The first problem was the cable TV didn't work. Next problem was the refrigerator didn't work. The toilet was disgusting. The location of the hotel was out in a field somewhere making security poor. And they raised their prices for that particular night because of a college football game in the next town.

Hotel staff was very accommodating, allowed to switch room to a handicapped on arrival.

We were given a smoking room, without us knowing. The smell was so bad could not sleep the night. The room was not good too.

This hotel has obviously not seen a paint brush or anything more than superficial cleaning in at least 20 years. The room smelled awful - (Smoking?? Really, in 2016??), the easy chair had only three legs and collapsed when I sat in it, the shower curtain had mildew spots, and the desk was unable/unwilling to effect any improvement. Simply awful.

Although convenient this hotel is worn, dated, and not overly clean. The price is high for being so shabby

Walked into room to check it out...Bathroom stool had not been cleaned and had mold inside it...We left without staying and went to find a much cleaner motel.

This was a great hotel to stay in just to get off of the highway. It is a little difficult to navigate to, as it is off of a long road seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff were ok, although it took them awhile to find my reservation in their system. Good price. Nothing fancy.

We needed a last minute place to sleep for the night along 81 and this got the job done. There was an issue with the heater in our room and the lobby attendant earnestly tried to get it fixed for us however, it was so late, so we ended up sleeping in a cold room during the winter. Not a deal breaker for us as the blankets on the bed kept us warm, but hopefully that was only a fluke for that particular night.

It was the right location at the right time. No problems for a good night's sleep.

The hotel was out of the way. Nothing close in the way of dining. The pictures have been photoshopped; the paint is peeling off of the building. We did get a non-smoking room however, my husband swears there was dog or cat urine in the carpet. We left the door open a while to air out the room. No towels at all in the shower; glad we checked BEFORE taking our showers. will not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this plAce. Good value.

The room was clean. The motel was convenient and close to Staunton. Breakfast was OK. They did put out more fruit and bagels when we requested. It was a good stay. We will come back.

Spent one night; room was clean, bed had plenty of pillows and blankets were warm, but mattress was uncomfortable. Though the place was mostly empty, myself and the few residenst I saw were situated at the rooms farthest away from the lobby. Remote control batteries were dead and I had to get them replaced at the lobby, so this was inconvenient. Would stay here again if I was price conscious.

This hotel has a terrific location, though it doesn't take advantage of the nearby pasture views. One thing that immediately struck me was that the room smelled of -- nothing. We had a non-smoking room, and there was no smell of anything; either excessive cleaning odors or the stale hotel smell that comes from hermetically-sealed buildings with no windows that open to the outside. I'd make a point of returning for that fact alone. Friendly staff. Otherwise, perfectly acceptable.

Hotel was clean but BARE BONES. Exterior entrance to room. Sparse room decor, one bar of soap - no shampoo, etc. Only one bedside table. No chain or extra door lock.

The room was nice and large. It is good quality for the money. I just spent one night and was visiting family. I was upset to find it was a Motel...not a hotel. I feel safer in a hotel. The motel was hard to find, not on a main road and construction was going on at the site.

The outside of this hotel is a little worn looking, but overall the room was clean. The bathroom was very clean, which is important to me. It's located on a hill and was nice and quiet away from highway noise.

The hotel and room were fine; you get what you pay for, but in a pinch due to College Homecoming our first choice was not available . We had the unfortunate experience of having a very squeaky mattress, which kept me up most the night. When I asked the hotel to change rooms or change the mattress, I was told the hotel was sold out. As soon as I said I would not pay for the room and that I would contact Orbitz, 20 minutes later the clerk found a room for us. Thank you Orbitz, this is precisely why I use you when making travel plans!

My boyfriend & I had a nice hotel room & the bed was comfortable. However, between myself & my family (including kids) we rented 4 rooms. All the other rooms we nice inside also but they all said the beds were uncomfortable. I would also suggest to get a room on the bottom floor. we were on the 2nd floor & the walk area outside the rooms looked like they were going to fall due to cracking in the paint which shows they have fallen since it was made. Over all I would probley stay here again I would just get a room on the 1st floor.

We needed a pleasant 1 night stay and this hotel fit the bill. The staff was extremely pleasent. The room was comfortable and good size, but outdated. Coffee from free continental breakfast was just brown water.
