This is an excellent hotel, placed in a very convenient place, close and next to the main attractions of Strasbourg. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, rooms are spacious, breakfast is very rich served in cosy rooms on the 1st floor. Should I come again to Strasbourg this is the hotel to stay at. Walked from the train station which took about 10-15 minutes. Hotel is conveniently located to shops, restaurants and cafés. Shopping mall, Galerie Lafayette is across the street. It is an old hotel but well kept and professionally managed. Staff speaks English and are pleasant. Our room overlooked the street but it was quiet. Breakfast was not included. For 16€ each we had an excellent breakfast of jambon (ham), cheese, croissants, assortments of bread, fruit.... One can also go out to get a nice breakfast as well. We had a pleasant two day stay.

Super central location convenient to sights and great restaurants. Above all well suited for business travellers (ie: internet access that works, room safe etc). Good breakfast and great service and obliging staff.

Stayed here at the start and end of our trip. Asked for quiet rooms and we were placed on the side, which worked well (and gave us a balcony). Air con works well. Spacious room. Unusually for France there is a kettle; also a mini bar. Bath with shower over in a good sized bathroom. Travelled to Strasbourg by train and took the tram to the hotel - C leaves at station level and you walk up from Homme de Fer or you can do as we did and get A or D from below the station which stop just after the hotel. Tickets easy to buy from machine. There are online offers well below the door price. They don't include breakfast but there are lots of nearby places for French breakfast which is much cheaper, or you can add breakfast if you want. Excellent location for walking round the old town and lots of choice for restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly.

It was a long walk from the train station but worth it when we got there. Beautiful hotel and within walking distance to everything in maintain area like Notre Dame Cathedral. Really nice location and nice walking area. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again

Great location - easy walking to the river, old town and cathedral. Underground secure parking at Kleber, about 50 metres away, with reduced overnight rate for hotel guests (18 euros instead of 33.60). You must get a second ticket from hotel reception which you insert in the machine after your first ticket. Warm and friendly welcome from reception staff who were helpful and knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. We had requested an upper floor room and double bed when booking and we were given both - top floor in fact, with a view over the rooftops. The room was larger than average, clean and airy and the bed was large and comfortable, with 2 pillows each. The bathroom was a little tight for space - especially the toilet which was pushed into a little corner - but the shower was strong and hot and the bathroom was beautifully clean. Our room was in the eaves and had reduced head height in one place - it proved to be no problem for us but it's something to be aware of if you ask for the top floor. Surprised to find we had a kettle, mugs, coffee, tea and sugar in the room - very happy! You have to ask for milk though. This is an old hotel with character and the door keys reflect that - they are large with heavy fobs and are best left with reception when you go out. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice, including eggs and bacon if you like a hot breakfast. The croissants were the best we've ever had - beautifully fresh and flaky. We would stay here again very happily.

The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was plentiful, staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Le Petit France and the Cathedral area in both of which you will find a wide choice of restaurants and tourist shops.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian area close to the Cathedral, Place Kleber and other tourist attractions. We took a taxi from the central station and were dropped at the front entrance to the hotel. We were travelling with friends and were allocated adjacent rooms at the back of the hotel on the 6th floor. During our 3 nights stay we found the rooms very quiet and enjoyed peacefull nights. There was a reasonable choice of food available from the buffet style breakfast and we considered it very good value for money. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating a city break in Strasbourg and we shall certainly use it again.

Very friendly staff, nice and clean room. A nice breakfast buffé. (If you need an egg every morning you might react to the extra charge 😊) But if excellent cheeses, tasty charcuteries, breads and yougurts etc is perfect for you, you will be satisfied. Position of hotel is right smack in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. Excellent stay

The location is very good but the breakfast is terrible. I wanted an egg for breakfast and was told I would have to pay an extra 2 euros. We have travelled a lot this year this would have to be the worst breakfast ever. The staff although nice can't speak English that well. More geared up for the Japanese tourist. Wifi very weak
