Room was small but for an overnight stay it was fine. Comfy bed and clean room. Great location to the city area and darling harbour region. Staff were polite and helpful. Relaxing area for a cafe style meal would stay here again.
Location of this hotel in Darling Harbour is main draw card. My room ran along and behind the lift well so was very noisy during the night with the lift continually going up and down, room and bathroom very small, bed was comfortable.
Stayed 5 nights for a conference. Very close to Darling Harbour where the conference is held, within 10min walking distance. Great bars and restaurants close by. Room is a bit tight but what you would expect in the middle of Sydney.
Stayed for 3 nights by myself to attend a conference. The room was small but adequate as I was not there except to sleep. I could not fault the cleanliness or the facilities but it is rather expensive and there is no free wifi. I asked to be allocated a quiet room after reading reviews about noise and eventually was given a room on level 5 which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the water was switched off to the building by Sydney Water at 3 am for some type of emergency on the day I left. This meant I was not able to shower or get a drink (and take my medication) before I left shortly after 6am to travel home. The management contacted me to apologise and gave me a $50 refund.
This hotel is fairly standard for IBIS brand with fairly small but comfortable rooms. There is a small café/bar on the ground floor and you are also spoilt for choice in the surrounding area. The showers are a little small if you of a larger frame and the view straight into banking offices is not very appealing.
Found rooms cramped. Breakfast forgettable. If a cardboard tray with hard bacon and bread like leather with a hard fried egg thats cold is the standard then will not return to this place. Have stayed here previously with no problem but not again.
Stayed one night, hotel has good location, rooms are on the small side, but okay for a short stay. Pre booked on line, but when rechecking on line found room price greatly reduced on the day of checking in. Thought pre booed price charged quite expensive
This was our first visit to Sydney and we stayed at Ibis on King Street Wharf for 4 nights. The location was central and we were able to find our way very easily. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. The bathroom was small but adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to entertain some guests at the snack corner/bar. Will we come back again? Definitely!
We stayed two nights as had a harbour cruise to attend at king street wharf. We have never stayed this side of Sydney before, but we loved it. Close enough to walk to pitt street mall and Chinatown, and a lot of restaurants on the wharf Rooms are small but only in them to sleep, we will stay here agsin
Good clean rooms, least cost option, good location, no major issues, very clean, bathroom basin too small, (sugest hotel replace these as there is room too do so.) Ideal hotel for short business 2-3 night stays, very practical, one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Not suitable for longer stays
