In a word, this place is a dump. While the lobby area is nice enough, it did not make up for the water pressure dropping so low that only drops trickled out of the shower head. Fortunately we had bought a case of bottled water as we had to use it to bathe. The bedding for the sofa bed was horribly worn and stained. The room was large, which was good as when we discovered that lock on the door did not work we were not enthused about leaving our belongings unsecured. Honestly, Orbitz should be ashamed for even listing this property on their site.

Shower rod was barely hanging on to the tile that was being pulled out. Tub would not fill up as stopper is bad. Could not open closet door as one side appeared to be broke.

We only needed a hotel room for a night until we checked into our rental house. Nothing fancy but enough to keep us satisfied.

At the time when i needed a nice and inexpensive hotel this was a great place.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. And that is the only positive thing I can say about the hotel. Our first night was spent in a room with a loud air conditioner that forced rooms connected to ours to turn their TV's up loud. We could not sleep without the air conditioning on because of the loud TV's next door. The carpets were stained, the walls were bare with terrible color choices for pain. The room had virtually no decorations and furnishings limited to a flat screen TV on a bare three drawer chest, a bed with barely a frame, plain nightstands with basic lamps and a very plain desk. No art on the walls. The bathroom was very basic. The hair dryer mount came off the wall while my wife was using it. The only provided amenities were two quarter sized soaps that were 1/4" thick, a small 1 ounce bottle of shampoo and conditioner and that was it. We asked to be moved to a different room and was accommodated without question. The only enhancement was a small love seat and coffee table that were very basic. The carpets were still stained. The air conditioner was better, but still very loud. And the bathroom was the same. And though the hair dryer mount was coming off the wall, it stayed attached while we were there. My wife and I were told about this hotel because it was close to where her grandmother lived. And one of her relatives had stayed there and said it was nice. We were in two separate rooms and they were not nice. There were repair issues all over the hotel...

Price was right but hotel needs renovation Room was dated and staff was just ok paid parking was a joke

A reasonably priced hotel, that is clean, quiet, and everything worked. Close to the beach. If you only have so much money and would rather use your money to do things, this is the place

First and last time there, shower broken, water from shower runs into hallway rug, bad smell like wet rug, had to walk on wet floors, sheets clean but I caught a rash from one or bed bug? Check in reception was sarcastic, the only one nice there was the Maintenance guy and the bartender, I've rented in cheaper places that was better than here, I wouldn't recommend AT ALL

Terrible shape Air conditioner never turned off. 64 degrees in room and still running tho set for 73 Very loud Ac Dirty room No ammenities in room and have to pay resort fee Not worth the money. Glad it was only one night. Front desk check in only bright spot

This charge is so much money for a snack and forth

The Sawgrass was rather deceiving as it is a beautiful hotel from the outside. The lobby, restaurant, and lounge are also beautiful, modern, and inviting. These spaces would be good to have a meeting or to do work if you didn't want to be in your room. However, our room was dingy and dark. We had to manipulate the airconditioning vent because it was blowing what felt like very dusty cold air on our heads/faces while we watched TV from the bed. The room did have a small balcony which was a nice feat - it overlooked the pool area and outdoor seating area - also very pretty. Maybe it was just the room we were in with the very uncomfortable bed, lack of amenities and very soiled carpets, but I not stay at the Sawgrass again unless we were put in an updated room (if those exist).

Arrived very late at night after a football game, check in was easy and the bed was very comfortable. But the next morning I was awakened by my neighbors and their kids in the hallway screaming and playing with loud toys right outside my room. When I stuck my head out to ask them to move along, I was shocked to find they were not in the hallway but in their own room next door. The walls are so thin it sounded like they were in my room! Also there were no extra pillows or blankets in the room, we called 2x to request more blankets but they never came. My room tip is to request a room away from anyone else.

I don't get it. It's Christmas every year at the same time etc but this place decided to run with less staff during the holidays. I get it. It's a holiday but .. really Thx for making my holiday memorable Slow service and no towels is not a way to go.

Great staff. Safe and comfortable stay would recommend to anyone. Room carpet was stained but other than that we enjoyed the room amenities and especially the view from the balcony onto the pool area.

Don't recommend at all...bathroom was filthy the minute I stepped in ..the minute I checked into the hotel I was asked to be checked out and I found another cleanier hotel

This hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy the beach

Staff is great. Did not like the clealiness of the first room we checked it. its was no issue changing it after talking to the hotel staff who conveniently change us to the room right next door. No issues with the new room. Bed was a little soft in my opinion. Decor is not the most recent but is really correct. Be aware that there is no coffee station in the room, nor water provided Hotel has a great location. I would not pay full price for this hotel but it is a great value deal with the discounted / sale Rate

The hotel is in an excellent location as far at restaurants and stores. The hotel is 30 plus years old and has gone through several owners. It is showing it's age. Carpets need replacement and rooms need attention. One half of the blackout curtain in the room was missing. The best part about the hotel was the staff. All excellent and very helpful. Maintenance has been neglected. Bar and dining needs attention.

They was quick nice and funny smiling polite and the rooms are soooo nice and spacey The pool view they gave me was the boom checked out in check back in a day later they gave me a nice morning time sky view

Carpet is very dirty..towels are small and worn out..
