The ambiance, decor, amenities and the convenience of onsite services. Great location.

The property has no shuttle so once you get to the island you have to fend for yourself. They drive on the left side of the road, which is fine however they are in a rush, and on unmaintained roads. The hotel has no beachfront. There are no rooms in the main building which is odd. You have to walk up and down steep hills to get to your room. They do have staff on golf carts. If you are lucky to find one you can get a ride up to your room. This resort is more worried about selling time shares than they are about their guests. Restaurant was pricey with not as many options as a regular Margaritaville. The main building also has no vending. They have a store on property but it is only open until 6:00pm then your SOL. I suggest if your from the US, just go to Miami

Every thing was clean and pleasant . Staff was pleasant.

I checked in at 11pm and Carma got me in quickly. She upgraded my room to make sure my child had his own bed and even called to make sure everything was up to par. Excellent customer service by all! Wish I could've stayed longer than two nights but all the rooms were sold out. I'd definitely stay there again!

Beautiful setting and facilities. Too much seaweed on beach. Would like more dining options. But great place. Loved it.

Restaurant is very slow. Took over 2 hours to get dinner last night ordered hour d’oeuvres Right away and they didn’t come for over an hour. Very disappointed because we were celebrating a birthday for a gal in our party. Several disappointing things happened. Won’t come back here. Beach smelled very bad the whole week, Seaweed was really bad which isn’t there fault. They were trying to clean it up but it keeps coming. No laying on the beach here.

Great property. Air conditioning for 11407 (bldg 11) needs to be replaced. Barely works. So when idiots schedule shutdown of all electric power during the night, it becomes a sauna. Brutal. Not to mention the gagging smell of 1000s of dead fish and seaweed on the property. Disgusting

The rooms were clean but service could have been better. Restaurant was ok if you want to eat mostly 2,000 calorie meals.

Property was well maintained, the landscaping was awesome, the pools were really great, water was just right. Room was very clean and modern, was really a great place but some of the staff was indifferent and lacking in good customer service while there were a couple people who were very good.

The rooms were great. The downfall to the is accessibility. If you aren’t in shape don’t even try it. You must climb apprx100 stairs up hill and even more stairs too access the best of two pools. There is a cart but it’s inconsistent. You get room cleaning for $50 Fee.There is only 1 restaurant & the food is inconsistent & over priced. The servers lack friendliness & they drop & run as to leave before you can ask for anything else. The sales staff start manipulative tactics at checkin and do not take no for an answer. The checkin desk tells checkin is complete after you go to the sales desk where they are the only mentioned place for attractions they offer you 1 free ticket and say the attraction will be full if you don’t book now. Their prices are more than the attractions’ price plus they charge you $40 for your free ticket. They’ll charge your card if you don’t show & if you don’t stay/if you say the wrong reason for coming like “pressured or forced” they charge you for not staying the full 90 minutes yet they end your presentation. The sales team gather like a pack of hyenas &tell you how not purchasing is not good money management etc. Laura Stewart is the absolute worst manager, she walked away too and refused to help. It was my birthday and they made me cry. Chris was the salesman and he refused to complete my 90 presentation saying “this is above his pay gr” bc I said the word pressure yet they would charge my card for not staying the full 90 minutes.

This property is gorgeous. Compared to several of the other large resorts on the island, it is by far the nicest looking. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. We were there for a wedding and were the only ones out of 70 guests that stayed at the Margaritaville. We visited most of the other guests hotels and nothing came close to comparing to ours. Pros : Gorgeous Property Safari Taxi around the property for free Drivers extremely friendly Rooms are huge Gorgeous view Beach is nice Close to Red Hook Close to Ferry Close to shopping Cabs come in and out all day. Never have to wait. Cons: Restaurant is Horrible. Staff there just don’t care. Worst service I have ever received at a resort / corporate restaurant. They literally do not want to serve you. Maybe we got a bad server. But we watched other sections throughout the night. And everyone sat there with empty drinks, no food and no server for the entire evening. Gift shop closes at 6. So no coffee, bottled water, snacks etc. after 6pm. But when it is open it is a great place to grab a quick snack during the day. Spa is closed on the weekends. No room service daily. It’s a time share resort so they do not clean up after you. At least until you check out. But just take care of your room for the stay. In each building is a free washer / dryer and detergent for you to use at any time as well. Overall : Would absolutely stay again. You truly feel safe at the resort plus it’s gorgeous.

The property is quit new and the grounds are nice, the room is well equipped and in good condition. There are very nice 2 pools one of them is really wonderful in terms of view. The down side of this property: Most of the staff especially at the front desk where un pleasant and not really doing any effort to help. We got a room with at list 50 mosquitos inside, it was horrible we couldn't sleep for most of our vacation, never seen so many in my life and that is because there are standing stinky water near the lobby. We contacted the front desk about this issue, but they where not helpful. We wanted to replace the room, but they said they don't have any availability which clearly was not the case, because it was far from being full.

Beautiful grounds, very good food nice atmosphere and the accommodation where excellent

The best resort on the island and in the best shape after the hurricane. They hardly got any damage. The water has some seaweed, but it's still beautiful. You can swim where it isn't and they clean it up daily to try and stay after it. I am thinking about becoming an owner, just beautiful.

Pool bars were inconsistent in their opening and not early enough, especially the infinity pool.
