Terrible service we ever had. Room is okay, bed not comfortable, pillows are small, conditioner not working properly. Upon arrival we get 2 small bottles of water for 2 person for 2 days, it was nothing in the room, no coffee or tea. I ask on reception next day and they said we can buy another bottle of water for €4.00. I also ask for hot water and I was sent to the bar. In the room was just 1 small soap bar, no shampoo or anything else. I was told that they probably forgot, but nobody brings it. Room was not cleaned at all on the second day. Stuff was not polite. Some of them even rude.
It was close to the river walk leading to all kinds of restaurants and the shopping district. It has a pool which was great for our kids, although I don't think the other hotel guests were happy that children might want to swim. We weren't aware "pool shoes" were mandatory since there wasn't a staff member present upon entering the pool area. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was conscientious about its impact on the environment and offered options to lower one's traveling carbon footprint while staying at the hotel.
This is a great hotel if you are visiting Ulm. I was very surprised at how nice and comfortable it was for the price. We had a great time exploring the city and visiting family. We enjoyed the Piano Bar, and the spacious room. I will say the AC was not very strong but overall the rooms are clean, well maintained and spacious. The shower was great offering a waterfall option. Will be back next year for sure!
