Great location! Nice porch on the beach. Great sliding door direct to beach!

Good price for such a location. Walked to ferry and downtown.

First room was VERY musty and we actually had to move rooms. Cleaning staff were very kind. We will try another location next year.

I stayed at three hotels last week. Two were very good and a good value. This place was a dump. When I opened the room it smelled like a wet mop had been left in it for a week. That was probably because the carpeting was damp and in 80 degree plus weather the AC had not been turned on and the windows facing lovely Lake Huron were closed. The pillows had taken on the room odor. The staff was good enough to give us fresh pillows. It is the 21st century a room with only one outlet? At breakfast I got a cup of coffee but the next guy didn't and it was quite a wait. I wanted to take a cup back to my wife, but still empty. So I opted for orange juice. That was empty too. This was before 8:00am. It is a great location. It should be demolished and replaced. I suspect it was built in the early sixties and renovated a couple of time already.

Hotel was nice enough. A few cosmetic issues (peeling wallpaper, older tile in bathroom). Biggest problem was having to duck down to get under the shower head. Bed was comfy, pillows not so much, but we still slept well. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with biscuits and gravy as a bonus. Good location, close enough to everything yet far enough away that you don't have to deal with crowds.

We booked for the 4th of July weekend. We found socks in our bed from some other guest. there were holes in the bathroom walls. The beach looked more like a swamp. If you want your family to have a remeber that awful hotel type story, then book this place. Otherwise, spend your time at the Holiday Inn Express or Days Inn around the area.

The photo is not where you will stay. You will stay in a small out-dated cottage that is in pretty sad shape.

Room was fine, but sink need to be cleaned properly. It wasn't very clean

The location was great, very close to Mackinac Island ferries. Also, there is a small beach behind the hotel..room was clean and comfortable, overall a great place to stay.

We're not there long. But, the Front Desk Person was over the top pleasant and friendly. A great experience.

Scott checked us in late at night and was extremely courteous!! He even upgraded our room to one with a teriffic view...for free! Rooms need a little upkeep/maintenance (new grout on tub, etc.) but overall an excellent experience. Two thumbs up!

We booked two rooms at this motel. The carpeting was worn and the bathrooms were in need of updating. The pictures on the web site did not reflect the true condition of the rooms. Also a stain was on the bed cover. Will not use this motel again.

Room is adequate as a place to sleep but too small for much else. Photo is misleading, room was in a one story old motel unit next to road. Breakfast looked ok but very crowded so we didn't stay. Not far from ferries. Loved visit to Mackinac Island though.

The receiver who work in front desk was so helpful for help me to check in. the hotel I feel good about everything especially the people who're living in there feel so friendly.

very pleasureable

Liked the pool and the location of the hotel, it was on the beach and was wonderfull

I was traveling with my girlfriend. We checked in around 6pm not sure what to expect. Upon arriving to our room we realized that the room reminded us of a musty motel room, similar to those you see in horror movies. The beds were nice, the shower was not. The shower spout was about 5 feet off the ground and required some sort of yoga move to wash my hair (I'm 5'11''). The location of the hotel was nice, about a 15 minute walk from downtown Mackinaw City. Our room was not directly on the beach, but then again there wasn't much of a beach to begin with. For some reason, about 15 feet out from the rooms, after some nice sand, there was 15 feet of wet, swampy area before another 5 feet of sand and finally Lake Huron. Not a place I recommend going to if you expect to lounge on the beach. Finally, after a decent nights sleep, my girlfriend and I went to get their free hot breakfast. It consisted of eggs, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. The only food I enjoyed was the sausage and biscuits and that was a bit suspect. So, their culinary skills are not the best, but it was acceptable. So take this review for what its worth, the stay here was decent for the price, just not what was expected.

WE were not given the rooms that we ordered, [...] would never ever try to stay at another Quality Inn (what a joke). The pool was in a building not connected to anything, the room was so small you could hardly turn around in it. The management was insulting the way he treated our situation.

Close to main street Mackinaw City. Easy walk to food and activities. Shuttles to ferries. Breakfast was good, plentiful, offered a nice selection of hot and cold items, and was served in a large bright room with lots of windows. If you're in the area, take the trip to Mackinac Island.

We stayed overnight to go to Mackinac Island the next day. The hotel had clean rooms but outdated. It was a good price for the place of the hotel and if you don't mind more outdated rooms, then this hotel might work. Don't expect luxury, but an ordinary room that's clean for the money paid.
