Firstly may I say the staff were just the best, what one would expect from an apartment stay, helpful, patient and courteous. Whilst I was not the one to foot the expenses I had noticed how frustrating it was that the stove facilities for a families use was not working to its best capacity, (did not heat or cook properly) food was wasted at breakfast time- kids are more fussy these days I think unfortunately. What was needed to enhance this experience did not happen for our breakfast eating purposes. Whilst our stay was classed as short stay I guess certain rooms are kept for that purpose, but I am sure the price is the same (reasonable for Sydney so they tell me) there for the condition of tables and side boards where the "laminate" was pealing off was annoying (to me) because it caught my eye every time. This is minor, perhaps petty so a good thing if you can ignore. On a more positive note, it served our purposes for two female adults and two children, beautiful room, snug beds and adequate size kitchenette if wanted to use, fully stocked to ones purpose. Easy to walk to everything that we needed to attend to especially the Opera House. We have stayed here before and would again.
Room was more than adequate for my needs. Found all front desk staff to be polite and went out of their way to assist in directions to where I wanted to go. It is not the Ritz but neveretheless I was happy. Bedsheets were clean...tiles in kitchen, floor, could be cleaned quite easily with a bit of orange oil and a stainless steel scrubber, just had a few black marks...maybe cleaner could be shown how to do this. Central to inner city and train stations. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Definitely good value for money (for Sydney) and great location but place is a bit run down and could improve on cleanliness. We were on second floor and it can get quite noisy especially on Saturday night due to night life in the area. Couldn’t extend check out for additional 2 hours. I would definitely stay in Woolloomooloo again though. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants at the Wharf, also to Botanical Gardens and the Opera House.
In looking for a place to stay in Sydney while the Vivid festival was on, we wanted good value for money and not to be to far from the center of the city. we found the Waldorf Woolloomooloo online and it looked OK. As it ticked all the criteria we were looking for, we decided to go with it. The room was large and had a good configuration for a family of 4, Queen bed and 2 single beds. Its was furnished nicely. It had good amenities in the bathroom, washer and dryer, large bath and shower. It had a little kitchenette minus the dishwasher (where the hole was - only cosmetic). It had a lovely little balcony to sit out on after a days sightseeing. Overall, it was a positive stay with the only issues being a hard to get onto internet and not much data and a few minor fitting issues and the shower had a slight leak which went out onto the bathroom floor (easily fixed by putting the bath mat down - minor). I would recommend this hotel as other than a few minor issues, it was a relaxing stay in a nice area. The hotel staff were helpful; and friendly.
This was a really good location for us and we enjoyed walking through the Botanic Gardens to the Opera House and the Bridge. We were pleased with our light airy room which had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was available onsite -gluten free available - but there is also the option to walk up the 112 steps to Potts Point where there are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as the supermarket.
This hotel is well located near the Botanical Gardens. It has a great variety of restaurants nearby and it is in a nice and peaceful area. The best part is that it is a short walk of the Botanical Gardens. You walk thru the Botanical Gardens, enjoying the trees and nature and then, at the other side, is the Opera House. My family and I really loved this apartments and they were really neat and well maintained. It has washer/dryer, stove top, microwave, mini fridge. Only bad thing was WiFi was limited and no supermarket nearby. But with all the restaurants around we didn’t mind.
This apartment building was in a great location with quick access to most of Sydney's iconic landmarks. The 2 bedroom apartment that we stayed in was enormous. A little expensive, but with plenty of space.
We were a party of six, spent three nights here, had adjoining rooms. Can't fault the place, a little expensive but worth every cent. Rooms large, amenities clean, staff pleasant and obliging. This was our second stay and we'll be back again
We’ve just spent 5 nights in one of these apartments and I really can’t fault them. Very reasonably priced. Very spacious and clean. Perfect location. Out of the city centre but really easy to cut across the botanic gardens to get into town. Nice continental breakfast. The staff were lovely but not obtrusive. Despite it not being a full service hotel we got clean towels every other day. We had a washing machine in the apartment which was very useful indeed. There is a petrol station and convenience store close by to get provisions. Next time I come to Sydney I will rebook here without even looking elsewhere. Thanks for a great stay!
I would recommend this hotel, it’s great value for money. Our room was extremely clean and very well decorated. The staff are really friendly. One lady on reception went out of her way to help us with information. I was very impressed!
