Close to Penn State University and restaurants. I've stayed here before and will be back!

The staff was so friendly and never missed an opportunity to say hello or to tell us to have a nice day. Room was good and breakfast was good as well.

Hotel was perfect for my family. Clean, comfortable and good location. Highly recommended

The location and room was great. Will recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly.

Great stop, out skirts of the college, but just a drive away.

The lady at the front desk would not stop talking to 2 women while I was waiting to check in so that was a bit annoying. Then she told me since I booked with O****z that I could not get my HHHonors Points. The pool water was too cold to swim in although I believe it says it was heated. Water pressure in shower not great, and phone in room didn't work to call front desk. Location of hotel was good and everything else was good as well.

Enjoyed the friendly people working at the hotel. Everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast. It was very tasty and had a wide variety.

The hotel was perfect for our stay, the hotel is very clean, a good location for Penn State, restaurants , and shopping and our breakfast's were better than home. The staff was very friendly.

We flew from California to State College, PA for a wedding. We stayed two nights and were very impressed with the room and staff. One of the best places I've stayed so far. Very clean, nicely decorated room with all the amenities you would ever need. The bed was king size and very comfortable (everything looked pretty new and fresh). The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the standard breakfast you get at any hotel (not great, but OK) The location is perfect. Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, and Outback Steak house all within walking distance. We recommend the Hampton Inn Suites for sure.

Clean room, AC worked well, staff was friendly, great continental breakfast. The only drawback was no refrigerator in the room.

hotel was great the deal i got was ok. the person at the counter told me i would have got a better deal on [...]. over all i am still happy with the deal i got

VISITING FAMILY

I stayed here while visiting Penn State University and received great service. My room was clean and comfortable and included a mini refrigerator, microwave, cable, and wireless internet. The exercise room is nice but small - a basic elliptical, bike, and treadmill machine.

The room was fine, Christmas niceties adorning the dresser. Skeleton crew to work the holiday, yet all amenities attended to

We've stayed at this particular Hampton a number of times. The rooms are always nice, the lobby quite nice for a Hampton and we prefer the breakfast buffet here to the other nearby hotels. Olive Garden is across the parking lot and the hotel is convenient to major roadways without being right next to them. My only complaint this time was that the room was too hot--in the winter!

I have always loved staying at any Hampton Inn, and this one lived up to expectations very well. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was spotless and the shower made you want to stay in there the entire time. For the breakfast buffet, the fruit was amazing and fresh. The staff was super nice and gave me maps to everything around the State College area.

This hotel was a quiet respite in between two other journeys, and afforded great comfort and convenience. The location is great with easy access to major routes, and close to shopping and restaurants. Wegmans is not far and is a terrific place to pick up a gourmet meal or comfort food.

Purpose of my stay was to visit Penn State with my kids (Alumnis), and this Hotel was perfectly located. Not too big and impersonal, very nice.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast and all day coffee service was wonderful and came in handy when we returned from a day of fly fishing. It's not a fancy place, but a great value for the price.

This is a good location (next to other hotels) not far from the north side of campus, but there's not much to see walking around the area. There's no restaurant on site; there's an Olive Garden and Outback next door. I wasn't really in the mood for that, though. Also, the pool isn't open before Memorial Day, but I had a nice whirlpool tub suitable for reading, so who cares? Overall, it's your basic Hampton Inn, but better than average staff and tidiness. The breakfast was a bit lame (no eggs) but I made do with some french toast sticks and pretty good potatoes.
