Sold my room to someone else (even though I had paid in advance), then refused to find me a room at a hotel nearby as they were "too expensive". Sent me 15 mins away by cab. Really unhelpful staff. It's a shame. I've stayed here before and loved it.

very nice hotel ,clean and people who work there are really helpful , i will absolutely recommend this hotel and will surely go back again

Amazingly soft sheets and pillows. Design of small rooms was very functional. Location perfect. For someone traveling alone, it doesn't get any better. I'll be back.

The Berns Hotel was an amazing experience. The customer service was exceptional. The food was priced well and always beyond our expectations. I will stay there my next trip to Stockholm.

While the hotel is located in a great location. The hotel is from the early 20th century and feels like it was last cleaned somewhere around that time as well. Dusty room, vibrations from the club next door, bad smelling sewer-ish bathroom and broken air conditioners are not worth paying the premium you do for the hotel.

Excellent location -- walking distance to all the sights, restaurants, parks, shopping. If you are staying a Friday/Saturday night, the club can be loud. Front desk staff helped us arrange spa treatments, restaurant reservations and car service -- very helpful staff. Small room, but comfortable and included all the conveniences.

Very nice value given the time of year is peak season. I moved from the Sheraton which I was unhappy with. Attentive Staff, small boutique hotel really, tiny room was a negative but I traveled by myself so not a huge deal, great free breakfast in the morning. A little off the beaten path but in a very nice area of downtown with many nice restaraunts and clubs. This hotel NEEDS black out windows or you need to take the horse blinders with you cause you will be awake 24 hours per day.

The Berns is perfectly located for most all sightseeing in Stockholm. Easy walk to Gamla Stan and easy transit access to other locations. We understand that hotels across Scandinavia are expensive but you would think there would be just a hint of something extra for that big price, and there just isn't. The rooms at the Berns are quite small(we rented a "large"- comparable to a US small room). There was no coffee or tea making equipment in the room, no ice machines available (need to call room service and be prepared for a charge for the ice). The hotel has limited air conditioning so be prepared for this. Very nice breakfast with a great outdoor dining area. Staff is wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful.

Very able and responsive staff, obviously trained highly to provide customer service. Check in process was excellent. Rooms are clean and well appointed and very adequate. Might want to request upper floor room to avoid noise from bar restaurant at night. Personally prefer sixth floor with balcony. Breakfast is great and included in price. Well known hotel located in the center of the best known shopping district in the city.

Great location. Friendly Staff. Loud music from the DISCO until 3am. Not a happy camper. Would not recommend it to anyone other than a 20 something. Hotel staff did not warn us and could (our would) not change our rooms. I suspect that all rooms are noisy. Not happy.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the location is great. What surprised me about the Berns Hotel was it was so quiet and peaceful during the day, but then from 1 to 4 am during the weekend nights/early mornings there is blaring, booming, thunderous, reverberating bass throbbing throughout the hotel so loudly it actually shook my room. The hotel has a dance club that has three dance floors, which they proudly stated when I asked about the noise the following morning, but I would not stay here again during a weekend night especially for the money I spent to stay here when I had to get up early the next morning. I could have stayed at the Radisson or the Grand Hotel for a little less than the money I spent at the Berns and I don't think I would have had a unwanted dance party going on in my room. It is quiet and peaceful during the weeknights though so if you are a business traveler or someone who doesn't club, it would be great for the weeknights, but consider yourself warned about the weekend nights.

Had a reservation problem but the hotel generously overcame it. Room welcoming and well appointed. Excellent hotel experience.

Great location. Nice hotel. I was very satisfied and would stay here again.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY, LOCATION AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU, BREAKFAST IS WONDERFUL, BUT DON'T DINE AT THEIR RESTAURANT, VERY PRICEY AND THE FOOD IS NOT THAT GREAT, IF YOU DO MAKE SURE DONT HAVE THEIR MACKEREL, ITS EXTREMELY SALTY. BUT OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE IS PERFECT.
