Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg5.0 out of 5.0

Although for a solo stay in Saint Petersburg or for a stay together with my significant other I would opt for the adjacent Holiday Inn, Staybridge is perfect for family weekend. We booked a two bedroom suite which turned out to be just perfect for us - two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower cabins, a living room and a kitchenette with all the necessary amenities. On the downside the wear and tear of the furniture and decor was surfacing and the soundproofing could have been much better, but all in all the value for money is there. Great homely atmosphere, very good, efficient and polite service. Excellent breakfasts and top-notch location equidistant from the center of the city and the airport. If you are visiting Saint Petersburg in a big company or with family, Staybridge is probably the best offer on the market.
We had a splendid time at this hotel. The service is certainly 5 star. I was so impressed by Nikolay who worked at reception. He spoke perfect English with a hardly recognisable Russian accent. When he told me that he has never traveled outside of Russia, I was most impressed. The rooms are very warm and cosy in the winter. Bedding is good although the pillows good be a little former and the duvets a little longer. They have 2 single beds together and 2 duvets covering them. You have to use 1 yet it's not long enough. Location is superb. Breakfast is more than adequate. Will return here definitely. Service from all staff was outstanding!
Stayed in the Staybridge Suites hotel for two nights during touring of St Petersburg in advance of a cruise. The hotel itself while being somewhat away from the more touristy areas is very nice. The reception is a bit odd in that it is on the second floor, but once you get your bearings figured out no worries. The room we rented was a two bedroom king suite. It was great for our needs and could easily accommodate a family of six - or two couples traveling together. The suite has a full kitchen with even a dishwasher. The beds were comfortable and the HVAC worked well. Our room had no appreciable view, but we were not really interested in that anyway. My only issues with the property were 1) low to little water pressure in the shower and 2) breakfast was somewhat sparse compared to other hotels even in Russia and seemed to run out of many things on both mornings we were there. They also have free laundry facilities on site which was a great bonus and also a little grocery store next door if you chose to cook something for yourself. Overall, I would recommend this property.
Thanks about manager and good, kind staff.this hotel is clean and good 4star.the breakfast is very good for 4star and changing afew everyday.the staff are very kind and answer any questions with smile.in the room is everything ok and nice kitchen we make the launch there.it is not near the central locations but after 5min.ride on metro if pass 4 stations you are in central.if I will come back to st.petersburg come again to this hotel.
This hotel is not in the center of town, but it's 4 metro stops away. But you probably don't need to use the metro very much; as Uber is quite reliable, fast and very cheap (like 150 rubles to the Hermitage). The hotel is a two-block walk to the metro (cut through the adjoining Holiday Inn) where there are a few shops, including a very visible cellphone store that will sell you a SIM card for 300 rubles that will give you phone calls and data in St. Petersburg (necessary to use Uber). A nice grocery store is adjacent to the Holiday Inn (good for buying a vodka souvenirs). I'd avoid taking taxis as many of them are scammers. What you get for staying outside of the city center is a modern hotel with free self-serve laundry (very useful for travelers), spacious suites (the 2-king, 2 bedroom suites is terrific for families), free decent-but-not-fantastic breakfast), and a helpful staff. I used my IHG Rewards points for my stay. Given the quality of the hotel, and the ease of transport into the center city, I would stay here again. St. Petersburg is a very large city, so any hotel location, even one more centrally located, won't be completely walkable, so the extra 10 minutes of Uber travel time to the Staybridge didn't really bother us.
This was my first stay at a Staybridge brand and it really lived up to my expectations... A good room with a nice living room and a bedroom.. I got a high floor and enjoyed the view of the city.. A little far from the main city Centre, but has a holiday inn in the same complex, so you may enjoy the F&b offerings there too... service of the staff were good and were proactive in most cases..
This hotel is connected to Holiday Inn. Our family of 5 choose this hotel because it has 2 bedroom suites with 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms had king beds and a full size pull out couch which was exactly what we needed. There was 4 bottles of water provided when we checked in (in our room). The suite also includes a mini kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Black out blinds were great at blocking the Northern lights. The check in staff spoke English and we had no issues. The breakfast was simple and changed a bit each day. They also have drinks and snacks at 7PM Monday- Thursday. They also have free laundry machines! We used the washer and dryers and we were grateful for this service. Bring powder washing soap or buy it at the registration desk. My husband and kids used the holiday Inn Gym (which is connected to the Staybridge). The gym is small but allowed for a nice work out. We would stay here again!
It is four stations away from the city center. It is an apart hotel and a well equipped kitchen inside. Breakfast is below the europen standarts but rooms are quite big. It is next to the Holiday Inn hotel.
We had originally booked a Marriott, but then discovered it wasn't close to the subway then we booked this. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway which is quick to Nevsky Prospect. We booked the 2 bedroom and it was so great. The check in staff do speak English so a previous commenter must have had a strange experience, but ours couldn't have been better. I speak Russian, but don't necessarily want to all the time. The check in was in English and they did fine. I don't expect other random staff to speak English like maybe the previous commenter. #dunno The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were great. My only complaint is that there is NO fresh air where the elevator room is. We were on the 9th floor. It needs some air purifier or something. The stagnant stale smoke smell was bad.
Was a bit disappointed with the hotel. Seemed very run down and tired. Furniture in the room was old and worn. We booked a 2 bedroom suite which had a kitchen, but there was no dining area to sit and eat. There are no restaurants or bars in this hotel. Staff spoke little or no English. I will try the holiday inn hotel which is right next door which looked much more modern and had a choice of restaurants and bars.
