Room was clean. Got there late and the front desk staff had our check-on stuff ready to go.

Great hotel. Bed too soft. Great staff. Great location. Very quit

The location of this hotel is great. It is closed to crossing mall and great restaurants. The staff are friendly. Just the breakfast area is a little bit crowed.

This hotel lacate very covinient area. Macknaw Crossing is very close this hotel.

Location was central to downtown and the staff was friendly. We were on the 2nd floor and the noise from the room directly above was loud - kids were jumping off the bed and running around their room. The complimentary breakfast was minimal, the waffle machine didn't cook thoroughly and the coffee was terrible. I will be looking for another place to stay for our next trip to Mackinaw City.

The location was convenient, the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the price was solid. Overall a good experience.

Came here after a long day of driving across the UP. It was a nice hotel; clean and the staff were friendly. We were only there for a few hours to sleep, and then we were off early the next morning, but the town seemed very tourist-friendly.

Decent stay Rooms where clean I felt it was high priced on the rooms for the location

We stayed here three nights for the Mackinac Island 8 Mile race - looking for an affordable place on a busy weekend. We've stayed at almost every beachfront place here over the years and I can say that the Baymont has the most comfortable beds of the lot. It is also within easy walking distance of everything - good eats - shopping - ferry docks - theater.... I left my watch in the spa area one day - asked at the desk the next - it was returned with a smile - how refreshing! Breakfast room is well run - clean - good. 'Nuff said - it's a nice, clean place off the beach but close to everything else at a decent price. Cons: old tube TVs with no inputs and no minifridge or micro in room - standard in most other area lodging = these are the only reasons for lesser ratings on amenities and value.

The Baymont Inn is right in the heart of the tourist area of Mackinaw City, so that was a plus. My biggest complaint - the room smelled very mildewy, particularly around the sink area. Wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot to walk to everything and easy to get to from the expressway. The staff was remarkably friendly from the front desk clerk to the man that was stocking the breakfast bar. If you want luxury this is not you place but if you want a comofortable, clean, friendly, well priced place in Mackinaw City this is.

Perfect experience except for a child in room above us running back and forth across room at 5:30 in the morning. Talked to manager and he offered to let us move to another room. The shopping center and downtown are about a block away and Sheplers ferry is about 2 to 3 blocks away. Plenty of food nearby. Great experience

Room is clean and neat, everything you need in a hotel is there. Comfortable and cozy. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. I wish they had two bedrooms instead of one in the family suite, but just a minor complaint.

quick check-in, clean rooms, accomodating to our requests, good breakfast

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Walking distance to most attractions

We were here for the bridge walk weekend. Had a great trip! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be back next year!

You advertized on line as pet friendly but when we checked in we were told the following: (our dog weighs 5lbs-5oz fully grown) 1-Their would be a charge of $10.00 a day for the dog. 2-Had to fill out a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper with with restriction on the dog & sign. 3-Dog paid his stay but wasn't given anything for breakfast.

only an average hotel-pros: excellent location, good breakfast, friendly staff; cons: funny smelling room, small pool

Had a nice stay. Clean room. Pretty basic. Cheap!

We were en route home, and just stayed here one night. Staff suggested a great restaurant. Room was quiet and pleasant, but we wished there were ceramic mugs for coffee or tea instead of the styrofoam. We enjoyed the pool..small but adequate, and the pool area was clean and open late enough for us to use. (11 pm)
