We had a wonderful careless weekend at one of the big suites. Everything was taken care of in a very discreet and yet attentive way. There were sweets and fruit to welcome us. The rooms are spacious and elegant with all you need. High quality products in the bathrooms. Coffee machine and tea kettle all high quality. We had a room looking over the street and didn't hear any noise from outside. Restaurant very good. Breakfast buffet enormous including champagne. Location couldn't be more central. Staff very friendly and absolutely professional. Chapeau!

A great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, my room was more like a mini suite, kitchen sink included. My only very minor issue with the hotel is the somewhat slow service when it comes to getting a drink from the bar, the staff take the order very quickly, but it regularly takes 5-10 minutes for a drink to arrive. Also the £200+ a night room rate and having to pay €22 a day for breakfast which I feel should be included. A very pleasant stay, just hoping we can arrange a better deal for our next visit in 2 years time.

Compared to other hotels of the chain, it falls a little bit behind, but to be honest, I found it refreshing that the staff seemed to be real people and not the perfectly trained robots you find in a lot of hotels. When I visited, it a bit of a trip down memory lane, as a student I lived nearby, the ball of my dance class was there, as students we sometimes went there for breakfast (if we could afford it and usually that was after a night out), so it was fantastic to revisit again. The location is great and I was very impressed with how quiet the room was, given that the Maximillan Strasse can get very noisy, especially with the boy racers driving around the fountain and blasting their stereos or people leaving bars and clubs on Maxstraße. Also a superb restaurant and the bistro is quite nice. I enjoyed my stay but if I'm traveling for leisure, I usually have the dogs with me, and my travel agent assured me that they don't allow dogs, so I guess I won't repeat it. It was still very enjoyable.

We are driving through Germany, from Munich to Baden Baden via Füssen, Augsburg, Baiersbronn. After our stay at Steigenberger Hotel Drei Mohren I wish we had made the decision to stay more than one evening. The hotel itself is located in the city center (don't get discouraged when you first arrive Augsburg, the box stores and newer construction give way to a wonderful and charming main drag through the historic part of town, Maximilianstr. The building itself dates back to 1495 but the rooms are thoroughly modernized with very slick and functional cabinetry and closets. Spacious and airy (with operable windows - room 308 overlooks Maximilianst), our room made every other stay on this trip pale by comparison. Front desk staff was exceptionally warm and helpful, squeezing us into one of the best-reviewed restaurants in Augsburg, Perlach Acht, at the very last minute (more on this restaurant in another review). Parking is available behind the hotel. We hope to have the opportunity to stay in Augsburg again, and for a longer period of time. If you are ever out this way, I can't recommend Hotel Drei Mohren more highly.

Perhaps a little dated, but I stayed here last year while on business travel. Excellent hotel and service staff. The breakfast is lavish (champagne!). The location is quite good, with many restaurants in walking distance nearby. Garage parking is available around the back.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. It has an old world charm but yet the interior is new, modern and very plush. The staff at the check-in counter are warm, friendly and helpful. There is absolutely not one thing that I can fault about this hotel. They also gave us an upgrade on their own initiative which was really nice. It's a pity we were driving through the city and could only stay for one night. This was our first visit to this city so I'm not sure if other hotels in this city are good. But this hotel is world class standard and I would highly recommend it.

Some friends had their wedding in Augsberg… And selected this as the host hotel. After spending a few days in the town I came to realize it was by far the best hotel in town BY FAR. Several other Wedding guests were forced to select other hotels after this one sold out… And all were disappointed. On the other hand everybody that stayed at the Drei Moren loved it and loved their beautiful well appointed rooms. It’s a beautiful old building that seems to have been gutted on the inside and re-designed as a very chic hotel blending old and new. I had room 101 - perfect and very large with everything you could want. The staff was very attentive and I can’t say enough about how everyone was very impressed with this hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful, our room was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We had a ton of closet space as well. The only minor things were small, like the nespresso machine didn't work. One thing that was over the top was breakfast. €22 per head was extravagant given top local restaurants work out to about that with drinks for dinner! As there are a lot choices within walking distance it's fine, I would recommend not getting trapped in this one.

This property is fantastic!! It felt first class from the moment you step into the lobby. The room was spacious and the staff was professional. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend. Buffet breakfast is nice and includes an egg chef who will make any type of eggs you'd like. It costs around 22 euros. Also, parking is in the parkhaus behind the hotel and it costs 19 euros per night.

I recently stayed with my family in this hotel for one night. Even the rooms are small, they are stylish, comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast was outstanding. Also the location of the hotel is really good, there are plenty of small cafes to sit outside and enjoy a summer evening. The Riegele Biergarten is only a 15 minutes walk away. We had a great time in Augsburg.
