Quality Inn Lakefront

Great view and a nice room. Breakfast area was a little small for the number of people present but food was good.

the shower is okay for short people, no good at all for taller people. Cleaning staff never showed up until after 2pm during our second day. I would not stay here again, lesson learned.

A long journey from Detroit area. We were welcomed by a lovely woman who checked us into our room and suggested a restaurant. Restaurants are close-by but not walking distance. Lovely room with a balcony. Very comfortable bed. Pool was warm and inviting. We especially liked the pizza place just down the road. Great sandwiches. It was a cold spring day but we were very comfortable and spent time on the balcony to enjoy the views. If it had been summer it would have been a perfect beach location. Price was right too.

We stayed one night while traveling. Was very happy with the room, very comfortable bed, clean and has a great view. Very friendly staff. Great Value!

The moment I opened the door and turned on the lights, I saw several roaches scattering. There were also quite a few bugs flying throughout the room as well. I walked straight back to the hotel receptionist and told her what i saw. She told me that 'This is Michigan, of course there are going to be bugs here'. I tried explaining to her that I expected to encounter bugs outdoors, but not that many in my room. I had no desire to sleep in a room with cockroaches under my bed. The receptionist refused to give me a refund. I ended up staying at another hotel about 2 blocks away, and even though that hotel was also in Michigan, it wasn't filled with bugs. Avoid this Quality Inn.

Other than the broken light switch on the wall lamp by the TV, the room was fine. The view was great. I would go there again.

room and pool area were nice and clean...rooms could use some updating ... view from the room was nice but I would remove the tire from the water...takes away from the beauty. Nice breakfast. We would come back.

Choose this place if you dont have another choice. I was able to hear noise from both hallway and from people in the rooms next to me. You will have to walk outside to get to the breakfast area that is located in the reception area.

*That was in good location. *Things were good in the room including washroom n all stuff. *Provided facility was good including Buffet . *Will suggest to the friends to stay over there. *No complains at all.

Kind of a "grumpy" staff member checked us in. Indoor pool was across parking lot, hot tub not very hot, pool NOT heated Brrrr. For this time of year. Great view of Lake Huron, islands, beach.

it is the best place to stay in St. Ignace if you love to hear the sound of the lake.

Overall satisfied. Did have an issue with the white comforter being dirty. Looked like someone had a nosebleed on the corner. Wasn't so bad since it's known that those top covers rarely get washed anyway and we NEVER use them. Next day, the comforter was clean. Last day, the waffle station broke down. :( Location was great: less than 10 min from the bridge, 2 min from the docks to the island, and less than an hour to Sault St. Marie and Tehquamenon Falls.

The hotel had great views from our room. The pool and spa where satisfactory. The employee's at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

Stayed the night for ferry ride to island the next day. Room was big enough for two couples, but wasn't worth the cost. Pool and hot tub were in separate building.

Was looking forward to the pool, but it wasn't working this night. They did tell us that at the office and appoligized for the inconvience. Looking out at the water was a great view.

good room with great view. shower heads are very low.

The Quality Inn Lakefront was a great place to stay. We took the ferry over to Mackinac Island for the day, then came back to relax at the hotel in the evening. The hotel was clean. The pool was decent-sized, and was located in its own building. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were spacious and clean for an unbeatable price. Listening to the sound of the lake made it just about perfect. Unfortunately we just happened to be there when there were May Flies everywhere outdoors.

Awesome location at the lake. We didn't expect the rooms to be that large, each room had 2 queen beds in it (!!!). Had we known, we would've rented just one, and not 2. Actually, the booking service DID mention this, but we thought it's a typo or a joke. It turned out to be true to the letter. This is definitely a family-oriented inn. The staff was friendly, we even got coupons to use for the Armold Line ferry to the Mackinac Island. Breakfast was awesome. Very helpful staff, too. About a mile away from the ferry docks. We liked it so much that we decided we will DEFINITELY return. I wish the indoor pool & spa was open 24 hours (they close it at 11 PM) - when we arrived (close to midnight) the pool was already closed. Other than that, the two-star rating is not descriptive enough for the overall service we've received! And no, they didn't pay us for this review.

Nice to be on water and near the town. Room was clean and bath was better cleaned on second day. Pool was alright. Good price for what it is.
