Very clean, lovely breakfast and dinner, nice big lobby which was useful as we were travelling in a big group. Staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend a visit to the memorial opposite the hotel and the museum beneath it, which is incredibly interesting and very moving.
I stayed at Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya about a week ago and I really like to suggest this hotel for tourists to St. Petersburg. This hotel is conveniently situated near business center, shopping street and airport. It is also near bus stop and metro station. So, traveling is quite easy. The hotel is not large but expand into many connected buildings - St. Petersburg style. There is a huge circle housing a monument for defenders just in front of the hotel. There are supermarkets on both left and right side of the hotel; one opens 24 hours, the other opens from 09.00am-11.00pm. On the ground floor, there are restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, souvenir shops, massage parlors, and business meeting rooms. I got a room on the sixth floor, looking out to the monument in front of the hotel. The room is not spacious, but large enough for two people. Facilities and amenities are fully provided. So it is convenient for travelers who prefer to travel light. Breakfasts are decent and staff are efficient. All in all, I'd like to recommend this hotel to all tourist to St. Petersburg.
This hotel lies by the main road from airport to city center. Everything is big, but I enjoyed it. Clean and spacious rooms with all kind of equipment. Wifi worked perfect and was free. Breakfast had enough options and the staff was very helpful. For those who had time there were pool, jacuzzi, hamam and other offers. I cannot find something special to complain about.
the hotel is a machine with no charm. The lobby is not inviting there is no nice loungebar to sit. The breakfast is quite ok with large variety of food. The hotel is not so far from the airport but very far from the city and surroundings are not interesting. The room was extremely warm even if outdoor temp was 7 degrees and no possibility to open window and no way to adjust temperature. We woke up suffocating NIce that room had coffee/teamaker and it was clean and well equipped bathroom
Hotel well located close to Metro station (10 minutes distance by walk) Rooms well equiped and clean Breakfest - 2 separate rooms for Groups and individual tourists. I was luck to use restaurant for individuals... but it's not a highest standard which I expected by Radisson chain. Due to high season hotel was occupied by many groups from China and other countries. Morning it was a problem to use elevator due to number of people wanted to use it :)
Nice and big hotel. The location is good, just 500 meters from the Metro station and 200 meters from the Tramway. I stayed at the hotel with a group and there were many groups arriving at the same time. The rooms are OK but quite far from the elevator, too many turns to arrive to the room. One has to be be very careful when stepping into the bathroom as there is a step that is hard to see. Unfortunately I did not see it and felt. I reported to the front desk and told them that they should do something about. They sent me a plate with eclairs for the inconvenience.
This hotel is located close to the Pulkovo (LED) airport and right on the St. Petersburg city borderline. This makes it convenient for someone who wants to be close to both. It takes about 5-10 minutes by taxi to the airport and about half an hour to the city center. You can also take subway to the city center. The ride is about half an hour as well and the subway station is close to the hotel. This is an older hotel which seems to be completely renovated as looks nearly brand new from inside and outside. My check-in process was fast and welcoming. My business class room was of a good size for this chain and had a typical Park-inn décor. The room was modern and clean. A welcome fruit basket and a personal note was a nice touch. Service in the hotel was excellent. The hotel has a central air conditioning for each floor and temperature cannot be controlled individually for/in each room. To adjust the room temperature I had to call the service desk. I assume the temperature was then adjusted for the entire floor. WiFi coverage may need improvement as I was frequently disconnected and was unable to reconnect for a short while. Breakfast in the hotel is good and has local and western selections. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar but I did not have an opportunity to try them. Overall this is a good choice for business and leisure stays for someone who wants to be close to the airport to avoid the city traffic or for an early departure but also wants to be in the city.
Hotel is located between Pulkovo airport and St.Petersburg city center. It is big and very comfortable hotel with own airport shuttle bus and located about 500 meter from subway. Rooms are nice, modern and with all needed amenities. Really good Bavarian restaurant for dinner. Breakfest simple, but sufficient.
Very comfortable hotel. Situated between a airport and downtown Nevski precinct. Metro is 500m away and there are restaurants nearby. Rooms comfortable with complementary tea, coffee and wifi. The Leto shopping mall is about 2km away.
I was a bit sceptical when my tour operator chose this hotel for our stay in SPB and especially after reading the negative reviews. This is a BIG hotel (842 rooms), popular with travel groups and a notch lower than Radisson Blu (a full service, upscale brand). So please choose this hotel for convenience and cost and NOT for a luxury experience. The rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious. The breakfast is fairly elaborate. I (and my colleagues) had reasonably a good stay. The arrangements made by our travel partners Cox and Kings were good. They ensured a separate check in (saved us the trouble of crowding the reception area), had a separate hall for breakfast (helped us beat the crowds) and a separate floor for the group. I suggest that the hotel should provide separate checkin/check out, floors, dining area for individual tourists so as to enhance their travel experience. The arrangements for tour groups must be separate. Overall a nice stay. No complaints.
