Not much to complain with this hotel as there’s not much service given. Upon arrival, there’s no “welcome” feeling from the front desk staff. (No eye contact no greetings) all I got was “passport and credit card please “ Room itself was small compact but clean. Has got pretty much you would need from a hotel. Special “thank you to the housekeep tho” this ibis hotel is probably one of the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed. Very concerned about the front desk staff as they are the first people guests have contact with. Somehow they show no interests in welcoming their guest upon arrivals, we can sense they have no passion in what they are doing. Very disappointed as this is the first ACCOR hotel that makes me feel this way.

Small and simple room, tidy and clean enough for my one night stay for business. Location is good, you are best to have a good pair of walking shoes to visit Darling Harbour, or further such as China Town (great food), or back towards central Sydney and Circular Quay. If you head back into the CBD, start going north from the hotel and you'll find escalators to a bridge and underground walkway to Wynyard Station and George St. As work was paying, I was more interested in location but if it was at my expense I'd be concerned with value for money. Yes this is Sydney where all accommodation is expensive but...Overall, satisfactory, nothing spectacular. A generous 4 stars from me. Would be 3 if I was paying.

Not sure where to start! Within 10 minutes of getting into the hotel room we heard Simone having sex in the room next door. Paper thin walls! The beds are shorter than normal. I’m 5”9 DVD my feet were at the end of the bed. Shower curtain was mouldy. Only 1 towel each. No hand towel. Rooms are tiny but I expected that from an Ibis but this was really small. Not even a wardrobe. No room in bathroom to put your toiletries. We had a wheel chair access room and several times when we walked to the bathroom we accidentally bumped the green button which opens the bedroom door. Too bad if you were were not dressed! You could not lock the door from the inside. Good things? Location is perfect. Close to king street wharf and Burangaroo. I know Ibis is suppose to be cheap but there are places to stay in the city for less money where you would get more. Definitely won’t be back.

Spent the week end at this hotel. Firstly when trying to put into GPS the street it didn't recognize this hotel in Sydney and when I rang the hotel to clarify the actual Sydney suburb the reception couldn't tell me. Then when we got to the hotel the room was a shoe box. I paid >$200/night for a queen bed (Chinese new year week end) which I couldn't walk around. It was on a corner of the building and the shape of the room was tapered or cut off reducing the room size. I didn't have room to open my bag and I had to put my wifes bag under the bed so we could get to the side of the bed. You had to close the bathroom door as the steam from the shower sets off the fire alarm. Just to top it off the car parking cost another $55/night. One good point was it was handy to darling Harbour and the Rocks. I will never stay there again with the room sizes unless I was by myself.

We stayed here for five nights. (four planned and one extra). The staff was fantastic. Our cruise was delayed a day and even though they were sold out the extra day we needed, they contacted other places to help us. Eventually, three rooms opened up by noon (I suppose from people coming in late from our same cruise boat). It all worked out well. The staff was always VERY friendly and helpful as in also calling taxis and making sure they were there on time. The hotel is in a great area. Just a block off the wharf where there are many great restaurants, bars and things to do. (Also a great coffee / breakfast place half a block away) This is in a business area so at night it was very quiet. Rooms are small, so if you are looking for a Marriott or Hilton type of hotel, this is not it. We needed a

It’s ok for short business visit. Room is bright & clean. However, too compact for comfort. Reminds me of hotel rooms in Japan. No much hanging space, no drawers, no room safe. Shower is tight too. Fine for one person stay but not recommended for couples with a lot of luggage. Location is great so can’t complain as business traveler since I am just walking distance from plenty of restaurants & the harbour.

10 minutes from metro station, smalll but clean and quiet rooms, cleaning services, smiling and helpful employees, the place is nice and affordable. Only breakfast is a bit disappointing compared to other Ibis hotels but that's sufficient, I'll go back here next time.

I spent 4 nights and it was great! bed is super comfortable, severall pillows and you have a pillow menú if you need any extra! The room is super spacious not so much the bathroom. My view was the freeway but it´s ok, didn´t spend much time on. They give free coffee, milk and sugar and there´s a kettle along an iron. Breakfast is great! you can choose 3 options between food and beverage. Yogurth is excelent!! They gave me an ealy check-in wich I was super greatfull for! It´s just 1 block away from the Darling harbour and 10 blocks from the opera House. You can walk the main points of the city and there´s a hop on hop off right on the corner. Definitely coming back :)

Had four nights here and having read some previous reviews, I wonder if we stayed in the same hotel. On the 7th floor our room was spacious and well equipped with hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board and safe. Staff were all excellent. We have no complaints. Room was not noisy and the lift came without delay. Location was very close to the harbour with restaurants all around if your did not want to use the busy harbour front. A shop across the road provided us with our essentials If you want to be close the harbour but don't want the noise, this is a good choice of hotel The staff were very friendly and always helpful

OK so I am here now. Quiet. Good location, staff are good, rooms clean, facilities good. Tea, coffee, and ironing facilities in room. Gets a yes, I will be back. Right close to the restaurants. Sky News on TV
