BUGS EVERYWHERE! Got there the first night, saw a bug or two in the shower, didn't think much of it at fist cause were on an island, I expect bugs but they ended up being EVERYWHERE! So many of them, even crawling on my toothbrush!! If I could share the video of the dozens of tiny ones spewing in from under the door I would. I ended up going to Bluebeards Castle!

Nice pool, good breakfast, and views of the water and city from some rooms and from breakfast patio. Located on hill overlooking town; the many stone steps from the street are charming but would be a challenge with much luggage.

I had a nice stay it's quite, private and clean. All the steps with luggage is a hassle.

Had a great time at bed and breakfast hotel. Room was comfortable and view of Harbour from room was great. Breakfast was simple but good. Location is great. Right where we needed to be. Lots of restaurants near by to dine at. Overall, stay was very good. I would stay here again.

Nice little hotel, nothing fancy, simple, inexpensive, great staff who were very helpful. My plane was over 7 hours late and we arrived at 1:30 am. The front doors were locked. I had to bang on the door for several mins and shout hellobefore someone arrived to let me in, but when they did it went very smooth. For the price it was perfect.

Stay here!! Great view nice rooms and good breakfast. Walking distance to shops.

This Bed & Breakfast has an awesome view of the inner harbor and an short walk to plenty of restaurants close by. Plus there is an open market to shop for anything you desire. They love to haggle with you over price and compete with the other merchants. The absolute only down part of this B&B is the stairs. There are so many stairs from the street level to the front desk you can't imagine. So, pack light. But it's worth and the workout is great.

Terrible choice. The room did not have a window. Stayed in the room 5 minutes, used the phone to make a reservation at another hotel, called a taxi and left. This is not a hotel it's more like a hostel. I do not recommend.

We loved being right downtown and within walking distance to St. Thomas. the pool was very pretty and had some shade. We spent most afternoons swimming and then reading by the pool. Breakfast is cooked fresh and you have a choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable. nice selection of cable channels. They had a book exchange which is really handy on a relax trip. Price was very good and quality was above the price.

Beautiful location with a great view. There are several units on different levels connected with beautiful pathways and steps along rock and brick walls. Flowers and palm trees abound. My room was on an inside hallway and had no window, but a covered deck was just steps away. The area felt safe and I walked to Crown Bay the next morning. Gail was a wonderful hostess. It's not a new building, but everything in the room worked fine. Breakfast on the deck tasty and relaxing.

I am not what you call a world class traveler. I am more of a meat and potatoes woman. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe, clean, friendly place to stay with a delicious hot breakfast each morning then this is the place for you. The price is reasonable and the view is beautiful (make sure to stay in a room on the top floor.) We were able to enjoy our time there and not break the bank. I highly recommend the Galleon House.

Great views, but long walk up to hotel. Within walking distance of shops.

Nice little place on top of a little hill, provides a nice view. Excellent breakfast provided is a nice touch when you wake.

The only thing we did not like is all the steps. Would not recommend to anyone who has back or knee problems.

wonderful place. great location. amazing friendly staff

Location in town is great. However, be ready to climb many steps to the site and to drag your luggage with you. No onsite luggage assistance is available. Breakfast is acceptable, only 3 choices available, and no substitutions allowed, unless you are a favored person. Breakfast location provides a great view of the city/sea. Rooms are minimally furnished, but clean. The site attracts a diverse and friendly clientele.

Hotel was just as advertized, a good Bed and breakfast on a rather large scale. Location was very convienent to downtown and the owner and staff very friendly and accomodating. Cab fare was ten bucks er person from the airport and there was plenty of shopping nearby, including a rather extensive flea market. Only downsize was a bit of climbing to ascend the hill and stairs.

It's an old B&B, a bit run down. The rooms could have been cleaner.

Amazingly friendly staff! Very cute hotel with a great deal of small time European charm. Clean, comfortable rooms with no "chain" hotel feel.

Lovely staff, great breakfast, beautiful views, quick walk down steps to downtown Charlotte Amalie. Would definitely stay here again.
