Convenient location ... Hot tub, total necessity after being on the slopes all day .. Ski rental right in the hotel .. Underground parking .. Only thing to say that may be somewhat negative is the room was a little dated ... But for the price, a kitchen, and being in the middle of everything the hotel was fabulous!!!

Front desk checked me into the wrong room after making me wait 30 min for the wrong room to be ready. Had to move well after I was settled into the wrong room.

Great location! Great staff! One recommendation to travelers...get a room on the creek side, not on Main Street. The snow plows can be noisy. The restaurant connected has the most amazing bacon. Again, the staff of Wyndham -especially Lauren - is awesome!

My gf and I spend 3 nights here for a short skii trip. We were allowed to check in to our room early which was great and hotel includes free 24hr movie rentals. The studio we checked out was very spacious and clean with a nice view of Breck. Only negatives are: staff took a while to get our checked out equipment one morning and the room itself was very very dry. Not sure if we missed a humidifier somewhere or we just weren't used to the climate.

So we had to check in late on Thanksgiving day and miss time with our family on Thanksgiving due to "plumbing issues" instead of just putting us in another room. When we were able to get in our room the whole carpet by the bed and by the kitchen was soaked, not fun in socks, I guess this was due to the earlier plumbing issues. Our toilet did not flush and they offered for us to "go down the hall" when we needed to go to the bathroom. This lasted the first night and maintenance came the next day and fixed it. It worked for literally one flush and then didn't work again, so for another night we had to use the restroom down the hall instead of in our room that we paid for. A plumber came on the 3rd day unannounced in the morning. The staff didn't let us know when we would be expecting a plumber or that we even were. So we had to stay in our room while he was there and late to the lifts. So finally on the third night we were able to use our own toilet. We got nothing from the staff, not even "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". We were never offered another room, even after I requested one twice in two different days. I didn't receive a discount, which I think if you can't use a bathroom that you pay for and are forced to leave your room in the middle of the night to use a public restroom calls for some kind of discount. I really like this place and it sucks that this was our experience.

All comments should be viewed in light of the price of other facilities in the area. With that in mind, we got what we paid for. 1. No A/C. OK Colorado nights will be cool or cold, but the rooms can get up to 80 deg during the day. Get the river side rooms (East) or interior rooms if you want to open the windows, otherwise you'll get the traffic noise of the main drag (West rooms) 2. All rooms needed a good scrubbing - just given a "lick and a promise". Curtains dirty, floors and rugs needed a good cleaning. My sinuses clogged up as soon as I walked in. 3. No daily maid service. Extended stay rooms get "cleaned" at the end of your stay. Staff will provide towels if you ask. 4. Be prepared for tight quarters in the under-building garage. Supports every second parking space make navigating a challenge!

Nothing about this hotel met our expectations. The room was not what we were told we were getting. There was a port-o-potty outside our window. The closet in the room was being used to store parts of tables so we couldn't use it. The hallway floors had trash all over them. The room didn't have any of the amenities or the balcony we were told was included. The shower had no water pressure. They didn't stock the stuff to make coffee. There were only two pillows and when asked we were told we couldn't get extra pillows, towels, or blankets. When we asked about the room not being what we were told it would be they said that staff member must have been mistaken and that's all. Despite there being only six cars in the garage the whole time they wouldn't change our room. This place was beyond overpriced and the furthest thing from a resort. The staff was rude and not at all interested in customer service.

Went here with a friend for a weekend of hiking by day and going out in the evening. This was a perfect home base location. It was close and convenient walking to all the restaurants and shops in Main Street along with the grocery store and the gondola. We got a studio which had a Murphy bed and fold out couch. I have to admit I thought the couch was more comfortable than the bed. Everything else was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need and we had a nice little deck to sit on and listen to the river flowing by. The room is a bit dated but everything was clean and very convenient. Will stay here again for sure. Good value for the $$

The room we stayed in was okay, but not what we booked. We were supposed to have a fireplace and balcony, but our room did not. Otherwise, it was a nice place and a great location.

it was really nice room. Close to the meeting center.

I was thrilled by the location, decor, and cleanliness. I seek a quiet room and self-sufficiency whenever I travel. This condo-hotel provided me a great base point and I was very happy on all fronts. Price was good for off-season. I would return and be happy to make more memories.

I've stayed at a few other resorts in Breckenridge, but I was looking for something less expensive since we were only staying for the night. The River Mountain. Lodge had availability and I understand why. We got to our room and it wasn't very clean. There was a hair ball on the carpet by the bed as we were setting down our things and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. The rooms definitely need an update. They were not great looking (kind of made you wish you'd just stayed at a Super 8). No air conditioning, no movie rental (the machine was broken), the bed was hard as a rock with pillows you had to fold in half to prop up your head. Overall, very expensive for what you get. The only positive was the location. It was right near Main Street and activities. Wouldn't stay here again though. Makes more sense just paying a bit more.

River Mountain Lodge is located only a half block to Main St. Breckenridge where all the shops and restaurants are located. Also just a short walk to the free bus to the ski slopes. I've stayed there a few times, and both rooms were very clean; and the front desk staff are always friendly and hospitable. There's a bar & lounge area, swimming pool, workout area & underground parking. Great place to stay!

The room is small. The 2 beds occupy most of the space, and there is small open area left. However, the room is clean, and we manage to be comfort there. There is one restaurant in the basement, and the food is average. We ate there once when it snowed heavily one day. The rest of the time, we walked to main street, which is a short walk, and there are many shops and restaurants available. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very convenient. In front of the hotel across the street is the free bus stop, which we took to go to Beaver Run for skiing. The ski shop is in the basement, and we rented the ski gears there. They gave us 25% off as we are hotel guests. Overall, it was a good value stay for us on a budget. We strongly recommend to our friends.

My brother in law and I booked this room due to its location to the lifts and town and put 2 guests assuming we would have 2 beds upon arrival it was a single standard bed and when trying to get a rollaway we were told that was not possible due to the fact the room was the size of a closet, we even offered to take out the table in the room and tried every day to get a room with two beds to no success . Instead one if us had to sleep on the floor every night! Not a good experience

fFiendly staff and available 24 hrs. Great location.

Literally ski in ski out! Rooms are great , there are three hot tubs and very convenient parking (not to mention free)

Very easy access to the slopes, end of the day the last trail brings you right across the street! The room was great, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Clean facility and walkable distance to everything!

A ski valet!!! What a treat to not have to carry our skis back and forth to our room! Some of the reviews we had read talked about the rooms being very small. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our rental room. Having ski rental right on the premises was another totally unexpected surprise. And their rates were terrific! Skiing down at the end of the day and walking only steps to the hotel door was wonderful! And the 2-fors apres ski helped end a great day on the slopes.

We had an Upgrade, a whole House with 3 br instead an Appartment with 2 br. It was close to the Lift we can Walk this Little distance. Everything was Great only the bed was a little Bit to hard. First we Would like to stay closer to the Hotel but at Last ist was such a nice house and we use the Car for Dinner, so ist was really Great for us. Thank you for Great Service and mailing us an evening before that our flight was cancelled because of too much Snow. So we can make a change and took a flight early in the Morning before the Snow comes.
