Pros: Location, right beside the Metro Station, close to needful paces like: supermarkets (ica) , medical stores, Hospital, saloon etc. Kitchen available so you can cook you food if you are staying there for long, Serve breakfast (Healthy but not so exciting food). Cons: The rooms are not ventilated enough, hot on a warm days, No AC, If you open window then its quite noisy (planes, metro, tram and cars...all kind of disturbing sound will be offered to you. he sofa-cum-bed is terrible. It is a frail frame only, not offering a good sleep :p ), No restaurants for lunch and dinner. 1 BHK rooms are good, Queens are ok and studio is just bad.
Already arriving to the reception was "interesting" - some people walking around, who looked suspicious. Then the elevator was just awful - was it from last century or even earlier? I'm not very weak person, but it took me a lot of strength to open the door to get into the elevator. Then it took ages before it reached 12th floor. Coming our of the elevator, the corridor was full of different food smells (and NOT good smells). The room was quite Ok, although it had definitely seen better days. Everything looked quite old, the furniture, linen etc. I only stayed to spend the night, but I have no idea was was used to wash the linens with, as I was itching all night there (never happened before and I'm not an allergic). The breakfast had very poor choices and looked really sad. I'm never going to stay at Stay At again. For this price, there are better hotels in Stockholm.
We have stayed here for 4 days as part of a family trip. The appartment was very nice. The common rooms offered coffee, snacks and a welcoming atmosphere. The city was close by with car. As it was very important for us due to diet reasons to cook for ourselves, the kitchen was enough. Fridge, microwave and a nice little stove. The beds in the room were exceptionally comfortable. On the 10th floor the closeby railway station was not noisy for us at all. The staff was helpful and nice. Glutenfree breakfast options were available (cereal marked if glutenfree). They made the experience much easier. Overall I'd rate this as a very very good average. Nothing excetional but without any problems or troubles. Would go again.
This is a cheap not so central, but clean and functional hotel. Rooms are big enought, there is the internet connection and it very close to the subway, so reaching the city centre isn't really a problem.
We stayed at StayAt Bromma for a few days in August. Positive points; good breakfast, ample car parking, generous sized rooms with fridge & basic kitchen. Breakfast was basic but with a choice of food, juice and coffee/tea. Breakfast room was a little quirky and had a number of style of tables and chairs rather than uniform look of many other hotels. We actually liked that. Apartment was generously sized & a small kitchen provides some flexibility for families. However, the hotel requires guests to clean up or pay for cleaning afterwards. Also, Sofa bed was uncomfortable and bathroom fittings were outdated and could do with update. The hotel is located well away from Stockholm city centre. There is a metro station close to the hotel - so one should factor the additional transport cost & time vs getting a hotel in the city centre. Secondly, the noise was unbearable with metro trains going past every 2-3 minutes day and night, and a main road running by the hotel. Weather was warm in August and with no air conditioning in the hotel, windows had to be open. However, train/cars noise means that sleeping was almost impossible. One has a choice; close the windows and suffer the heat or open the window and suffer the noise! Either way, sleepless uncomfortable nights was the result. There was also a strong cooking smell in the floor were we stayed - this smell persisted throughout our stay and was overpowering. Finally, at least 2 guests with large dogs inside the hotel. While this may be acceptable to some people, others may object to dogs in a hotel and may prefer to stay somewhere else for the safety of younger children. In summary, we would probably stay elsewhere next time.
I stayed there for a week while being on a business trip to Stockholm. Overall experience is good. There are multiple options for room sizes and apartment sizes since I could see lot of families staying there as well.
Nice hotel for stay , especially if you take the one room apartment. The best part is you can cook food and if you are from outside , it is the best hotel. Most of the rooms are with people from India as they come here for company work.
What works for this hotel - great location, right beside the Metro Station, very close to supermarkets, medical stores and banks good breakfast spread. What does not work: Not at all well kept. The rooms are not ventilated enough, so it gets stuffy, specially when you use the kitchenette. Poor service - I asked for a fan (it was way too hot in the room, and was given a very dirty one. If you shut the windows, then it gets suffocating. If you open them, then it is very noisy. The sofa-cum-bed is terrible. It is a frail frame only, not offering a good sleep.
Practical apartment with big windows overlooking the city. Spacious rooms and good beds. Basic furniture and kitchenarea. Floors, doors and parts of the bathroom is a bit worn down and needs a renovation, but walls and colours are good. Close to subway (3 min walk) which is all well and good for transport, but not brilliant for noiselevels...even at the 14th floor. Very thin walls; you can basically hear a mouse fart in the next apartment. Decent breakfast but lacks alternativ for gluten/lactose.
Went here for one night since this was the only place available in Stockholm. The modest furnishing would have been ok but as the cleaning had not been done properly it did not feel good staying here. I had to remove the matress cover from under the sheet since it was dirty and covered with hair. Why did I even look...well saw a bug on the floor and needed to make sure there were no bedbugs. There were not. The room was hot on a warm day and no AC so I had to open the window for the night. The noice from the railway, cars and planes woke me up several times even with the earplugs. The curtains did not cover all of the window so I could also enjoy the light almost all night as it does not get dark at this time of the year. This might work better at wintertime when you do not see all the details and get to keep the windows closed. The breakfast itself and the room was ok and the personnel friendly.
