read while I ate my "breakfast sandwich". They also were able to not charge for the "free breakfast" after I produced a receipt detailing the offer. It would be a reasonable value at half the price.

Good location near downtown, easy to get to from the airport, staff was helpful and courteous, overall was a good stay

I booked one room for two nights on [...]for 99.00 per nite. I had to purchase another room when we arrived due to family extra. They charged me full bore rate of 149.00 per nite and would not budge from price.Last time I will stay at a Marriott hotel for business or pleasure. Nice way to treat repeat customers.

This hotel was very nice and the staff was super friendly. Overall I would return.

The location is decent if you're just visiting Tallahassee, but we were there to help my brother get acclimated @ FSU so it was a little annoying to sit in 30 minutes of traffic just to travel 5 miles. The hotel was nice & clean, but don't count on having internet service. However if you're just looking for a place to rest your head and clean up then this is perfect for you.

The room and staff was great, the morning buffet was a little high for what few items there were.
