This is a solid choice at a very good price iin Sydney. It was roomy, had a nice little kitchen and we had a queen and two singles. The place was pretty clean, though had some leaks in bathroom. One of the best parts was its close to Circular Quay and its easy access to the ferries and to the transport at Kings Cross. They also had a nice little continental breakfast bar.
By far the most friendly and amazing place we have stayed on our trip to Australia, cannot recommend enough! Brad and Martin were absolutely amazing making sure we had everything we needed and more. The personal touches were very much appreciated (chocolate...). The 3rd floor apartment had an amazing city view and was an amazing base to explore this fabulous city. The stay was so awesome that we ended up booking extra nights here. 100% recommend to friends and family!
We stayed here between 27th of November and 3rd of December. The staff bent over backwards for us. Ben the manager was great the day we were leaving. He allowed us to store our luggage and gave us a front door key to access the lobby because we had to wait around until late afternoon for our airport transfer. Asif (I hope that is spelt correctly), went above and beyond every single shift. We had the most to do with Asif as he generally had the shifts while we were there. Nothing was too hard and he would always check that everything was good if we saw him in the lobby. Awesome customer service Asif. There was also another team member who was extremely helpful but I didn't catch his name. We had an apartment and whilst we have stayed in some ritzy hotels (The real Waldorf in New York as an example), the accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was extremely spacious, the bed was comfortable and the only things we could complain about are so petty, they are not worth mentioning. They do need to look at the pool area though it is looking extremely tired and could do with an update. It is by no means unusable though.
We really enjoyed staying here and Asif and Brad at the reception only made our stay more enjoyable. The hotel is close to the CBD and hyde park is just a walk away. If you're travelling with kids this place is for you.
Stayed two nights after a long cruise. Overall a resonable extended stay option, and would rate higher, but there are things management needs to work on to get 4 or 5 stars. This review is based on our stay in unit 207 (studio). Location: The location is nice, one block from hop on hop off bus stop and two blocks from Royal Botanic Gardens (very nice for walks or jogs). There are a few restaurants nearby, and the location is a 5-10 min Uber ride to anything you want in downtown Sydney. Nice quaint location near the busy city. Property: this is a private residential building that offers serviced apartments (does not offer services like a hotel), and front doors are locked. After checkin you are given a keycard that opens the front doors the rest of your stay. Front desk staff was pleasant, but desk closes at 5:30pm. Rooms are nice and big, reasonably appointed for the price (full kitchens, nice bath, etc). Nice wide hallways in corridors. Note, the main entrance has 12 or more stairs to climb so if handicapped or have trouble carrying your bags this may not be best location (perhaps there is handicap entrance but did not see one). The lobby area is in desperate need of updating (lobby bathrooms are very worn and need updating). Did not use the pool so can not give an opinion. My main gripe about this place is when I booked the room through hotels.com, it said there was free wifi. This was misleading as you only got limited free WiFi that lasted about 15 min per day. This place should offer free wifi. Review: The reason this is only a 3 star review is as follows: 1) lobby update required, 2) noisy birds roost on outside ledge and very loud starting at 5am. 3) wifi situation (this really challenged our ability to make plans each day, but fortunately the hop on hop off bus provided free WiFi which salvaged our ability to plan out the day).
walking distance to King cross station but also walking vicinity to City. buses too can take you to various parts of city Staff very good, especially Fred .... handle all requests with graciousness. however breakfast could be a little better
A well run friendly establishment. Staff go the extra mile to help. Good central location. We would definitely stay here again . Thoroughly recommended. 😎😎😎😎. Short walk from all the main Sydney attractions. .
Really enjoyed our stay at this well-located apartment hotel. The room was great with all the facilities you would expect of a serviced apartment. A 20 minute pleasant walk into the CBD and a brief walk up the hill to Kings Cross. Loved the little neighbourhood this was located in. A very obliging, professional manager who went out of his way to make this a comfortable stay. Look forward to staying here again. Highly recommended!
Well located. Many fine restaurant are close. Walkable to ferries at harbor, the train stations and bus systems. Hotel has very friendly helpful help and is very clean. Very secure also for safety. Excellent coffee and breakfast foods in the coffee shop. Room large. Well placed sofa chair Picnic table, not cluttered. More than enough storage for our long cruise luggage. Coffee sufficient for light meals and stay in nights. Shopped Aldis. They had good deals on microwaveable foods Sufficient space in bathroom. Clean spacious and pleasant . Well located, city very walkable from this location.
Rooms were large and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms are really quite which is great for people traveling with children. There's a small pub downstairs next door where you can grab a quick beer or wine after a long day. And there are a number of bakeries/eateries within a short walking distance to grab breakfast. Parking for $30AUS a day was a real steal compared to everywhere else in Sydney. Wolloomooloo is a great district, but its a twenty minute walk from the main attractions. Not a problem, just something to note if you're traveling with small kids/elderly.
