Friendly staff, good restaurants close-by, spacious rooms
I have stayed previously solo and had a fantastic room. Made a reservation a good deal in advance and got a much lesser room for much more money. I had to unplug the fridge because of its noise. Just a letdown. The breakfast staff were fantastic, but that breakfast was cold like it had been sitting around and we were there at about 9 ish. With only 1 other table. All in all, just didn't live up to my experience previously or other 4 Star hotels.
Staff was super friendly. Location was perfect for me. Room was extremely charming.
The building is beautiful and the hotel is in a vibrant area of downtown. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the public areas and rooms are very clean. My only complaints are that the water pressure was really low, and that our room was short on some supplies (out of kleenex, and stocked with fewer towels than there were people in our room). However, whenever we asked for anything, the staff brought what we needed immediately.
Very central. If you want to park yourself, you will have to pay cash only, across the street. The rooms are amply sized and clean.

Loved the look of the hotel, and the room was Beautiful. Only complaints were, the bed squeaks a lot. For a junior King suite I expected better. Also we could hear the person next door through the bedroom walls. L
The place was really nice with a very upscale feel to it. Very clean everywhere and a great front desk staff. Best of all pet friendly! Not just the kind of stupid pet friendly like a lot of places where they set a weight limit on what dogs are allowed.
My wife and I wanted to get away from our home for a few days. The hotel is a hidden gem in Providence and was perfect for what we were looking for. The location is good, convenient to several excellent restaurants and PPAC and Trinity Rep, even tho both are currently closed due to Covid. The staff was very good, taking care of any needs we had. The hotel is small and intimate and had a nice atmosphere. The gym was good-sized. I would go back and stay again.
This historic hotel is charming and old school. The staff was very responsive. Our room was large, the bed comfortable. The only problem was that the HVAC equipment was on the roof right outside our window. It was quite loud all night night long and very disruptive of a good night's sleep.
No parking available thru hotel, not even at discounted price. Contracted psrking for rental car was $25/day, too expensive. Hotel room was a Jr Suite, but looked more like a low budget hotel standard room. Bathroom smelled uncleaned. Towels were not replaced because staff and management encouraged sustainability. Bed was worn and hard. Location was ok.
A classy little hotel with nice room/comfy bed.The staff were very nice, breakfast was good. I'd like to go back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside seating area.
