This is a hard review to leave, as the units are individually owned- that said, none of my issues are with the specific decor or furnishings within the unit. We recently stayed for a week to enjoy summer in the mountains. The location is pretty good for walking to town- you are taking a decent grade down to town and up on the return trip...however, that's the mountains! Pros: The location was good The buildings are well maintained The price was not outrageous Cons: -The neighborhood pool was a joke- far away and super small. It is advertised as "indoor" but only 3-4 feet can be indoors and the rest is out. -The buildings only have one hot tub- this was ok during the summer, but I can't imagine this is sufficient during peak ski season. -There is no A/C.. now, the mountains never get really hot, but we were uncomfortable at night and had to purchase fans at Walmart. It was also hard to leave the windows open as all the bedrooms look down to the parking lot- we heard everyone come home and every car lock beep. I'm giving it three starts because we still managed to have a great week using this as our home base. I can't say that I would return.

could use some updates, the kitchen sink was difficult to turn off and in garage low shelving so beware so kids don't hit their heads. loved they had a washer/dryer close to the lift but if there is little snow, still need to walk to lift nice we could walk to town. the hot tub and pool was crowded but that is expected.

Our favorite part about our condo was the radiant heat in the flooring. It was clean and the information communicated about entry was clear. There was some confusion about the number of double beds in the listing versus in the condo, so be sure to verify.

The key cards we were given deactivated for absolutely NO reason. I had three separate key cards that were kept away from my keys, credit cards, phones etc. When I got back from skiing, not one of the key cards worked. My cell phone had died because of being out in the cold, so I had to sit in my car in the garage for 30-45 minutes trying to warm up my phone so I could call for new keys to be brought up. When I called, it turned out someone else in the complex had the same problem. Yet, the person I spoke with was totally unapologetic. If we had filled this place to capacity, there would not have been enough linens for all of us. There were no spare sheets or blankets for the fold out couch (which we wanted to use) So we also had to call to have those brought up. There were also not enough towels. Finally, the garages are TINY! So, if you are planning something crazy like driving a four wheel drive car in the mountains in the winter, don't plan on parking it in the garage. If there are two groups in your party with tahoes/jeeps/suburbans, be sure to factor in an additional $30-$40 to park in town somewhere because you both won't be parking here.

Our small band of winter vacationers truly enjoyed these accommodations. Close enough to the Snowflake lift to get to the slopes and shuttle bus stop when we are done with our day on the mountain. Our condo had a bedroom & bath for each couple. The place was clean and very comfortable for just lounging around after a hard day of skiing/snowboarding. We enjoyed using the shuttle bus service that is provided, for our treks into town, where we experienced great dining and trinket shopping.

Unit D10 Wow where to start we stayed in Unit D10 for two nights in July 2015 for $150 a night plus taxes and fees. I will start by saying we booked directly through the Los Pinos at Wyndam website so we did not know what unit we were staying in until we checked in. That being said, I think some of these units are rented by individual owners. Our friends rented their unit (A23) at the same property through Airbnb.com and it was amazing! This is a great location and the people at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly and helpful but because some of the units are managed by owners and some by a property management company consistency will continue to be a problem. My suggestion is to rent a specific unit to see reviews and pictures. Do not leave it to chance like we did. Here were the highlights of our stay. • The hallway leading to the unit looks like a backroom leading to a utility closet. As we walked down the hallway we thought maybe this was a joke. It was no joke. • The door to the unit sticks and come to find out you need swipe the key twice and shove it open. This was consistent throughout our stay. • Once in the unit we were standing in the bedroom and heard a big crash only to find that light fixture in the front hallway of the unit fell from the ceiling and shattered. Luckily no one in was in the hallway at the time. • The living room is furnished but with weird stains all over the couch it was too creepy to be comfortable. • We did not use the kitchen on our visit but it seemed well stocked and the refrigerator and freezer worked fine. • The bed was ok and there were extra pillows provided which was a nice touch. The comforter and blanket were both worn and should be replace if you are going to rent at this price point. The condition was something you would expect at a Super 8. • The bathroom was in good shape but the toilet seat did not fit the toilet and shifted every time you sat down….gross. All in all we would stay in this unit if it was $99 a night but with so many other great places in town at the $150 price point we were disappointed to say the least.

My husband and I stayed for Christmas 2013. First of all check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. So we ended up driving around until we could check in. This takes place at another location, not at the Wyndham hotel like we were told over the phone. Perhaps we just got an unqualified receptionist, but he could not tell us where the hot tub was located, he also told us our unit did not have a garage. Which it did have. The parking bays do not correspond directly to the building number, so finding your unit and parking bay takes a while longer. The unit itself was fine. It was clean, with all the amenities one expects from a basic townhome. We thought, based on pictures that all units had fireplaces, which turned up to be incorrect. (Another question the receptionist was not able to answer). The unit was supplied with more than enough fluffy towels, which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchenette also had all the basic supplies needed to cook a hearty meal. Fridge, freezer and dishwasher was slightly older models, but in perfect working condition. The tv was an older, smaller unit, but this did not really bother us, since we came on vacation to get outdoors. The complex is situated against the mountain, with a bus stop right on the corner. There are two ski lifts within walking distance from the complex, which also helps a lot. The free wifi was better than most hotels we have stayed at, which made uploading vacation pictures a breeze! The driveway and parking bays are not heated, however they diligently plowed daily. There are no bars, restaurants or hangouts real close, one has to either drive or take the free bus. It definitely was not the worst place we have stayed at. I personally feel that with better training on staff, and some cosmetic updates to the units, all of the snags we experienced can be sorted out.

My brother and I stayed at Los Pinos in June of 2013, late in the spring season. We essentially had the place to ourselves. We opted for a 2 bed/2 bath condo...this was our 2nd time here. Two years ago we rented a 3 bed/3 bath and brought more people and had a great time. The condo is super well located, just a few short minutes walk right in to the heart of downtown Breck. The condo was clean and organized with linens, toiletries and even laundry detergent (not always common in condo rental). They have a quick local free shuttle (used it in 2011, not this time). The hot tub is fine, nothing special but great at the end of the day. We preferred our 3 bedroom condo from last time (all of the units are a bit different in furnishings and layout). Thus unit though fine for us lacked in the furnishings department. The beds were soso and the couch, TV, etc were very old and run down. The unit was very warm, luckily in this floorplan our bedrooms were down in the basement where it was much cooler. There is no way to turn off the heat, its on year round (we called the front desk to discuss this year and in 2011). Bottom line: they are huge units in an excellent location at a great value. We will continue to stay year after year and just hope we get one next time that is owned by someone with better furnishings.

We really enjoyed our stay at Los Pinos - we had unit D10, which was 1 bedroom and large enough for the two of us. It was clean, well appointed and homely. We had a heated garage which was great for drying ski boots over night. It is not ski-in and ski-out, but the Snowflake lift is not far away and there is a complimentary shuttle service that you can call anytime to take you to any lift or even to a restaurant in the evening - it was a great service and the staff and shuttle drivers were very helpful and friendly. The downsides for us were - the room didn't have a view so it wasn't a great place to spend a day if you are not skiing. there is no radio so we couldn't get up to date ski reports, and we couldn't control the heating and it was far too hot all the time and we had to have the windows open when it was minus 10 outside to cool the room! That said, it was a great place to stay and we definitely plan to return.

We stayed in C14 at the end of the Los Pinos block - great price for 10 nights up to and including Christmas. The house was really well appointed - no problems through the stay. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good sized sitting room, diner, kitchen meant we had plenty of space for two adults and two kids. One bonus was our heated garage had a door into the house, whereas others only had separate entrances. For the days when we hit the road to other resorts, being able to unload the car in the warm was a real bonus. Our house was the closest to the on-site hot tub, making for a short dash from the front door. The upper village pool, to which we had access, had 3 tubs and a pool, and was worth the short drive. If there had been more snow, it may have been possible to pick your way on skis to and from the lifts and runs: however, the Snowflake lift is only a short walk away and was our preferred start and finish point.
