We absolutely loved our stay at Glass on Glasshouse to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Faultless accommodation that lived up to hefty expectations after checking out the website photos. Simply stunning. We hope to be back again and to stay much longer next time!
Spent three nights here in this idyllic place with tremendous views. I had expected great things and was not disappointed. Got a lot of walking done from here as well as a visit to the zoo. Grant and Darrell were great hosts. Breakfast supplies were excellent and I was pleased that towels etc were replaced each day (not automatic in this type of accommodation). Good shower, comfortable bed, we were very happy here.
Sorry everyone, 5 more stars. I say sorry as i get annoyed scrolling thru a bunch of 5 star reviews, like SURELY there's something i need to weigh up. Nope. It's aaaaalll good. No restaurant onsite, but a cafe for breakfast/lunch if you need it after the complimentary breaky hamper (extra props for catering to our dietary requests). Plenty of places close enough for dinner - however if you're from the city you may consider it far. Room is faultless- so clean! Like, crazy clean. Most places you stay you still find stray fingerprints on glass surfaces or a bit of dust. Nothing. For the sake of a balanced review, the showerhead could use a good CLR-ing. Some of the holes blocked or shooting out random directions. In saying that it didnt affect the feel of the shower at all as the rain showerhead had 40 other holes that were flowing fine with rainy goodness. Hosts a delight! There if you need them but not all up in your business. All in all, brilliant!
What a find, we have just had the most amazing 3 days. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Grant and Darrell. The accommodation is stunning, the floor to ceiling glass walls offer incredible views of the mountains and wildlife, kangaroos and all manner of birds were our constant companions. The grounds were well kept with native species and a lake and the mango trees were full of fruit. The fridge was exceptionally well stocked with enough breakfast items to last our stay as well as everything you will need if you decide to stay in and use the cooking facilities, such as oil, salt and pepper etc. Everything was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. To lie in the whirlpool bath and just wonder at the views so relaxing. To be able to use the washing and drying facilities was a bonus along with an iron and board. Grant and Darrell have thought of everything and the warm homemade blueberry muffins were devine and a lovely extra touch. Thank you so much for a perfect stay Jane and Robert
We spend 2 nights at Glass on Glasshouse Mountains. It was the perfect place to relax, to enjoy the quite beauty of nature and to go for some walks and hiking tours. The accomodation was perfect - the owners have thought about anything!! Every possible stuff you could need during the stay (like sunscreen or mosquito spray) was provided! Adorable, modern furniture :)
Had a night away here and loved it. The amenities were exceptional, the items supplied such as breakfast, tea, coffee, cooking supplies were great and Grant was lovely to deal with when booking. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.
We were visiting from New Zealand for our 30th wedding anniversary. We'd seen a travel article on the Glasshouse Mountains in our local paper and the found this establishment online. The accommodation and the location are outstanding. We had a very warm welcome from the owner and were then left to ourselves. Glass on Glasshouse is very private and the view is sensational. There are three standalone cabins. They're beautifully designed and in great shape. The floor to ceiling windows right along one side of the cabin are incredible. We stayed four nights and the fridge was well stocked with everything for continental or cooked breakfasts. There's a gas BBQ on the deck which we also made good use of. Handy location too. We did some Glasshouse Mountain trails in the area plus a walk in the Kondalilla National Park. Australia Zoo is only just up the road and Noosa is an easy drive. Lots to do in the area. Highly recommended. We were sad to leave.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - lovely deck for afternoon nibblies and breakfasts! The luxurious spa bath was great after some Glass House Mountain walks. The grounds are nice and private with stunning views of the mountains. Treat yourself - its worth every sent. Location is great with easy access to the many mountains within Glass House Mountains area and many other attractions!
A very relaxing and luxurious accomodation. Very suitable for romantic couples getaway. An amazing view across the mountains with happy sound of birdsong to compliment. Everything is here for your convenience and a very hospitable and accomodating host. Bring barbecue food because you will not want to leave for dinner.
We had a wonderful night in the beautiful cottage in a truly awesome location. Everything was beautifully maintained. A gorgeous spa bath with a view, a super comfy bed, and a well equipped kitchen with BBQ. Everything you could ever need. The owners were really friendly and offered excellent advice about what to do nearby. Will definitely be back!
