My room was good. But other family members had half repaired holes in wall and old carpeting.
Unfortunately the staff didn't show up to clean. However, I was fortunate to get a room that had been cleaned.
The hotel was very quiet, the staff friendly and helpful, and the hotel sets off the main road so there is not road noise. The rooms are clean and nice. we will stay here again

I was in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The employees at the front desk were very kind and helpful and the room was comfortable.
Really, really nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only one problem... it's not near a good restaurant. There are fast food places nearby and one "family restaurant" which is where I ate dinner. It wasn't very good, though.
We needed to stop because of the weather and thought it would be fun to say in our name sake town.
We decided at the spur of the moment to head out on Memorial Day weekend with no hotel revs for our destination. Although this location was a Ittle out of our way the price was right for 2 rooms and didn't ask for a 2 night stay. I have stayed in Country Inn & Suites before and overall they are fine. All I was looking for was a decent room. The negative was an odor of smoke and mustiness in the room and their breakfast area needed some attention. If you stay here you are close to Galena and several other nice wineries but bring your Fabreeze.
