Great stay even though they are renovating. Quiet and clean rooms with a big nice shower . Kirsten was wonderful and helpful in letting me print papers because their business center wasn’t open yet! Breakfast was good too.
The hotel looks and smells like it’s just finishing a very significant renovation. My room was done, looked great, and smelled like new carpet. The lobby is in the middle of a huge renovation that looks about 40% complete. The location is centrally located between Tampa and St Pete. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing to be aware of is parking. While the renovation is going on there are several conex in the parking lot taking up about a third of the parking which can make finding a space a challenge if you arrive late.
I arrived late at night (nearly midnight) after a frustrating flight. Got to the hotel and was quickly checked in and given my room key. Got to my room and neither card key worked :/. Tried swiping the card backwards and forwards, up and down. No luck. Had to trek back to the front desk for a correction to the key code. I’m allergic to feather pillows and had requested foam pillows instead. Found that about half the pillows in the room were actually feather and not foam. I put the pillows on the other side of the room to reduce the risk of allergic reaction. Breakfast buffet was pretty sparse by 8:30 am. Very few gluten-free options (lots of bagels, muffins, waffles, etc). Not much for a Celiac like me to eat for breakfast.
Came here to stay for two weeks and management was unhelpful very rude and had their employees scared to death of her made reservations for a king suite was not available upon arrival put us in a double rooms were dirty had to complain two times and when asking when king suite was available they evicted us from the hotel so would not recommend this hotel to anyone we were not rude we feel we were very pleasant under the circumstances
Stayed here for five nights, even while under construction it was very clean and quiet, never know the work was going on. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, great breakfast and great location. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to family/friends
It's a little hotel what has all it you need for a short stay. Is placed in a central point between Tampa and Clearwater. To use laundry service must go to hotel beside. Nearby you find many fast food sites.
I have stayed here multiple times and they have all been successful! The staff is very friendly and the rooms and very well kept, the free breakfast is pretty good with good selection. Definitely will be staying here again.
Have stayed her before, value is good, hotel is clean, staff is helpful, free breakfast is "OK". Convenient location, still need to battle the construction on Ulmerton just west of the hotel. Really have no complaints and would readily stay here again as long as price is reasonable. This is on a strip of hotels, including a Courtyard right next door, so there are certainly options to shop for value. But certainly this location merits attention.
Checked in here after a bad experience with the Extended Stay just down the street. Walked in and was greeted by Josh at the front desk who found us a nice, clean, non-smoking room and offered great advice about the area. Room was clean, offering the usual amenities (fridge, microwaves, and the HVAC that allows you to have the fan run continuously-which makes for a much better nights sleep). Nice complimentary breakfast in the morning, usually opens at 6, but was ready at 530 (we had told Josh when checking in that we had an early flight). That is great customer service!! Would DEFINATELY stay here again when in the area.
Stayed here last spring while catching some spring training with friends. The hotel rooms are well maintained and clean but they could use some renovating to the standard of the newer Fairfield Inn properties. Pool did not appear to get heated at all and the hotel advertised having a hot tub when in fact it did not have one. Location wise it is a little far for some of the attractions in the area but there's restaurants and stuff not too far. You could certainly do worse than staying here but the area has better Marriott properties.
