Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very nice place to stay in Taipei

The location is amazing, next to Dongmen, central to many transfers. The price is right, and you get a very wholesome and healthy breakfast buffet that changes daily. The staff is very thoughtful as well.

NOT REALLY! Good location, nice breakfast that it.

Feel warm, considerate from staffs. Very good breakfast.

Nice hotel, very small rooms. Close to the subway station.

Realy nice hotel, good breakfast, wonderful and attentive staff.

The hotel is great and the staff is one of friendliest I've ever met. The room was just very small and not sound proof. It turned out it wasn't as bad as I anticipated, possibly because other guests were fairly quiet. Other than that, everything else was great.

Nice location in traditional area of the city. Next to Chinese market and I block from Chiang Kai shek memorial. 1 block to subway for siteseeing. Take the bus from the airport. It's easy and cheap. Walk 15 minutes to hotel from bus stop or take metro. Staff has limited English but they try hard. Excellent breakfast with changing Chinese items and standard western items. Rooms are comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Located in the city, but in a local Chinese area. Take advantage of it and walk through the market and to China Kai Shek Memorial. Subway is a short block away to check out other areas. Excellent breakfast with an emphasis on Chinese dishes. Really enjoyed it. Staff very helpful even if their English is weak. They try very hard. Much appreciated. Comfortable rooms. Take the inexpensive airport shuttle to.xinsheng station. Walk 20 minutes from there or take subway to Dongman and take exit 1.

Nice hotel. The only drawback is that the room is not sound proof...

Excellent boutique hotel! The staff was courteous and always went above and beyond to be helpful. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Hotel 73 is good for the traveler with smaller luggage and business travelers. the space is small for couples with large luggage. I like the breakfast and the service. The location is great. The room space is too small for me.

First time staying at a hotel in TPE since my grandmas place was full with other relatives, but I think I'd stay here in the future even if that wasn't the case! Great location: Literally steps from the Domen metro stop that gets you to the Blue line (for TPE 101 and bars) in one transfer stop). Also close to great resturants and also bus lines. Great Staff: Friendly and professional - there to make your stay comfortable. Examples: 1.I asked for a to go coffee cup for breakfast, and I got a to go cup full of coffee. 2. I arranged a shuttle for my early morning flight out of TPE that was before the breakfast opens, and they packed me a sandwhich and coffee to go. Amenities: No gym, but you're on vacation in a place where you walk a few miles a day...ok but you're still probably at a caloric surplus from all the good food. Free laundry machine...enough said when you're staying in a humid tropical island. Ok so room is pretty small, but what place in Asia isn't? especially at that price. So if you have a family or a super high maintenance traveler, suggest looking else where. Was perfect for my girlfriend and I. Would definately reccomend staying here. Thanks to all the staff there that made my week long trip to TPE so enjoyable!

The staff was fantastic! Always helpful and polite. 2 min walk to Dongmen subway stop. Bus stop in front of Hotel. 10 min ride to Taipei 101 on the 20 or 22 Bus. Breakfast inculded was very good with many choices for everyone. I will stay at Hotel 73 on my next visit to Taipei.

I would describe this hotel more as a Love Hotel. They have 2-4 hourly rates for people...mmmmm wonder what happens in 2 hours?

Excellent location. Little market right next door. Nice Starbucks just at the corner, which is across from the beautiful Chiangmai Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. My Room was small & it had no window, but it was very comfortable. Needed, Asked for and received humidifier. Staff were so kind, so pleasant and eager to assist. Breakfast was very good. English was no problem. It seems every one in Taipei speaks English. Buses in front take you to Taipei 101.

Chose this hotel for its location and less expensive price. The metro station is about a 15 minute walk on the far side diagonal of the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, which itself is only a block away.

Room was tiny, but as I didn't have a lot of things to lay out it was adequate. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, DON'T take their offer to exchange currency. Breakfast was substantial with a wide variety of East-West foods. And, if it's raining, you can borrow an umbrella from the front desk.

Price was good [...]Location is really great, it is close to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Park. I woke up early and strolled down to the park, to see many people practicing Qigong and Taichi. At 6am, National Anthem was played with impressive flag raising ceremony by guards. Breakfast was good too. The only drawback was due to the size and location of my room, there was NO WINDOW at all! I suffered certain level of uneasiness.

This was honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Yes, the room was a little smaller than some others I have stayed in before, but what it lacked in size it more than made for in style and service. Everyone was extremely friendly and spoke at least decent English, and the bed was super comfortable. It has a really nice location it isn't too hard to get to the MRT station from where it was. Not to mention pretty close to the Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall which is one of my favorite places in Taipei. Gorgeous hotel, highly recommended!
