This resort needs a major renovation or at least some minimal maintenance. The worst part of the experience is the bed. I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my life. I generally like firm mattresses but this is like sleeping on cloth-covered plywood. If you're a back sleeper it may be okay but for side or stomach sleepers don't count on a good night's sleep. We moved to the pull-out couch after the first night and that worn-out, thin, poor quality mattress was still more comfortable than the bed. In addition, the bedroom gets extremely warm in the summer as there is no air conditioning in the room. There is a unit in the kitchen but the air circulation is so poor the bedroom is always 8-10 degrees warmer than the living room and it stayed uncomfortably warm at night. Beyond that the unit is in need of significant maintenance. The garage parking (which should provide added security) had broken entrances the entire time we were there so anyone could come and go. We had a first floor room and the sliding door to the patio had a broken latch so there was no way to lock the sliding door - again, not great from a security perspective. The phone flashed to show us we had messages but the phone didn't work so we couldn't retrieve them. The rooms have doorbells but ours didn't work. Neither of our TVs was working when we got to the room. My wife's first comment when she walked into the bedroom was "That's the smallest TV I've ever seen!". The biggest plus is the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful. Overall the place needs work. If the beds were comfortable I'd move them up to 3 stars.

First time staying at this property but not the first time through Wyndham Resorts. Very nice property. Management was able to secure my room requests upon check in. Resort was very busy not only due to the holiday, but there was a huge lacrosse tournament in town for the weekend. Although our balcony was away from common areas, we could hear loud talking and children playing in the pool and barbecue area. While leaving for dinner one evening, two small (6-8 years old) children were playing alone in the hot tub. I think parents leave their brains at home before leaving on vacation. I don't want to get in a hot tub with children; wish the property would exclude children from at least one of the hot tubs FOR ADULTS ONLY!

I have always wanted to stay here after reading up on this property! It was exactly how I imagined it to be! Pros: Beautiful rooms! Clean and so so cozy! Now I did not expect to utilize the gas fireplace in May, but low and behold, a huge snowstorm blew in and we had 3 nights of under 30 degree weather. Very nice and helpful employees. I had a couple maintenance issues and they were taken care of immediately. Very quiet area. Of course our trip was out of season, so I cannot report on how it is in the middle of winter, but in May, it was so peaceful! Cons: The "update" staff can seriously go pound sand!! I swear when these trolls open their mouths, lies come flying out!! Don't even bother with any Wyndham update breakfasts, your time is much too precious! When you enter your room, UNPLUG YOUR PHONE!! Fridge froze my food and the ice maker made no ice. Even though maintenance was quick to respond, they could not fix my fridge, so that was a bummer! One thing I will point out, this town is very isolated! We spent many days driving for 304 hours one way to go hiking and zip lining and visiting Denver. If skiing and hiking is all you want to do, then you will be all set! There is a Walmart and a nice grocery store right around the corner! And for a wonderful meal, don't miss Cafe Diva!! I highly recommend this property if you are in the Steamboat area

My wife and I recently stayed here for 4 nights during our 6th Wedding Anniversary. The night before we left my wife looked at me and said, "you couldn't have done better planning this trip for us." That was all I needed to hear to know that this place was perfect. It has everything you need and the staff are awesome! Their super nice and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect! We'll defenitly be back!!

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend in September and I couldn't have been more satisfied. The staff was very friendly and the lodgings itself were nice and spacious and we loved the loft style.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday for a whole week. Everything was 5 stars from start to finish. We stayed in a 1 bedroom which was big enough for about 2-3 more people because there was a full pull out bed in the living room and extra closet space. The Room was very clean and spacious with full kitchenware, washer/dryer, and a nice patio with beautiful mountain views. I did not want to get out bed each morning with the huge comfy king size bed we had lol! The location was perfect because it was literally a 5 minute drive from the mountain, downtown Steamboat, Walmart and Safeway. The staff and service were very nice and helpful. I had an amazing birthday week getting lots of rest at this wonderful resort, hitting the happy hours in downtown and meeting locals, and visiting the amazing strawberry hot springs. The one small downfall that my boyfriend and I don't care for, which we have also experienced at other resorts is the lack of daily housekeeping/room service unless you request it. We like to be spoiled when we're on vacation but other than that we had absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back and I would recommend to anyone!!!

We had a three bedroom condo in building five. It was perfect for us. We had 5 adults and a baby. We had a table with room for 8, a great sized kitchen and two bathrooms. We used the free shuttle to get to Steamboat village (a quick ride and the shuttles come every 10 minutes or so). We parked both in the lot out front and in the garage. Both were free with our rental.

We had a 3 bedroom unit which was plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. The check-in process was a breeze. The staff was friendly and gave us helpful tips. The kitchen in the room had everything we needed. One bedroom had a king size bed with its own bathroom and tub. Another bedroom had 2 double/queen beds.. I can't remember exactly. And the last room had 1 queen or double bed. I would say the only downside is if there are rooms above you, and a family is staying in those rooms.. you will probably hear every footstep and jump their kids make. It didn't bother me too much--but our friends complained that they could hear the kids often in the mornings. The underground parking lot was very convenient. The location overall was very convenient as well. Nothing was very far in the town. There's a liquor store and grocery store nearby and a handful of restaurants, too, if you're too lazy to drive to Main Street (even though it's a super short drive). I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! It was our first time in Steamboat and we all thought it was so beautiful even in November!

We are Wyndham owners. This is our go-to spot for a great quiet vacation. We love it both in summer and winter. The Condos are very modern and well appointed. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Easy parking underground or outside. Grocery store is a short drive.

Spacious condo for us. Loved having the shuttle service. NOT impressed with the old school TV, really...but thats could tell they were trying to update. Very well kept and decorated. Enjoyed having a kitchen and the best ever was a dryer to dry out the ski clothes at the end of the day.
