Not great. Except location everything was very sad. Bathrooms were like train washrooms. Rooms were like dorms. Sad interiors and very suffocating.
had a great girls weekend. great location and great room. will book again
The room was small and did not appear cleaned as it should have been. There was a roach in the shower which made my wife leave the bath room light on over nite and made sleeping uncomfortable. The location was great but I would not recommended to a friend.
Good value close to everything with very friendly and helpful staff.
Good location, 10 minuts by walk to City Center. Big and clean room. I enjoyed to stay there
Not a lot of extras as part of the hotel. Location was excellent for touring and getting around.
During night time have rubbish cleaning, too nose.
Hotel was nice, needs a little TLC but in a very good location, many shops and places to eat. i would stay again.
Many maids couldn't understand a word of English and just nodded. You better like Asian Food............cuz you're in ChinaTown. Big mall across the street had everything. Go there. Transport was easy. Friday nights were impossible--screaming and drunks abound outside till like 4, and garbage trucks each morning between 3 and 4. Otherwise good staff, and well preserved and comfy. Room card key worked maybe once every ten or 12 times. Brush it against something like cloth.
Had a nice clean room with bath and a great sized shower. Would have preferred the room to be warmer and did ask for help to make it so. Also had one light bulb burned out and asked to have it replaced and same evening desk clerk said he would replace it and never did come to room. There were 4 steps leading down to another level where our room was and no ramp for the registration person to transport our bags except by hand carrying it, which he did, There were no face washclothes either. I guess Aussies just rub the bar of soap over their bodies to bathe. The guests could get their own towels off of a cart left in the hall. All in all it was not a bad experience had my sister and I not been sick. Actually I would stay there again. Cleanliness is the most important.
everything is good except the noice of truck loading/unloading during 02:30 a.m.
This hotel is nicely located near town center and free shuttle bus stop. Many attractions of tourists' interest can be easily accessible.
An old hotel, needs updating Bathroom was clean, carpert needed shampooing. It was large room with additional bunk beds in it. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is the heart of the city on the outskirts of China Town.
Having booked a double deluxe, I was assigned a 3rd floor room which required me to carry my luggage from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. After notifying the receptionist that I had heart problems, she kindly changed my room to the 2nd floor. I've stayed here several times and each time the staff has always been helpful.
The hotel is rather ordinary from the outside but we picked it because of the location, a couple of blocks from Darling Harbor. The room was very basic, but clean and roomy. However, when we settled in and walked around the room we noticied that the carpet was wet. On a closer look, we saw that the chair in the eating area was filled with water from an overhead leak. We told the desk person about this and they immediately responded by relocating us in a bigger ande nicer room./
Anybody complaining about the noise in this hotel should avoid booking a room in the heart of Chinatwown next time (surprise!). Bus stops are two minutes away and City Market with a good food court is just opposite the hotel. For the thirsty crowd, there is even a bottle shop two doors away. Service was very friendly, and the only negative thing to mention is the dicey cleaning team. I had nose bleeding in my second night and had to sleep in the stained linen for the rest of my stay:-( Apart from that, Aarons is good value for the money
the picture on the [...] website shows 2 double beds in a big room but we got 2 single beds in a tiny room. Staff is friendly but not the management. Fantastic location and walking distance to train station and the harbor. Lovely market in front. The bar in the hotel was not as nice as described.
The hotel was very neat and clean the staff were very friendly and helpful. I attended training and shopped and ate at local resturants. It is central to trains, walking distance to lots of attactions. I have stayed in many hotels and was happy with the services staff and room.
i am used to "very selective" hotels, but they were sold out. We tried this one and were more than just positively surprised. The location was great and the stuff was very helpful and accommodating in every way. the rooms are very simple, but absolutely clean with phone, fridge and tv.
Very affordable yet quality kept hotel in Sydney. Near enough to CBD and Central train station. No frills place keeps the cost down. Nice large room and large TV. Bathroom could have been better, but oh well. Very helpful staff as well. Right across from the large Paddy Market.
