This is a motel, exterior doors, walkways and stairs. Walls are extremely thin (you can hear tvs and conversations). If you use it as a motel (sleep and shower) it is great. This is not a vacation stay location.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean.
When we arrived the hostess gave us a room that someone was already in. I asked when we went back for a possible bottom floor and she gave us upstairs. When we got into the room it stunk. However, the bed was comfortable and we were thankful. I rate it a 2 star hotel.

A nice overnight stay and breakfast
Booked this hotel as part of my Labor Day visit to Cumberland Island, GA. Hotel was clean, and convenient to the visitor's center.
The room seemed fairly clean. The decor was old, the shower fixtures were corroded. Water pressure was good. The overall room needed a good update. The smell of the deodorizer in the room kinda got to us. The flooring is that cheap vinyl "roll on" look wood but certainly better than carpet. The breakfast is a choice of muffins and waffle/maker, coffee, no eggs or protein. This is a 70's type property where you drive up to the room and park. We paid for 2 nights, but left after 1.
I would have rated higher because of cleanliness, delicious free breakfast, and super friendly staff but I had very loud neighbors next to my room with loud music and moving furniture 2 o’clock in the morning
Hidden Gem. Several food options close. Was pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the room, with a complete kitchen. Room was very clean. Pool is open 24 hours a day, and in an enclosure, which is nice. Mattress was a little firm for my liking, but comfortable. The water pressure in the shower could be better, but that is my only complaint. And they allow pets for a small fee, which was super awesome. Happy customer here, and will definitely stay here again.

The room was great! I paid too much through Orbitz. My buddy checked in at the desk for 30% less!
Have stayed here many times when visiting Cumberland Island. The value is excellent. The courtyard setting with pool, benches, picinic tables and landscaping is unlike I’ve found at any of the numerous hotels I’ve stayed at. Rooms have all you need are clean and have comfortable beds.
Super clean facility and property. Pool area was also very well maintained. Great value for the money. Breakfast area was very well organized and clean. I will definitely come back to this hotel!
Efficient, clean and cheap in a good location. St Marys is a beautiful area with lots to offer.
Not a luxury hotel, but perfect for us. Quiet, good staff, older, a good breakfast and close to downtown St. Marys which is what we wanted. No issues.
The man that originally waited on me was very nice and made me feel welcome. A different person when I left and not so friendly. Really soft bed. I slept great. Love this little town. First time I visited.
