ibis Sydney King Street Wharf

It was 3 night stay for me at this hotel ,must admit the stay was pleasant. The rooms were small but for a business visit, you would likely need a place to crash-in after your long day. This hotel serves the purpose of convenience for both stay and mobility (as it is located very near to a train station and darling harbour ).

This hotel is in a great location to Darling Harbour and the ferry and Wynard Station . The hotel has everything you need for a couple of nights stay, but not enough cupboard space if you wanted to stay longer.

Best location, a short walk to famous Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay where foods can be found. room very clean and tidy just like ay other Ibis hotel, although a bit tight, but just to sleep, it is okay.

I am at a lose as to what people expect. This place was perfect in every way. Tidy and spotless. Bed comfortable. Perfect location. Double glazed windows so you do not hear the traffic. Room small but still able yo have suit cases open. We had corner room with 2 windows. Lovely. Checked in early and 11am check out was perfect. This is our new place to stay when visiting Sydney. We walked everywhere. 30 seconds to Darling Harbour wharf. Loved it.

Very friendly and basic hotel in the Accor group. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Hotel close to all facilities in the Darling Harbour precinct. Easy walking to the CBD and ferry services. This hotel does not offer full restaurant services but plenty of coffee shops and eateries located nearby.

Chose the Ibis so we were only 100m to King St wharf for a dinner cruise. As expected, room was quite compact. Only 1 seat, and minimal desk space, but suited us fine for a single night stay. 5min parking at door, then directed to $55pn car parking under building, which was easy. Coffee bar in foyer is adequate, but we went to larger cafe next door for bigger breakfast. No real noise from traffic, despite overlooking the Western Distributor. We would stay here again, but not with suitcases.

After being upgraded before we arrived we thought it would be a great stay. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. No parking unless you want to pay $70 per night, no drop off point. Lifts were noisy all night, after one night the basin leaked water everywhere so they moved us from a level 7 king bed to a 2nd floor disabled room queen size. only one coffee mug in the room very disappointing weekend I realise IBIS is the budget side of Accor but this certainly tranished the brand.

Very overpriced for a microscopic dog-box of a room with non working shower and a claustrophobic room with tiny port-hole like windows. Featureless and plain. Don't stay here unless you like living like a sardine.

We chose to stay in the Ibis King Street Wharf hotel due to its proximity to the place we were working the next day. We booked at least a month in advance. I knew the room was going to be small, but I didn't envisage that it would be so claustrophobic . My husband and I had a case each, but had to keep them closed most of the time due to lack of space. The traffic noise began at 5am and the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The room itself was clean, but the passageway needed vacuuming and the walls were marked. I believe it was poor value for money. The Ibis Kings Wharf is close to the CBD, Barangaroo and many cafes and restaurants.

the hotel location was amazing, right on the edge of King st Wharf, however the rooms are small and the hotel overlooks the freeway, while there are double glazed windows you still hear traffic noise from about 5am. There is no 'things to do in Sydney' information in the hotel, however the free wi-fi was a bonus and a saviour in this instance. There was a small cafe in the hotel serving snack meals and coffees and a small bar also. Staff members were OK, not overly friendly but I guess the price and location are the biggest winners here.
