They opened the room early so we could nap after the long flight. Not a long drive from Glasgow airport. Lots of attraction in the area to visit. Banks, restaurants, grocery stores close by too. Ok restaurant next door. Best breakfast selection ever.

We stayed here for a final night of our Scotland vacation. As a family of four, two of us slept on the pull out couch. The 2 that slept on the couch woke up with bug bites all over our exposed skin. We are now having to bake our luggage out of fear of bed bugs. To add insult to injury, the room was so small that the pull out couch touched 3 walls so there was no room for anyone to move or to open suitcases. Also, the air conditioning unit dripped all night long.

Our second time here and still great staff, facilities, food, and location.

They were able to let us into a room early after long plane ride from the states. Very comfortable room and the staff were extremely helpful on activities in the area. We highly recommend this hotel. Great breakfast too.

Nice atmosphere and staff and room and breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and wish it had been longer.

I had a wonderful experience Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about are historic sites. I will stay here again

Had two friends stay with me for one of the nights. Hotel charged me £50 extra even though I had booked a double room. When we opened the sofa bed, the cover on it was stained and dirty. When I asked for a discount (since that's what a US hotel would have done for a customer who found something that disgusting in one of their rooms), the desk clerk was incredibly snotty and dismissive. Congratulations, Holiday Inn, you got your £50... and no Holiday Inn property will ever get any of my business again.

Although the hotel itself was of the quality of Holiday Inn, the location in a new part of town kept you somewhat isolated. Walking to town is possible and there is a commuter bus that goes into town, the location with luggage is a little difficult to mitigate without a car or taxi. Overall enjoyed the stayed, just wish it was closer.

This hotel is in a great location and offered wonderful parking facilities. It is easy to find and close to thr castle and bridge site. Great breakfast . Friendly helpful staff.

This hotel is modern, up to date, clean, efficient, and has a great breakfast. Prior reviews that rate this hotel as lower are simply obsolete. I have been Gold Elite at Marriott for some time, and this Holiday Inn Express matched or exceeded my expectations in all categories. Front desk goes out of its way to assist.

handy for a quick visit

We basically were there to sleep. It was clean, but there was no hot breakfast. That was a disapointment. It was about 1-2 miles away from Stirling. We walked it a couple of times, but it was a bit too long.
