After looking at all the hotels/Gästehaus in the area, I am glad we chose this hotel. We travelled with our 8 year old daughter. We had the Residenz Suite, which had a kitchenette. Our room overlooked the city from up on the hill next to Schloss Hellenstein. Breakfast was great. They had a wide variety of things to choose from. Loved that the cleaning crew set up my daughter's stuffed animals in her bed. It brought a huge smile to her face! Such a great touch touch. We had dinner in the attached restaurant one night. Lunch on another day. Delicious food. But that is another review 😉 Do consider this hotel! It is well worth it!
Hotel is located at the top of the hill, next to the old castle, providing you with a nice view of the town. In door parking is located directly under the hotel, accesible by an elevator. which is in snowy conditions very convenient. service and food are what you can expect in this class of hotels. breakfast well taken care of, some coffee to go and croissant for the early starters. health club, sauna, located at the first floor.
Stayed for two nights for a conference. I found the staff extremely helpful and forthcoming and the rooms very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel feels new and solid while the interior of the rooms are comfortable without sparing the luxuries, lots of hand finished glass and wood surfaces. Bed was a good size too! Would definitely stay there again.
Nice location above the city. Room size sufficient, most rooms come with a desk and separate coffe table and chair. for an upcharge of 20 Euro rooms come with a nice view on the city. Very nice fitness and wellness area. Good food in the restaurant. NIce bar area with football with football screens covering all major football matches. Nice beergarden with afternoon sun. OVer all good service levels in all areas. PRices get crazy once they are fully booked. Good deals generally during the weeekends.
Very clean room, great location, fanastic breakfast, great room design. Hotel has all possible amenaties - extremely satisfactory stay. Looking forward to returning in the future. Great for business stays.
Attended a German friends wedding, at the hotel.... Aside from the fact they messed up my booking and charged me extra, then provided me with a "double room" - 2 singe beds pushed together and having the audacity to tell me its "normal", when my travel partner had a proper double bed on her own.... Its a nice, modern hotel. Was fixed after some "consultation"..... Comfortable modern, clean and compact room with free wifi, fridge (not turned on), safety deposit box and a great comfortable bed (once changed to an appropriate room)... Large bathroom with expected amenities. Very nice. Fantastic breakfast. Extensive and very worthy. Car Parking costs 8 Euros per night. Not included. Overall, a solid hotel in a nice setting overlooking the city. Service needs to improve at Reception, however this may be a language difficulty. If I visited again, I'd stay provided the price was right.... Recommended with some reservation.
A fabolouse hotel made for very large groups and still look small. Top standard on the top of the hill beside the old castle. Very attentive staff on all positions. I came walking up the hill thinking is nothing. It was tough with suitcases. When entering the lobby with beer in my mind, a staff approached to me saying: sit down and I will get you a beer before you checkin. "You look like you need one." Thats being attentive to the hotelguest.
Staff professionalism, amenities, and location, are top notch. It was extremely relaxing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Ulm. At the end of the day, we looked forward to returning to the hotel.
Just went there for a 1 night stay. Staff welcoming and supportive. Internet ok. Good Parking. Room´s convenient and clean. Venue - all easy to access. Flexibility / Willingness to adjust to personal needs / requests.
A modern well equiped hotel, with great views over Heidenheim from the Restaurants. The rooms are all very similar and fitted out to a high standard, as you would expect fro a modern chain hotel. The Restaurant is relatively good, especially in Summer if you can sit outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast is very comprehensive and of a high quality. The biggest problem is getting a room. It is nearly always fully booked, which is not surprising, since Heidenheim really does not have much to offer in the way of good hotels. This also tends to make the hotel pretty expensive at peak times.
