Thanks about manager and good, kind staff.this hotel is clean and good 4star.the breakfast is very good for 4star and changing afew everyday.the staff are very kind and answer any questions with smile.in the room is everything ok and nice kitchen we make the launch there.it is not near the central locations but after 5min.ride on metro if pass 4 stations you are in central.if I will come back to st.petersburg come again to this hotel.
This hotel is not in the center of town, but it's 4 metro stops away. But you probably don't need to use the metro very much; as Uber is quite reliable, fast and very cheap (like 150 rubles to the Hermitage). The hotel is a two-block walk to the metro (cut through the adjoining Holiday Inn) where there are a few shops, including a very visible cellphone store that will sell you a SIM card for 300 rubles that will give you phone calls and data in St. Petersburg (necessary to use Uber). A nice grocery store is adjacent to the Holiday Inn (good for buying a vodka souvenirs). I'd avoid taking taxis as many of them are scammers. What you get for staying outside of the city center is a modern hotel with free self-serve laundry (very useful for travelers), spacious suites (the 2-king, 2 bedroom suites is terrific for families), free decent-but-not-fantastic breakfast), and a helpful staff. I used my IHG Rewards points for my stay. Given the quality of the hotel, and the ease of transport into the center city, I would stay here again. St. Petersburg is a very large city, so any hotel location, even one more centrally located, won't be completely walkable, so the extra 10 minutes of Uber travel time to the Staybridge didn't really bother us.
This was my first stay at a Staybridge brand and it really lived up to my expectations... A good room with a nice living room and a bedroom.. I got a high floor and enjoyed the view of the city.. A little far from the main city Centre, but has a holiday inn in the same complex, so you may enjoy the F&b offerings there too... service of the staff were good and were proactive in most cases..
This hotel is connected to Holiday Inn. Our family of 5 choose this hotel because it has 2 bedroom suites with 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms had king beds and a full size pull out couch which was exactly what we needed. There was 4 bottles of water provided when we checked in (in our room). The suite also includes a mini kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Black out blinds were great at blocking the Northern lights. The check in staff spoke English and we had no issues. The breakfast was simple and changed a bit each day. They also have drinks and snacks at 7PM Monday- Thursday. They also have free laundry machines! We used the washer and dryers and we were grateful for this service. Bring powder washing soap or buy it at the registration desk. My husband and kids used the holiday Inn Gym (which is connected to the Staybridge). The gym is small but allowed for a nice work out. We would stay here again!
It is four stations away from the city center. It is an apart hotel and a well equipped kitchen inside. Breakfast is below the europen standarts but rooms are quite big. It is next to the Holiday Inn hotel.
We had originally booked a Marriott, but then discovered it wasn't close to the subway then we booked this. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway which is quick to Nevsky Prospect. We booked the 2 bedroom and it was so great. The check in staff do speak English so a previous commenter must have had a strange experience, but ours couldn't have been better. I speak Russian, but don't necessarily want to all the time. The check in was in English and they did fine. I don't expect other random staff to speak English like maybe the previous commenter. #dunno The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were great. My only complaint is that there is NO fresh air where the elevator room is. We were on the 9th floor. It needs some air purifier or something. The stagnant stale smoke smell was bad.
Was a bit disappointed with the hotel. Seemed very run down and tired. Furniture in the room was old and worn. We booked a 2 bedroom suite which had a kitchen, but there was no dining area to sit and eat. There are no restaurants or bars in this hotel. Staff spoke little or no English. I will try the holiday inn hotel which is right next door which looked much more modern and had a choice of restaurants and bars.
Excellent stay for my family and 5. We stayed in a 2 rooms suite with a living room and a small kitchen in the middle. The building connects to Holiday Inn via level 3 and there are 2 restaurants inside holiday inn (maybe more but only saw 2, didn't really explore). Staff spoke very good English and are extremely helpful. Breakfast is very basic with daily oatmeal, bread toast, eggs, sausages and hash browns etc. Water and supplies can be purchased at the reception on level 2 at reasonable prices. Getting a uber taxi is no problem. Easily found and to most tourist places are usually between 120-250 rubles.
Very spacious! Plenty of room for 5 large people. Good kitchen. Grocery store just outside on the ground floor but also a small store in the hotel. Very comfortable and large beds. A quiet floor. Two pizza restaurants within walking distance (the one off the hotel grounds also serves Russian favorites). For a family with picky eaters it was perfect. Close to Metro, tram and bus to town about 5 miles away. Helpful and accommodating staff. They repaired out shower head with out us mentioning it was broken. We'd stuffed a towel behind it to hold it in place. Next day it was fixed. Breakfast was lovely. Something for every member of my family. Laundry room with LARGE washers and hot dryers. You are done in no time. We will definitely stay here again.
Conveniently located adjacent to a Holiday Inn, and opposite a metro stop - Moskovsky Vorota. The breakfasts are varied and adequate, as well as having your own kitchenette to cater for yourselves. There is a supermarket located next door to the hotel, as well as places to eat inside the Holiday Inn. Would recommend for families in particular as they go out of their way to cater for children at the breakfasts.
