Close to airport. Good for overnight lay up stay. Clean rooms. Would stay there again..
This hotel is just a short walk from Papeete airport so it is very convenient if you land late and are waiting for a domestic connection the next morning, can’t beat it, from terminal to hotel is just five minutes (need to go up a steep-ish hill and a number of stairs though). Rooms, especially bathrooms are definitely basic, but the views from the little balcony (at the end of each floor) facing the runaway is fantastic, especially for airline enthusiasts!
Nice hotel close to airport. Contrary to picture no where near beach. Ithe is across the airport. There is a nice Chinese restaurant at the bottom of the hill. T
We flew in late at night and just needed a place to sleep till our morning ferry ride over to morea. very close to the airport but a 3 minute taxi ride will still cost you about $10 usd
What else can you ask for in a transit hotel besides good location and clean room? The airport motel has these covered. The road up to the hotel is a bit dark, but I have found it not dangerous as Tahiti drivers are very good at yielding to pedestrians. The location is literally 10 minute upstairs and 5 minute downstairs to airport, so it is perfect distance wise. Rooms are clean though showers are lukewarm temperatures. I guess with Tahiti being so hot there is not a whole lot of need for hot showers. Nothing to complain.
Title about sums it up. Clean room and close to the airport. Had to turn on the hot water on sink to get hot water in the shower, not sure what that was about. Breakfast in the morning is some bread and juice. Pretty unexciting but it's the closest place you can stay to the airport, and walk to/from the airport.
Good for us to use to catch small meal and a long nap before a late out flight. They also hooked us up with a 2 hr tour of the island . very helpful
Stayed "overnight" for late arrival and early next day check out. Close to airport- $15 taxi ride. Room basic. Wear your shower shoes! Basic breakfast in am. Yummy pastries/bread.
Good and clean!nice location, and it's really close to the airport,
Chose motel for its short walk to the airport. Your basic one-night motel. Walk to airport is short but includes many steps and navigating a steep, rough 'trail' shown in photo. They hold firm to the 2pm check-in but will let you check in early for additional $65.
Walking distance from airport though up few stairs (like 20/30 steps) and a short up hill passage. If you have heavy baggage you'll sweat a lot though! Perfect for backpackers or if you leave baggage at airport. Overall it serves its purpose. Huge family rooms with 3 sinks, 2 showers and 2 toilets ! Good chinese/tahitian restaurant walking distance (5 minutes). They have only one hair-dryer on first come first serve basis borrowing. Had to go to other room and ask for it since the lady would keep it for the night (...). Bring your own travel size if you do not want any hassle. Breakfast was ok, plenty, grocery store pastries... Added bonus: sunset over Moorea pictures from terrace.
This is a no frills hotel but it was clean and the rooms are air conditioned. It is conveniently located across from the airport and on the bus route. The breakfast is European style (roll and fruit) but sufficient. I wouldn't want to spend my entire vacation there but for coming in and out at the airport I wouldn't hesitate to book a room.
Perfect for one night stay to catch the plane the next morning it 's located across the street from the airport although it required some steps to get up to.
The hotel was very convenient to the airport as flights were limited to New Zealand and we had just finished a cruise. Nothing as it relates to amenities at the hotel but it was very clean and we could walk to the airport the next day. Basic needs for overnight stay. If you are walking to the airport, better be in shape for a not so smooth downhill walk and lots of steps.
You can see the hotel from the plane while taxiing on runway. View of the sea and airport from hotel balcony is great. Checkin is efficient, rooms good size, clean and comfortable. You can walk the approximately 300 meters up hill (with reasonably sized bags), but the heat and humidity make it harder. It would have been easier to carry a rucksack as you need to negotiate many steps. Breakfast was included and was good. You need to ask in reception for a tray of dishes with bread and butter.
Easy to get to hotel right next to the airport. We arrived at midnight and check in was smooth and quick. Stayed only one night as Moorea was our destination. Easy walking distance, especially if you do not have a ton of luggage. Nice European style breakfast to get you up and going.
Its location adjacent to the airport makes it convenient for transfers to early morning flights. The rooms are very basic but spotless and well-maintained. The staff is professional but tends to highlight the things not permitted at the hotel vs. what the hotel can offer.
Right across the street from the airport. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast included.
This hotel is harder to get to then I thought. I had read this in other peoples reviews but decided to be stubborn and walk with our luggage there. As two people in our mid twenties we were even a bit tired after hauling three suitcases up a bunch of stairs and a steep hill. To add to it on our way back to the airport I slipped waking down the hill and tore a hole in my pants. I am kicking myself now bc a cab ride would of been cheaper then now replacing those pants. For the hotel itself, it was chean but very basic. There was only one sheet on the bed. No blanket. I was a bit cold and uncomfortable sleeping. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, spoke great English, and very informative! Breakfast was basic but good enough for 5:30am. I would recommend this hotel for a overnight layover but that's about it. Served a good purpose for 12 hours.
Easy to walk to from the airport (5 min), although it is all uphill. The elevator was broke when I was there, so I had to l carry the luggage up the stairs. Had a cockroach in the room, but not too surprised about it. Nice view of Moorea. The staff were really nice, but not too knowledgeable of the market area. I would recommend ONLY as a stayover from a late arrival in Papeete.
