This hotel is in an excellent location with excellent customer service. We had issues when my Valet was stolen and Gleb (front desk) helped us contact Police Department, wrote letters for us, and went above and beyond to ease the pain. Thanks for everything!
Our arrival at this hotel gave us cause for concern. The first impression of the hotel entrance was not good, neither was the hallway as we entered. It was littered with paper and a bit dirty. I have included a photograph of the entrance so you can see what I mean. Reception is up on the 2nd floor with lift access. The first glimpse of the room was a little depressing too. We booked this property because it had a high rating on various sites. We had three rooms booked for four nights. With all of that said let me now say that the hotel turned out to be fine. The welcome at reception was very friendly and efficient. Yes, the room was dark but with the curtain open and light on it was fine and we adjusted to the dark colours. The bed was very comfortable, the shower good and the water hot. Internet was good. The breakfast room was bright and roomy, had a good selection of cold food plus toast and staff were efficient. We missed having tea and coffee making facilities but there was filtered cold water on each floor. The location is perfect and is within walking distance of virtually everything. I do think the Nevsky Breeze lives up to the higher rating on booking sites and would recommend as a good place to stay.
well located in the heart of the historic part of the city, behind the saint Issac cathedral ,and near the city channels which can be very good choice for transportation with touristic boats to every part of the city and even outside the city (like Peterhof palace) with cheaper prices and faster and better quality ; but with poor lobby and entrance view. the rooms had standard size and fairly acceptable quality.
base on the value, the hotel was perfect , the location was good, 20mins to Hermitage, river and metro station, also a mini market was nearby, he ladies at reception were friendly. the breakfast was more than good, they had a kind of cake that i enjoyed and they gave me complimentary pack when i asked where to buy more, when i visit St Petersburg again, i'll choose this hotel again for sure.
Stayed for 3 nights as part of a holiday package.Hotel is conveniently placed and within easy walking distance of many attractions.Clean and tidy with helpful staff.Breakfast is OK with mix of hot/cold dishes.
me and my family stayed here for 1 night in our visit to St. Petersburg and I was surprised with the room and the cleanliness of the hotel. From the outside, it was an old and small. But the room is big and VERY CLEAN I must say. No single dot of mold in the bathroom. It has a bathtub, shower cap, shampoo and conditioner, and very clean towels. I was really impressive. reception area was tiny but the staff was very helpful. It is a short walk to most of the tourist spots. The breakfast is not of interest though. It has only yoghurts and few stuff so we did not eat our breakfast there but this was NOT an issue for me ;) I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
The hotel was awesome if I returned to st Petersburg I certainly choose this hotel again .good located.the crew was awesome they answer any question. They were very helpful for me our room was very big they were clean. But the break fast wasn't so good. The street of hotel was very beautiful
Spent a week in this hotel with my wife. We were there end July 2016. Hotel is very clean, pleasant, with pretty good offer for breakfast. Towels changed on daily basis. It is situated 5 min walk from St. Isac Church, 5 min walk from Admiralty, 15 min walk from Hermitage museum and Palace Square. Even Vasilevsky Island, and Peter and Paul Fortress are on a walking distance. Ideal place to stay when you visit St. Petersburg. I would strongly recommend it.
Spent one week in this hotel July 2016 with family. It is a quite basic hotel but its location is perfect for sightseeing in St.Petersburg,5 mins walk to Hermitage etc.The rooms are clean and the breakfast is just ok.Reception area is tiny although staff are friendly and helpful.
First impression could fool you. Standing in front of the Nevsky Breeze you might wonder if you're at the right place. Let me assure you : You are ! Get up to the second floor where you meet friendly staff at the reception desk. They will tell you the number of the great room you will be staying in. Breakfast is definitely OK and after that you are ready to head for the interesting places close to the hotel : St. Isaacs', the Hermitage, Nevsky Prospect .... Enjoy your stay like we did !
