Excellent location, very clean, very quiet. This hotel is literally attached to the Halifax airport via a breezeway. Booking was easy and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Hotel and guest security is a priority with extra precautions in place. Excellent value for your buck!
Staff was super and helpful. The rooms are very clean. They have a laundry facility for guests which was good for us. Lots of parking.
The entire trip, with early arrival at the ferry in NewFoundland, plus the 8 hour trip makes for a long day. It was nice to offload from the ferry and have a relaxing hotel room in minutes.
For those unfamiliar with North Sydney, it's at the water's edge of Cape Breton with a massive ferry service that travels to Newfoundland twice daily. It's a charming and friendly small town and our experience at Hotel North was an added bonus. It is impeccably clean with brand new furnishings and helpful staff. We were fortunate to have a spectaular view that overlooked the bay. There is a restaurant serving local and Newfoundlander cuisine that's quite pleasant with quite friendly and enthusiastic servers.
