This hotel did not meet my base expectations. The room would not heat up even though I had the heat on maximum heat. The TV lost cable connection. The room did overlook the lake but the window was so dirty, the view did not really matter. Breakfast was average.

Great , had good time in hot tub, great sunrise view , fire works from the island

Need updated tvs' and refrigerators that work. Close to ferry, staff friendly and helpful.

I have booked a king bedroom. but it was bad .. there was no hot water also the water tap was broen... internet service is very bad

The hotel room is exactly what we asked for in a room. The bad thing was we were in a cubby hole with a view of the parking lot, had a gap in the entry door you could see the light come through plus a cold draft that made the room cold drywall was peeling off walls and ceiling. The breakfast included with the stay was good though and housekeeping did keep things clean overall and, clean towels were kept stocked, but the bed as very uncomfortable. if I go back I would stay somewhere else.

Room was just ok. Needed to be updated .. Pool and hot tub area open wiring boxes . Over chlorine in hot tub.

Not happy for the price we paid. The A/C didn't work, shower/bathroom was old and there was no bathroom vent fan. There was a small window that would open in the bathroom, but there were campers right outside! The (1) ice machine we saw, did not work! I don't know if we stayed in an older part or what! Will not stay here again! The location was nice, right on the water.

Great location. The room was below average. Very hard to turn off the water in the shower. The light switch wouldn't turn off.

Service staff does there best to keep this old place in business. The rooms needs a major make over. With peeling wall paper and faded pictures this is just the start. We booked this hotel because it advertised was next to the ferry. What we discovered was there are many more hotels with a short walking distance of the ferrys.

Nice hotel and great location. Right next to the ferry docks and we were able to bike over for the ferry. Excellent breakfast spread.

This was the most disappointing Days Inn that I have ever stayed at. It was out of date, dirty and tacky. I would never stay there again

We checked into our hotel and found it to be a very tiny room with too much furniture. Were surprised that they had not upgraded to flat screen tv's. Our carpeting was wet where someone had obviously gone swimming and changed out of a wet swimsuit. But imagine how surprised we were when we tried to use the the free wi-fi and couldn't. I think that was the biggest disappointment. There was no wi-fi to be found maybe it was available in the front lobby but sure wasn't in our room. Oh and don't think that because it say waterfront it really is, there is a parking lot between the hotel and the water, and no beach.

My wife and I were planning to just sleep here before continuing on to our final destination in MI. We wanted a place near the bridge that was reasonably priced and would not be gross. We checked in around midnight and were gone by 9 a.m. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were nice. The air kept the room cool enough. It was quiet there. My wife had a bad experience with the shower. She said the water quickly swung from scalding to freezing and did so the entire length of her shower. Mine varied but not to those extremes. The hotel offered a free continental breakfast but we didn't try it. The two staff members at the front desk were very nice. The hotel is outdated but it fit the bill for our needs. We plan to stay here again when making this same trip.

the bath room door jams ev erytime when door close . Wi Fi only in lobby , not in guests' room,

Pictures on the internet are better than in person. Rooms were ok, a bit out dated. Breakfast was good, but messy. No one was around to tidy up.

Just fine for the value, but bring extra towels. Room towels were not much bigger than hand towels.

We stayed in Daysinn during the Memorial day weekend, and the place was quiet decent. The rooms were good and clean, bed was very comfortable and staff were friendly as well. The place is very near to the mackinaw parasailing and Sheplers ferry who provide free shuttles to your hotel.

The room was sooo small that the one bed was right against the A/C so the room could not cool off. there was mold by windows and as you drove up shingles were falling off the building. The only good thing about this hotel is the beds were comfortable. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The property is a combination of old building and relatively new. We were in the old section. I was major frustrated with two things. One was that the water in the tub was reversed, hot was cold and cold was hot, it addtion the water was much hotter than normal and scaled a foot while dealing with the reversal. They made a note when we reported it, but we found out that several rooms in our row are set up that way. The second problem was that the "seals" were broken on all but one of the shampoo, cream, etc.....
