The hotel is old but was suprised at how nice the furniture was, how nice the bathroom was and how comfortable the bed was. We couldn't find anything close to the venue we were attending so had to taxi back and forth so that was unfortunate. Everything was sold out downtown. The TV didn't work and neither did the safe but didn't bother to call it in as it was late when we got back to hotel. As a whole, wasn't a bad place, just thought it would be a little cheaper cuz of the age of the place. BUT would stay again! :)

This hotel was very very very outdated. It reminded me of a dirty truck stop or a rooming house. The restaurant down stairs was filled with degenerate alcoholics place needs a make over staff was great..

great service, they have small bar and also great people!!

The hotel was outdated and needed remodeling. It has an old smell to it. The area is not the best, meaning not an area to walk around especially at night. The room was clean, but not fresh smelling. The beds were ok and AC worked so it was not unpleasant. I booked it because it was cheap but would've preferred nicer hotel. will not book in future at this hotel because I am willing to pay a little more.

All good, the hotel is near from principal locations

Decent night's sleep for the money. Very conveniently located on brand new light rail line to Downtown Minneapolis and Downtown St. Paul; easy transfer to/from Airport. Good breakfast place though bar is slightly dodgy at night (though acceptable).

Hotel is clean, staff was friendly however you can hear every noise at night. Did not always get the best of sleep.

If you are looking for basic lodging then this is it. The hotel looks and smells old. The hotel has a local bar attached, so parking is taken by the bar patrons after 5. The location is between two big cities and freeway access is great, but that's probably the best I can say about this hotel. I won't be returning.

The staff was very helpful, but the facilities are in need of upgrading. Expected more but overall was happy

When we arrived the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had trouble with close caption on the TV and it was fixed within 15 minutes. The shuttle to U of m was on time and comfortable. We will be staying the again

Very low quality for the price. TV didn't work very well and the rooms were not very clean or comfortable

Hotel was very average and not worth the price. I was in a non-smoking room and the hotel smelled of smoke leaving my clothes smelling of smoke. The rooms are outdated and the first room I was in the window was frozen open.

The rooms were not bad. The beds were comfortable and the staff did bring us more towels when asked. However, when my companions and myself (three women total) went down to the bar for a drink we were propositioned.I had security remove this man. But within a short period of time he was back again harssing us. I did find out from a family member whom we were visitng that this hotel was busted for a prostitution ring. Well, that was not on the description of the hotel that I read! Had I known this we would have stayed elsewhere.

This hotel is attached to a Bar & Grill. When we arrived all available parking was taken by bar patrons. Tried to park close to the office to check in but was told to move our car immediately by person standing outside smoking. Was told this space was for their van only which might return sometime soon. We parked at the back of the lot and walked through 12 inches of snow, since the lot had not been cleared. Inside we discovered it was the front desk help that was outside smoking. She was very irritated that we had interrupted her break. If I had not prepaid I would never had stayed at this hotel. Room was just marginally clean, no amenities, staff was not helpful, at least a foot of snow over entire parking area, noise level was high until early morning. Will never stay there again.

The rate was great for this hotel, with a discount for 4 nights. The area is not great. Mostly smoking rooms in this hotel. Mostly sketchy customers.

convinent and valuable.wifiis good and I will recommend to friends

Was looking for a reasonably priced option for a quick one night stay. The price was definitely reasonable, but I could have (and have previously) found a MUCH better deal for the same price in the area. The room was filthy- we had a question for the front desk and tried to use the phone to call. The buttons on the phone were so filthy/sticky tht you couldn't even press them down! There was old coffee in the room's coffee pot, the room was very smelly (almost like garbage), there was a gigantic brown stain on the Side if the bed (box springs), the table was dirty. By far the worst hotel I've stayed at in many, many years. Horrible!!

This place is not in the best neighborhood, but the last time I stayed here, I felt pretty safe and it is close to my relatives. This time, I'm sure I saw a woman of the night standing outside one of the doors in the back when I pulled up. It's noisy and the multiple security doors you have to navigate with luggage make entrance difficult. Hallways are institutional and narrow. I won't stay here again.

I wasn't expecting much, but economics and location made me choose this hotel. Originally booked for one night as I expected to need to find better digs when I got to our destination. Not so, extended stay for all the time we were in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Maybe its new or they just did a refurbishing but everything was immaculate and everything worked!Only problem was parking, Saturday night, the parking lot was full and I had to park in the lot of an adjoining factory. Front desk assured me that this would be OK as it was a Sat night and the factory wasn't operating. Left unsaid is what would happen when they are full during the week.

Very old hotel -- thought the "Days Inns" were more modern. Our room was right outside a door where the parking lot was, where we could never open our window - otherwise, everyone coming and going could see in. There was NO sound proofing; heard every word, footsteps, above or next to us. Leftover coffee in coffee pot was never emptied/cleaned nor were the coffee packets removed. Bed was made nicely each day; and bathroom cleaned - but noticed black mark near bathtub under sink (mold???). Bar at the front - near midnight - 4 people out front swearing, talking loudly, didn't feel very safe. Will not return to this particular hotel ever!!
