The accommodation was clean and things all seemed new. They did put us into the disability room so we did not have a proper closed off shower which meant the whole floor got wet in the bathroom. We were not told when we checked in that this was the only room available. Otherwise it is close to an MRT stop,

The location is great the renovated room was spacious and comfortable. No dining facilities when we were there but should be finished soon.

Furnitures are not maintained. Paints coming off. Bathroom ceiling dirty and dusty. Bath tub too deep and no rubber mat to prevent slipping. Weak internet network in the room. Bad customer service.

Nice stay! I booked a standard queen bed room. As I checked in, the friendly staff upgraded to a suite without extra charge. I like their complementary breakfast. different everyday. the location is perfect. very convenient. two blocks away from subway station. close to shopping area. very nice restaurants close by. I will definitely come back next time.

Rooms have old design, too dark, seems not clean enough, stuff do not speak English, and do not like to help

I stayed at the hotel in January 2013 and much of the hotel was under construction. There was a lot of mess to step over in the halls and on the stairs. There was no front door at all. There were some chemical smells and noise from power tools. The staff changed my room due to the smell, so I was well accommodated. When the construction is over, this hotel will be great. It's clean, comfortable, and near the subway and restaurants. It's also close to transportation to both airports. There was some shopping close by and plenty of banks. If you can live with the problems, it's a good deal. Otherwise, stay away until the construction is finished.

Average hotel at a reasonable price. My room at my first stay was nice with window to street with some view. Second time the window was facing a wall, not good.

My visit to Taipei was mainly to attend a trade show; this hotel is located near an MRT station which is convenient to move around Taipei, never needed a taxi. The rooms are small but always clean and well accommodated, just had a little issue one night with the air conditioning system what I think was just a one isolated event. The breakfast buffet was plain but generous; it was a good meal to start a busy day with late lunch. I would recommend this place to non bigheaded business people visiting Taipei.

My room was not pretty, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was accomodating and spoke good English. The breakfast was free, a buffet. Although the food was pretty drab, it wasn't bad. The coffee was really good. The location is excellent, right on a main street and only a block from the subway. I would definitely stay here again and I reccommend it to you. The money I saved was substantial.

Hotel location is good, near subway station. Staff friendly, breakfast is good. room is clean. The so so side is room small, I think most the Asian country hotels are small rooms. beds small and not too comfortable, building little bit old., Well everything depends on the price, the price here compare others is OK, For the value and location, I will recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 3 days for a short vacation with our daughter. It was good to have room for 3 people with 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. Hard to find sometimes. Location was close to MRT - very convenient. No Wifi in the room and the wired connection is on the ceiling - not convenient in this day and age of iPad's. Breakfast was ok - not fancy but satisfactory. I like my food hot - and eveything was luke warm. One more bad thing, which may be a Taipei thing not just this hotel is mosquitoes, as I had mosquitoes even at previous stays at higher class hotels in Taipei. My daughter had several nasty bites on her face on the last night of the stay. Poor kid - not a good way to end a vacation.

Convenient location, free Wi-Fi access, toilet & room are tidy.

close to subway; good price; so so hotel; very old hotel

Very suitable for my four day stay in Taipei. Room was clean, bed was a little small.

I came in to Taipei's international airport (TPE) and took a cab to this Hotel. It probably took about 45 minutes. The receptionist was nice and spoke english well so I got to my room without a hitch. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was a bit short, but I have come to expect that from asian countries. The next morning I had a passable breakfast and went on my way. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the free internet was a bonus.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was clean. My only issue was the bath tub/shower had a very low ceiling. I hwas happy with my stay.

Room was fare clean but the room has incense smoke from the lobby and mosquitoes.
