nice staff very friendly, the breakfast could improve with fruit for exemple but still ok. The location is great very centric but if you have a car i could be complicated, price is fair. Very clean, we get a room with toilet and shower ensuite on the last floor, spacious enough and bed comfy. We only stayed two night so i don't know for a longer stay. Not so easy to find because of the renovation of the slussen but the room was on the little streetside , very calm. Still, i recomended and will be back definitly!

Stayed for 2 nights in February, Location is very good for sightseeing in central part of the city and is also easily accessible to Central station. Friendly and helpful service. Room was very small twin bed and bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen. Breakfasts were good and buffet-style.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, with decor in keeping with the age of the building. There are lots of stairs, but they are renovating and installing a lift soon. Room was spotlessly clean. No kettle in the room but with tap water so pure, you really don't miss it. Breakfast was plentiful and kept stocked up. Staff unobtrusive but very friendly and helpful. Hotel is ideally situated and just a short scenic walk to Gamla Stan. Very good restaurants in all directions. Will be coming back to see Stockholm in the summer and would definitely come back to this lovely hotel.

I knew that the location was compromised by the works at Slussen - so, that did not surprise me (note that the hotel it literally next to a massive infrastructure project). However, this is more of a hostel than a hotel. Service minimal and staff can't even be bother to replenish breakfast even when asked. They wanted to know exactly when we were planning to have breakfast so that they didn't have to come in "too early"... Suite if decent size but decorated like the entrance of a surplus store.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Stockholm! We had a deluxe room on the first floor. + location (near to shops, metro station Slussen, bars and restaurants) + walking distance to Old Town and City Center + staff (super friendly) + fast check-in and -out + bar in the lobby (open until 11 pm) + super fresh breakfast (hot and cold options, very tasty) + the bed and linen (very comfortable bed and nice super clean sheets) + good pillows and blanket + no big and dusty day cover, just a small at the foot end of the bed + both room and bathroom of good size + slippers (a must because the floor was very cold) + very quiet (at this time of year when nobody uses the backyard?) + also very relaxed and quiet at breakfast Some pointers: - one more luggage rack would be convenient because there is only one small closet for your clothes - a bit cold in the room and you can't adjust the heat yourself However for sure we will stay at Anno 1647 next time we visit Stockholm. Thank You!

I stayed here for work and just needed a single room with the right location for the purpose, and this hotel got a lot of good reviews so I decided to try it out. It turned out to be located in a cosy old building in a great location near Old Town, Metro and a lot of restaurants and shops in the area of Söder. Reception staff was very service minded and accommondating. I booked a single room, and it was very small but the bed was super comfy. I only had one bad experience in this room, and it was that over the basin in bathroom there was a shelf of glass located so low over the basin that it was not possible to wash your face in a convenient way. So annoying! Make sure to have a room away from the street if you are a light sleeper, I woke up several times during the first night from party people screaming on the streets. Second night was better. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection to choose from. It's a lot of things in a small area so it could give the impression of a little bit messy, but just take your time and have a look around. I will definitely stay here again, but maybe in a slightly bigger room.

I stayed here and the price was good. This is not modern but as expected. Had to walk outside to the communal bathroom which was better than expected. The location is very good though in Sodermalm area nearby and Slussen is for the subway stop.

The hotel is located in trendy Södermalm but really close to the historic dictrict (you just need to cross the bridge). Breakfast is grand and the staff, reception and management, very helpful. I would just take a room category above "economy" because those rooms might be a bit noisy. Great price/quality ratio.

This hotel has a great location it is warm friendly the staff are excellent speak great English and are very helpful, the rooms are clean tidy small a bit quirky but a little jaded. Breakfast is very good and I would say the hotel is value for money. Downside no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and as you will see buying coffee in Stockholm is very expensive, also no real bar to relax in. I would recommend this hotel for your visit to Stockholm.

Stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights from 22/16 until the 25/16, We had an amazing view from the room we had which was shared between me and my father, the scene was beautiful and it was a very good location to shops, restaurants and the Historical town of Gamla Stan. The staff was pleasant and the morning breakfasts that was included with the hotel was great too! The room itself to me was very basic with a double bed, sofa bed, tv and a private bathroom, at times during the night it was very noisy until early hours of the morning which hindered my sleep. Would have been nice to have a self catering facility i.e a kettle for us to help ourselves to refreshments in the morning/night. Overall experience was superb and I would happily come back to the hotel!
