Watch out at check in. They don't scan your card but instead write your card number, expiration date and security code down on a piece of paper. I told them I was not OK with that and wanted the paperback and the woman asked me why I was being so difficult. They write it down on paper so they can use it later for whatever they want!

It was a motel built over 50 years ago. With up dates. i

Comfortable. Good for its purpose. Not highly recommended. Would not recommend..

Filthy and stinky. Pay a higher price and go to any other hotel.

Great location in a very nice little town. Good restaurants nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was cereal, doughnuts and coffee - but what do you expect for a very reasonable priced motel.

You get what you pay for- everything was clean, but then there's that slightly musty smell when you walk in. The worst was that the "free" wifi worked for 10 minutes then fizzled- very frustrating, since I really needed it for work purposes.

My wife and I were attending new student orientation with our son, at Penn State. I chose this motel based on location, price and other reviews. The bed was comfortable for me, which is really important since I suffer from lower back issues. The shower was also great; plenty of hot water and strong pressure. The only thing I found lacking were the towels. They were not the worst I've experienced but they were small and thin. Still, they were there, clean and did the job. I would not hesitate to stay there, again. The staff was polite and efficient, the room was clean, the bed and shower good and the price was right. Finally, if you like to fly-fish for trout, this motel is only a mile or two from Spring Creek, I am sure that I will be back for another stay, sooner, rather than later.

We were there for two days as my daughter did her orientation at Penn State. The hotel was okay, but it was not anything special. The room was small, but relatively clean. The staff, when present, were nice, but they were not always in the office no matter how long we waited. Breakfast was nothing special, and my bagel was stale. You get what you pay for, so I cannot really complain. I would recommend it for a short stay where you won't be in the room often.

Very friendly service. Clean room. No frills but a great value.

Don't make reservation over the phone. I did not know this was a motel. I made the reservation over the phone. She should have told me.

ceiling had mildew spots, shower curtain had mildew on bottom of curtain, needs better pillows. Was a terrible, restless night.

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and was fine if all you needed was a place to sleep. However the room had a very musty smell to it.

Very nice. No frills, but its clean and the rooms are nice and comfortable.

Well, a roadside hotel by all means. We were desperate for a place to stay driving through PA on I-80 at night. Asked for non-smoking room, but it smelled funny. Bed was kinda gross (did they wash the sheets?) Didn't even bother with the shower--waited till we got home. Carpet was sticky and dirty. Were wondering if it would have been better to sleep in the car.

Came to pennsylvania from massachusetts to pick up my son and girlfriend from penn state. Would gladly stay here again when we take them back to school in August.

price was great, room was fair- poorly lit, rough patches and stains in ceiling, had trouble with internet, but otherwise clean. convenient to Penn State and good mall. great workout facility (Spring House Gym) next door, $5 guest fee

I needed a last minute hotel in State College. This is only a few miles past the mall and for the price its great.

The hotel was the worst one we have stayed at. The hotel was very close to our activity and all of the other hotels were booked.

If you don't expect much, then that's what you'll get. This was the cheapest place we found in the area, and we just wanted to sleep, eat and go. Easy check in, and checkout. Good enough for sleeping, but the continental breakfast didn't really exist - though they are quick to refer a nearby wafflehouse. Non-smoking room smelled vaguely of smoke.

Room was old with a lot of wear. Carpet was dirty. Overall it was overpriced.
