The Hotel and Staff were Great. The Hotel is located in town, hourly shuttle to their sister hotel on the beach. Walking distance to Shopping Mall (duty free) KFC, Burger King, Dominos, and Casino. The only downfall is the airport is on the other end of the island 1 1/2 hr. $90 taxi ride. But all the resorts are on this end of the island.

great staff, clean! clean! clean! room & hotel! Best value for the money.

Nice place, nice people. Just make sure you visit all of the other Bay Gardens hotels to get the most out of it.

This hotel has 2 other facilities in the network. Of the three, This was the cheapest place. The hotel doesn't offer alot of amenities but the staff were friendly.

The hotel was okay. Don't plan to spend much time here, especially if you're a single female. The shuttle to the Reduit beach was nice. Pool- only 3 ft 6 inches deep.

We just stayed here one night before going to Sandals for our Honeymoon. Not a bad place, but not the best either.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The food is always excellent as I have stayed there many times. Also the hotel is in close proximity to shopping and many restaurants.

total relaxation

This is a great budget option in St Lucia. The hotel is clean, safe and staff very friendly. It is convenient to shopping, banks, restuarants and within an easy walk to the beach. The hotel provides a shuttle but we never used it. The sister resort on the beach has chairs, bar, etc for Inn guests.

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Very good value - clean , very friendly and helpful staff, efficiently run. Basic rooms - don't expect spa products in the bathroom. Free and reliable wireless internet (the only hotel we've stayed in that has not had connectivity problems at some point during our stay). Easy walking distance to restaurants in Rodney Bay. Shuttle to sister hotel Bay Gardens Resort allowed use of beach - best location in Rodney Bay, would recommend staying at beach resort if you want walk-out beach access. Taxi service always available for getting around but local 'bus' cheaper - we went into Castries using bus service. Rain forest canopy tram ride and catamaran trip to Soufrier were arranged by Barefoot Tours at the hotel - would recommend both although catamaran trip (full day) was better value (lunch and visits to volcano and plantation included). Don't bother with the 'shopping malls' even in Castries - mostly closed shops. Market in Castries much more exciting.

This hotel was very nice. It was very clean and all that we expected. We don't need extra fancy...good deal for the price. We weren't thrilled with the breakfast that you could get there, so we did go to other places for that, or got stuff at the grocery store and ate on our balcony. We liked the breakfast buffet at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort very nice. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The beach and pool, along with the restaurant at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort was very nice. We would stay again! Since you can use the facilities at the Beach Resort, it made sense to stay at the Inn and walk over to the Beach Resort each day.

A wonderful staff! Mostly everyone was very friendly, kind and accomodating ([...] to name just a few). The location is extremely convenient to shopping, grocery store, bank and many restaurants. Having the luxury of enjoying the amenities of the Bay Gardens Hotel across the street and frequent shuttles to the Bay Gardens Resort to use the beach and larger pool is a big plus. The Inn is the smallest and most modest of the three hotels, so don't expect luxury. It is very quaint and for the most part, comfortable. They (but mostly guests) would benefit from newer mattresses and nicer pillows. We ate breakfast there and only one dinner. The food is very simple but it's enough to keep you going for the day. There is a great variety of restaurants, so you can try something different every day. The ride from Hewanorra Airport is over an hour and very winding roads up and down the mountains, but you certainly enjoy wonderful views and learn a little of the island on the way there. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning to the Inn.

We stayed at the Catalina for one night simply to be able to get to the airport bright and early for a connecting flight to St. Lucia. Our first impression was that it was typical Miami - gaudy, bright, and full of people looking to have a good time. The staff was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately our room was on the first floor, right next to the lobby bar. The staff said it wouldn't be that noisy, but they were WRONG. Since we were in the front of the hotel, floor level, we could hear the neighboring restaurants' and bars' music all night. With the AC on that would have been bearable but there was a LOUD, ROWDY group at the hotel's lobby bar right outside our door which kept us up ALL NIGHT. Needless to say, it was a miserable flight the next morning on no sleep. However, had it not been for that loud group, I think things would have been much better. The room was white and bathed in red light which was very odd and not really my style, but it was clean and served its purpose. For a cheaper but clean one night stay, this place does the trick.

The hotel was nice overall the staff was nice. Due to the Tropical storms there wasn't many activities going on. The hotel was surrounded by many restaurants some were better than others so we entertained ourselves with that and the local mall, beach and pool. We got a flood in the hotel room but the staff kindly offered us another room. If I could of made the trip better, I would say that they need to have back up entertainment for there guest due to the factor that tourist are there on vacation in a new place and not to dig for a place or thing to do especially when the weather doesn't permit you to tour other areas. Comparing to other trips it was ok I think that maybe if there wasn't a tropical storm things would of been better. Overall, I think I it a very beautiful island. I had read in another review before I went that the food is more expensive in the Hotel instead eat in the outside restaurant and they were right.

Never Advised that there was NO water. I know they had a Hurricane, but having no bathroom facilities thru out the day was horrible. Was only impressed with the Bat Gardens Resort which we up-graded to & was great. But no water! really put a damper on the stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, clean rooms and free, fairly reliable WiFi. Convenient location by the main road and adjacent to shopping, restaurants & bars, with a free hotel shuttle to the beach (5 minute ride). The Rodney Bay area bustles with activity.

Great room with a great view, very colorful walls, spacious room with balcony, really friendly staff. They have a shuttle that goes to the other bay gardens hotel which is right on the beach about 5 min away. Just don't get food at the restaurant - too much money for a sub-par buffet, go to a local spot like the lime instead.

The Bay Gardens Inn is a small but cosy hotel in Rodney Bay. The staff is very helpful and always there to help. The shuttle will take you to the Bay gardens resort, so u can enjoy an amazing beach with beautiful sunsets. I had a great time in St.Lucia and will stay here aggain.

We stayed at Bay Gardens Inn when we went to St Lucia to watch the World T20 Cricket. It is a nice small hotel with the most friendliest of people - trust me, they will always have a smile on their face and will be willing to help you any which way they can. The rooms are clean, quiet and spotless.

Good location, professional staff, relatively cheap, clean but simple, saved a lot of money compared to all inclusive hotels on the Island. Could afford a lot of activities as result, bought food in local grocery store rather than eating out 3 times a day. All shops and services literary around the corner, free shuttle to beach 5min away or walk (15min), Barefoot Holiday serviced all tours on Island in a professional manner. Tip well and don't be cheap and you will find a very friendly and interactive local population that really makes it worth while to visit more than once. Well preserved rain-forest and Marine Reservation makes for a wonderful experience around the Island.
