View was amazing, ac was not the best. Comfortable bed.Way over priced for what was offered.

This hotel has been renovated and they did a good job with it. Would have been nicer if the doors had also been replaced.. Esp the slider doors. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, not great, but as expected. The pool area was great. We would def stay here next time we are in town.

It's on the water which is nice but the room had a horrible smell to it. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were small square pillows, which I have never experienced before. When going in and out of the room at night there were so many bugs you had to run in and out to help prevent many bugs going into the room. Would not recommend this hotel.

small bath room no spare tp had to call and found it next door out side out side entry to room and pool in different building

Good, peaceful location. Easy access to ferry doc to Macinack islands. Friendly staff. The lake view is awesome!!!! Breakfast - average. Lot of flies at night.

Poor customer service and rude night staff Also room had a bad smell Would not recommend plenty of other options in town

Great experience, thanks!!! Clean room fun times, excellent staff

Hotel was newly remodeled and comfortable. Great view!

This was a positive experience with a nice lakeside view

I booked this motel for a comfortable but short overnight stay. It was reasonallby priced and everything I expected for the price. The lake view was fabulous! The only issue I had was the one of the desk recetionist's made negative comments about the phone ringing continually. I suggested to her she might see that as a good thing. I might be customers needing a room thereby helping her keep her job.

Lots of little flying bugs in the room. Beautiful location right on the water. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was bagels, toast and juice.

I have to say first that the staff was excellent. I had messed up and booked two nights in St. Ignas instead of Sault St Marie And the staff between the two kewadin hotels made my mistake work for my family. The hotel was in a lovely location. We did not have a lakefront room but it was easy to get to. Now the room. The set up was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was way to small, but functional with hot water and good pressure. The room sleeps six, everybody needed to get dressed in there. Second it was a smoking room. I am positive I did not sign up for that. It smelled terrible. Then my daughter found a half smoked cigarette under the couch. Like I stated earlier it was not horrible but I will pay more attention to what I am getting. The continental breakfast was not very good either. See did enjoy our time there. The pool was nice and my children went to the mystery spot and enjoyed that as well. Bottom line at the bottom, would I recommend to a friend. Sure as long as they got a non-smoking room.

Nice place, but we had all these small bugs outside by the door and also alot inside under tray for coffee machine plus in bath tub. Reported to front desk in morning, they didn't seem too concerned. replied there "harmless". Even asked if they wanted to see as we were the room right next to the office. Didn't want to see. Breakfast was very OK. Toast and bagels, juice and coffee.

The location was good and I was surprised at how large and clean the room was. I received slot play and won enough to more than pay for the room with that free slot play. It was disconcerting that, upon check-in, my name and credit card info were on a slip with another person's address and phone number. The extremely rude staff member would not discuss it, only saying that she didn't do it. I have no idea if it was a hotel, or hotel booking service error, because she would not talk about it. She also would not answer my questions as I asked them, but insisted that she address things that she wished to address with me first, saying, "I can tell you that in a minute, after I tell you this." It was odd to have someone be so rude at a front desk. Despite that, the stay was nice., I would go back if I could make sure that nothing bad happened to my credit card.

Wasn't bad, just needed a place to sleep for the night. Suggested improvements: Front Hotel desk entrance not well marked for late arrival. Breakfast was skimpy - don't offer it at all. Complex could use some upgrades.

Both of the people I dealt with at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We got free casino credits with our room. The girl told us they were worth $10 a piece and they ended up being worth $20 a piece, very nice! The room was very big actually, but simple. Everything was clean. Just fine for one night trip. I would stay there again.

Well, we get there, and they tell us that after we were confirmed for check in at 3pm, that our check in is a 4pm, not 3pm, it is always 4pm, the lobby is shabby, and very musty smelling! So we leave and come back at 4:10pm, only to be told our room is still not ready, but we can wait with our other party in their room till it is! BAD SERVICE! We go down to the "beach", and it is all rock...we go and enjoy our day on the island and come back to the room. The Inn had given us vouchers for the casino, so we planned to have dinner and do some gambling, but to our surprise, the resturant closed at 9pm! Only the deli was open! POOR SERVICE! We place our order at the deli, and waited...45 minutes later I go to the counter, and find they had not even placed our order, but had forgotten about us! I go find a supervisor to complain, and he refunds our monies and gives us free pizza...whoopie! Won't recomend there nor ever stay there again!!!

Walkin in the Heat was on Full blast & must have been on for days... our room was easy 115 degrees (outside temp was 85 degrees). We had to leave for over 3 hours before settling in because it was so ungodly hot. wirlpool room... (no bubble bath so bring your own) The celiing through out looked as though the room above would just come right through. There were so many plaster patches it was crazy. and open area right above the bed. Also found hair in the shower & Toilet in bathroom. YUCK

This is an older motel but it's clean and the view from the room was beautiful.

good king bed and lake view
