Loved my stay! Awesome beach bar, caring staff, nice pool, close to the beach! Will definitely be coming back!

The room was very good and the staff was very, very nice and efficient.

The only reason I would not recommend this hotel is that it needs updated badly. We felt safe and it is clean, just in bad need of updating, the rooms are not pleasant to the eye. The bed was 'ok' but not great. The lication is good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. This could be a 4 or 5 star hotel with some work.

Had a great time going to the beach. Went to the Dali Museum that was close by. Went to dinner at Skidders, within walking distance. The greatest food. Close to Tropicana Field to take in a Rays game. Went down to the Pass-a-grille neighborhood at the end of the beach. Went to the other side on the intercoastal waterway.

I was a bit disappointed with this Hotel. The picture of the rooms clearly had a whirlpool bathtub however there was no whirlpool bathtub in the room. The Staff was very helpful and accomodating and that was probably the best part of the stay. Hair Dryer had hair on it. One of our cover blankets had stains. No ashtray on the balcony. No Do Not Disturb sign for the door. Staff quickly corrected these once I informed them. There was a Safe in the Room but when I asked for the key set for the Safe I was told they were out of them and would put me on a wait list. We stayed 3 nights and I never did receive a key set for the Safe. The Hotel is very close to the Beach but not directly on the Beach. I could see the Gulf from my Balcony but it was not the Ocean view I was hoping for. The price was good but it is an older Hotel.

Toilet clogged repeatedly Hair dryer threw sparks Room was not cleaned/vacuumed well

Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and activities.

everything went very well from check in to check out. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past. Mostly because it's been a good deal. The rooms have not been top quality for years. There is a musty smell throughout the hotel, and my room this time was particularly musty. Peeling paint, hard beds, and overly soft pillows are nothing new. What's new is that their prices were higher. Still a touch lower than the hotels around it, but close enough now that I will definitely look at the two next door in the future. The plus side: The food in the restaurant is really good though expensive. Try the breakfast hash browns. The staff is friendly and I love the bar out back. It's also close walking distance to two other beach bars with totally different personalities.

This hotel is in a great location and the beach bar is a lot of fun. We really enjoyed it and would do it again.

This hotel has a great location right next to some great bars and resorts and is a great value. While some of the rooms on the lower levels are older, they are still kept clean and are fairly large compared to other larger resorts next door. Would stay here again as it saves me money and most of my time is spent on the beach anyways so I am not too concerned about a modern, fancy room at a large resort that charges resort fees

Good value for the money. Great beach. Parking can be a challenge. Onsite beach bar and restaurant are good.

We enjoyed our stay and are coming back for another two nights next week! The staff were all very pleasant and greatly accommodating! Hope to enjoy the next two nights with them as well!

Hotel was good, hair dryer didn't work and staff were told numerous times but never did anything . We did Busch gardens, went to Raymond James stadium for the packer game. Lots of sight seeing, siesta keys, Clearwater, bradington.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was a little run down but clean and tidy. For the price it was great!! I am not one to spend loads of money to sleep, however I do require clean and tidy, so this was perfect!

When I got there 3:30pm, I thought the room should be ready but the front desk said they change the check in time from 3:00 to 4:00 instead so I wasn't too happy about it but they managed to give me the room ten minute later. The room was clean and good size, perfect location, toast monkey has great food but a little nosie at night. So far so good! Will go back again!

This is a perfect place to stay. Right on the beach and next to toasted monkey bar. I recommend staying on 4th or 5th floor if you prefer nice beach view and updated rooms. We stayed on 2nd floor and the room and hallway was nice but was definitely outdated and felt from the 80's. Not as clean and updated as other hotels right next door.. BUT the room was much bigger than guy Harvey next door. I was happy since I only used the room to sleep and was large, but if you want modern apparel go to top floors.

I read so many reviews on Yelp and other places before finally choosing this hotel. Most of the issues had to do with the age and outdated features of the rooms and buildings. Personally, I look more for comfort, cleanliness, location to beach and restaurants and affordability. This hotel most certainly delivered on all of the above. The staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful and professional. Our room was spacious and very clean. The only thing I saw that bothered me was a small dark spot on the ceiling from a previous water leak. The bath enclosure was new, the bedding and floor was clean and fresh, and we walked to most everything the entire time we were there. They have restaurants on site and the surrounding hotels welcome everyone to their restaurants and bars. Saturday check-in was quite hectic for the staff and patrons but the place was blissful on Sunday afternoon after most of the weekenders checked out. All in all I would say that this place was a treasure for under $100 per night and I would absolutely go back again.

Excellent location, pool was great. Toasted Monkey staff were outstanding and the location was excellent (right by the pool). The hotel is older and outdated so the room was a bit disappointing. It wasn't really a big deal though because who spends a lot of time in the room when you're there to enjoy the beach! It just needs some updating with the furniture, lighting, tile and carpeting. Overall we were satisfied, especially because of the value and where it's located.
