It was run down quite a bit, but I knew from reviews before I went that it would be like that. It was clean and quiet and very good for the price. I asked for a first floor room and he gave me one on the beach side even though I paid for an inside room. So that was a plus. All in all, not bad.

Location is the best. Ocean front balcony was beautiful. Place needs a face lift but if your there for the beach that's the place to be especially for the price.

I like the cost for a room right on the beach in this area! It is an older property and could use some some updated items but it was clean.

Right on the beach and quiet we got locked out staff wad very helpful

The location right on the beach was the high light. The condition of the facility was deplorable. Needs a serious upgrade.

This is a dated property but clean and at a great location.

Fantastic location, right on the beach. Great view from the balcony. Hotel is very run down. Beds were pretty comfortable. Nice big refrigerator with a real freezer. Stove burners looked scary, but did work -- we cooked eggs and steaks on them. No light bulb in the fixture over the kitchen sink, so we were cooking in the dark. Fairly clean -- sheets looked good, bathroom pretty good (one stray hair), a little bit of trash under the bed. Overall, the incredible location made the rundown condition of the hotel worth it.

Our hotel stay was everything we needed. Close to dining and night life and directly on the beach.

The hotel was okay, but really needs updating. The hallways were dirty and dingy. The rooms were okay but again needs updating. No shower head in the shower, lights that didn't work and replaced with stick-up press on lights. Okay to stay a night or two but wouldn't want to stay for long. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

exactly as expected for the price. it perfect for a quick trip and two night stay. the location couldn't have been better.

I couldn't believe how old and rundown this place was. I instantly checked for bed bugs. There was a cup under my bed and the fridge was dirty inside. Will say bed was comfy. The burners were filthy inside and were lining with foil that was very ripped.

The lobby was filthy. Paint was peeling of the hallway walls. The floor had not been swept. The elevator was falling apart. The pool was filthy. The pool deck was not tended to the entire week of my stay. There was trash in the preserved area of the beach in front of the hotel. The room had exposed electrical wires hanging from the ceiling. There were missing lamp shades. The bathroom vanity was pulling away from the wall. The closet doors were not on the tracks. The only positive thing I can say about this place was it had a great balcony and view of the beach; however, that is not enough to overcome the rest of the problems. There are plenty of other places on the beach at the same price with the same views.

I thought after reading some of the positive stuff about this hotel and drove by it the outlay was appealing. Not so, I am sorry I had my grandchildren stay there even though they mostly slept in the horrible bed.

The view of the Gulf was wonderful and it was an easy walk to the beach. The pool was clean, but closed at dusk. Parking is good. The daily room rate was under $100. There is limited desk service and check-out is at 10:00 AM. The building 2nd floor hallway was old and a window at the end was cracked. The elevator was old, but worked. The 2nd floor room was comfortable and clean. The ice machine on the first floor was broken.

Needs many repairs. Had beachfront room. Bed was good. There was no shower head in my bathroom. If you just need a bed on the beach, go here. If you want a family vacation, go someplace else.

Enjoy the fact the beach was right out the back door.

It was on the beach but there was no staff to give any assistance and the person who did finally show up to check us in did not make you feel like it was some place you would want to stay.

When we arrived to check in we were given the riot act due to a friend of ours was paying for the room. I had brought along a copy of her visa card and drivers license along with a phone number that he could call and verify it with her. He got very rude and was yelling at her on the phone. After all this he could not locate our room key. I waited an additional hour and a half to finally get a key and he had to give me the master key to all the rooms to use. The rooms were dirty and mold was found inside the coffee maker basket. When I turned on the heat it set off the smoke detectors. The guy at the front desk was rude and was yelling at other customers too because they came in two cars and charged them an additional $15.00. Forget it if you want guest to come and visit they want to charge $20.00 for every 2 hours. Bottom line this place needs new owners that care and will maintain this property.
