Stayed here so we could scope out the blue ice on a whim. The hotel was easy to find, right off of the bridge with a quick check-in. The young lady at the desk was gracious and professional and was fun to chat with. The hotel was clean and nicely furnished. The rooms were clean, there was a little wear in the bathroom but not surprising for a hotel that is enjoyed by hard working, hard playing outdoor types. The service was excellent and the free popcorn and coffee, etc was appreciated after a chilly day running around outside.
Very clean and reasonable, I would stay here again. Close to several attractions, My family enjoyed out stay here. It was within driving distance to several places that we wanted to site see. Close to some beautiful beaches and its always fun to cross the Mackinaw Bridge. Enjoyed wandering around down town Saint Ignace, Beautiful shops to visit, close to the Ferry's that take you to Mackinaw Island
Very clean rooms and amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Big Boy will deliver to your room from next door. Friendly staff. Great hot breakfast. Free shuttle to the casino. Really cant say enough. Enjoy your stay!
After a very long difficult day, most of which was spent driving many miles, I decided I could go no further so I made a last minute reservation at this hotel. I hadn't eaten since 7:00 a.m. and it was now 8:00 p.m. I literally almost cried when I walked into the lobby and smelled popcorn, free for guests. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Although the overall hotel decor is somewhat dated my room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The included breakfast in the morning was more than adequate, with enough choices to satisfy most people. This hotel is conveniently located near highway US 2, and close to the Mackinaw Bridge. I was very pleased with my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Quality Inn St Ignace again.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Because it was so reasonable we weren't expecting it to be so nice. The room had a balcony with a great view of Mackinac Island. We saw an amazing sunrise right from our room. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but fresh with a variety of items. Would stay here again.
Haven't stayed here in years. The hotel has been freshened up, but still not modern. Clean. Smallest bathroom ever. Breakfast area is tiny, but several choices and well maintained. Great staff. Manager is super and it reflects in her employees. Would stay again maybe. Price too high for this room. Beds not very comfy.
It was a ok hotel .. are room smelled a little but other than that was a good stay . They had a good selection for breakfast and the guy at the front desk was very friendly. All in all I don't think I will come back to this hotel .
We are pleasantly surprised to find the how friendly the staff was. Even though southerners have a tendency to think northerners of having friendly/rude personality these folks were truly friendly and helpful. They were full up so call for a reservation several days in advance. Their breakfast room staff had their hands really full with all the people and children with them. Staff was most helpful with questions concerning the ferries and how the system works. Would stay at this motel again.
Clean and easy, although at $139, it was a bit pricey for its old decorations & in room furniture was well used. Breakfast was warm with eggs and sausage along with regular cold breakfast options as well. Breakfast was well stocked and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotels in northern Michigan can be expensive and hard to get during the popular summer season. This Quality Inn was ok. It's getting a bit old and could use a little updating. It had a room that accommodated our family of five but it was a bit tight. The place was packed since it was reasonably priced. It's right on the water which was cool. Breakfast was fine. We'd stay again.
